Pabi Moloi confirms shock exit from Power 98.7
Moloi, who joined Power 98.7 in June 2023 to host the weekday lunchtime show, announced her resignation via social media on Monday, sharing the news with a short message.

While she offered no specific details about the reasons behind her exit or what lies ahead, her growing list of new ventures signals a busy future beyond the mic.
In July, Moloi stepped into the role of host for season 11 of SABC3's reality show The Insurance Apprentice .
The series highlights young professionals in the insurance industry through challenges and interviews.
'Hosting The Insurance Apprentice is an exciting and rewarding experience,' said Moloi.
'Each episode gives me the chance to engage dynamic young professionals shaping the future of insurance. I'm inspired by their resilience and drive.'
Earlier this year, Moloi also branched into the podcasting world.
In January 2025, she and her brother Khabane Moloi launched 'A Brother and A Sister', a podcast described as a mix of candid sibling conversations, cultural commentary, and reflections on modern life.

Some listeners of the station wondered about Moloi's absence from the airwaves on the lunchtime show, Power Lunch. Power FM has confirmed that it accepted seasoned broadcaster Pabi Moloi's resignation from the station. The broadcaster has been with Power for more than a decade, with her voice heard in one of the trademark jingles on the station. The Citizen reached out to Moloi on various platforms for comment, but she hadn't responded at the time of publishing. However, on Tuesday, Moloi launched her podcast, the Pabi Moloi Podcast. The podcast's first episode is broadcast under the It's A Brother And A Sister channel, which she owns with her younger brother Khabane, on YouTube and Spotify. He was spotted, he was offered this, and he brought me along, so it's not the other way around at all,' said Moloi. The two, who lived together at the time of speaking to this publication, said the podcast hasn't brought them any closer than they were. 'It was more of a thing where we're putting ourselves out there.' 'For me, it was very interesting to see our work dynamic, because we haven't had a work dynamic like this before. So, it's been interesting for me to watch how your [Khabane] mind thinks,' shared Moloi. '…So, merging those worlds and giving each other notes, I actually think it's made us… I feel closer to you. A Justin Bieber lookalike tricked everyone at a Las Vegas nightclub by performing for a large audience before he was discovered. Image: X A Justin Bieber impersonator managed to sneak his way into XS Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas over the weekend, convincing staff and even DJ Gryffin that he was the real deal. The fake Bieber arrived with an 'advance team' and put on a convincing act that got him into the DJ booth and eventually onto the stage. He performed 10 songs for the packed crowd before staff realised they had been fooled. DJ Gryffin, who was performing that night, brought the impersonator on stage and shared the moment on Instagram, only to later find out that his supposed star guest was just a lookalike in a hoodie. 'The place went wild,' Gryffin admitted, saying he was just as shocked as everyone else once the truth came out. The club later confirmed the incident, saying the man and his crew staged an 'elaborate and multi-step ruse' to get access, and they did such a stellar job because it's really hard to see that the impersonator is, in fact, not the 'Go Baby' singer. According to DJ Gryffin, the impersonator's team told club staff that Bieber himself would be present and keen to join the night's performance. Once the mistake was spotted, the impersonator was removed from the resort, banned from all Wynn properties, and denied future entry. Reports also claim he left behind a whopping $10,000 (approximately R176,223) bar tab. It seems as though the city is all about partying and not so much about who is providing the good vibes. According to netizens, this is not the first time Vegas has been fooled by a convincing lookalike. The city's nightlife is full of stories of random people being mistaken for celebrities simply because of a strong resemblance.
