It was not immediately clear how many people had been injured.
Roughly 100 people were onboard the train at the time of the crash, roughly 98 miles west of Munich.

Two men have been jailed after police found them with £1,600 of cocaine in Yarm. Terrence Smith and Peter Walker were found guilty of possession with intent to supply the Class A drug. On Tuesday, October 8, Force Intelligence Officers and officers from Stockton Neighbourhoods Team executed a drug warrant at an address on Meynells Walk. When police arrived at the property Smith was caught leaving the address. Smith was attempting to get into a vehicle parked outside. Walker, who had just left the address in a taxi before police arrived, was stopped by officers on Thornaby Road in Thornaby. He was searched and found in possession of 20 small packages which were £20 cocaine deals, with a total value of £400. A search of the address led officers to seize a range of drug dealing paraphernalia. Smith, 35, from Yarm, and Walker, 37, from Thornaby, were both arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine. The police investigation found that Walker would travel to Smith's home in Yarm daily to collect drugs to deal in the Thornaby area. Smith was found to be in possession of a phone hosting the 'deal line' and then would direct Walker where to deal the drugs in Thornaby. Both men pleaded guilty to the charges when they appeared before Teesside Crown Court. On Thursday July 31, Smith was sentenced to four years and one month and Walker three years in prison. Inspector James Allen, from Cleveland Police 's Force Intelligence, said of the case: 'Police are gathering intelligence in relation to drugs operations such as this all the time, to disrupt and take down these drugs networks. It's not a case of whether you will get caught, rather a case of when you will get caught. 'Drugs cause misery to our communities, with dealers preying on the vulnerable for their own greed. If you are dealing drugs, we will catch up with you and you will be put before the courts.' Post-mortem finds baby's skull fractured, repeated abuse by foster mum linked to crying, says acting KL police chief
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 — Police have confirmed that a seven-month-old baby girl found dead at a home in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Cheras, last Thursday died from multiple injuries across her body. Acting Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said a post-mortem revealed the infant had suffered a fractured skull. He said the injuries and death were the result of ongoing abuse over the past month. 'Investigations revealed that the injuries were caused after the baby cried incessantly, leading the foster mother to allegedly abuse her,' he told Utusan Malaysia. He added that the woman's husband works as a salesman, while she is a homemaker. 'Further investigations are ongoing to complete the case file,' he said. Earlier, the couple was arrested after the baby was found unconscious, with bluish skin and bruises on her body, in the living room of their home. A man lodged a police report at 9.34pm, claiming his adopted daughter had lost consciousness for unknown reasons. Following the report, police arrested the 38-year-old woman and her 50-year-old husband under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 (Act 611). The foster mother also tested positive for drugs. Initial investigations found that the baby had been under the woman's care since 18 June, after her biological mother returned to Indonesia.
