Woman, 25, mistaken for her 59-year-old mum's SISTER slams trolls for ‘nasty, awful comments' about her appearance

A WOMAN, 25, mistaken for her 59-year-old mum's sister has hit back at the brutal online trolls. Beauty buff Coco Pons went viral on TikTok earlier this month after she shared an adorable make-up video with her mum, 59, before heading to a wedding. 2 2 In the video, which has since racked up close to 7million views, the wholesome mother and daughter duo could be seen doing their make-up and hair. But while the two stunners looked incredible both with and without the glowy make-up, the clip, unfortunately, landed on the so-called 'wrong side of TikTok'. Hiding behind their profiles, thousands of online trolls flooded to comments, where many said Coco looked ''the same age'' as her mum - who is more than 25 years older. While some wondered if the two were ''sisters'', others dubbed the cute duo ''older twins'', as they begged Coco to start using '' sunscreen ''. Meanwhile, some brutal viewers refused to believe the daughter was 25 - and others shared their unsolicited beauty tips to ''look younger''. After reading the thousands of ''awful and nasty'' comments about her looks, the US-based TikToker posted a follow-up message hitting back at the meanies. Sharing a series of snaps of herself and her mum, Coco said: ''I've never had anything done to my face because I felt like it wasn't necessary. ''I've always had freckles and pale skin because I'm a ginger,'' said Coco who posts under the username @ curatedbycoco___. Coco, who's always sported ''blonde eyebrows '' trolls urged her to dye ''darker'', added that she's also using sun cream - despite what some may think. ''I have, wear a tonne of sunscreen because I live at the beach - and I've never entered a tanning bed in my life.'' I've lost 9 stone & am barely recognisable from my former self - my transformation's so insane people even think it's AI She went on: ''I don't remember asking others for opinions. And I couldn't care less what random people think about us. ''Keep your comments to yourself next time speaking about someone looks,'' Coco urged everyone to be kinder in the caption. The latest video has since taken the internet by storm, amassing more than 8million views and over 535k likes. Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing? A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair. This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also: Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin's elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin. Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion. One fan said: ''PEOPLE ONLINE ARE MISERABLE!!!! You're beautiful!'' Someone else chimed in: ''you're just a happy person with smile lines why is everyone so mean.'' A third commented: ''You are STUNNING. Unsolicited opinion, I think if you filled in your brows darker it would have a youthful effect. But truly you look your age and are gorgeous.'' Meanwhile, another wrote: ''As a fellow ginger we are more prone to sunburn which means drier, wrinkle prone skin.

Reds DFA Jake Fraley, recall fellow OF Will Benson

August 17 - The Cincinnati Reds designated outfielder Jake Fraley for assignment prior to Sunday's game against the visiting Milwaukee Brewers. Cincinnati recalled outfielder Will Benson from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move. Fraley, 30, was batting .232 with six homers and 23 RBIs in 67 games this season. Fraley hyperextended a knee during Saturday's game against the Brewers but was cleared medically Sunday prior to the transaction. Fraley was in his fourth season with the Reds. He batted .260 with 38 homers and 142 RBIs in 362 games with Cincinnati. "I don't really think there's ever an easy one, regardless of how guys are, because you're making decisions that alter their lives, and it's a big deal and we take it that way," Reds manager Terry Francona said. "Not that I need an excuse to lose sleep last night, but you do think about it the whole time. I think the day when I stop thinking about it, I'll re-retire." Overall, Fraley has a .247 career average with 47 homers and 179 RBIs in 459 big league games with the Seattle Mariners (2019-21) and Reds. Benson, 27, is batting .224 with nine homers and 32 RBIs in 61 games with Cincinnati this season. He has 34 homers, 106 RBIs and a .226 average in 325 games over the past three seasons with the Reds. Cincinnati also recalled right-hander Connor Phillips from Triple-A Louisville and optioned left-hander Joe La Sorsa to the same affiliate. Phillips, 24, was 1-0 with a 7.20 ERA in four relief appearances for the Reds earlier this season. La Sorsa, 27, is 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA in five appearances for Cincinnati. --Field Level Media

BMW Championship: MacIntyre recovers from shaky start to lead Scheffler by two

Update: Date: 19:46 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (4) Bob splashes it out of the sand and manages to stop the ball a few feet from the hole. Yet again, he has another huge par putt to come. Update: Date: 19:45 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (4) A truly sensational approach from Scheffler from the middle of the fairway. It lands around seven feet from the fifth pin, with just a hint of spin on the ball to stop it on the button. MacIntyre, who is on the right of the fairway, has to fly a bunker to find the pin that's tucked in the back right corner. He finds the sand, unfortunately. It rolls back down the face though, which will help. Update: Date: 19:38 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (4) A fairway-finder with the driving iron for MacIntyre on the fifth. A steady shot after a frenzied start to his round. Scheffler takes the same club and also finds the middle of the fairway. Update: Date: 19:35 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (4) Oaft, a good try from Bob. His birdie putt just falls on the short side, he can kick that in for par. Similar story for Scheffler's putt as they both walk off the par-five fourth with a par apiece. Update: Date: 19:32 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (3) Solid approach from the Scot, he's got another birdie putt coming up. Nothing fancy there, just a smart wedge play. Scheffler's shot then fizzes out from the rough, it's a challenge to generate any spin, and it careers through the green and comes to a halt on the first cut. Update: Date: 19:28 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (3) Bob gets it out of the bunker, laying up is the only option here, though. He gets it right down there and in the short stuff. Up next is Scheffler, who gives it a right old thwack, stepping through it and chasing after it. It flies a mile but takes a dive into the right rough. Update: Date: 19:25 BST Title: Post Content: Fleetwood -8 (6) Tommy Fleetwood rolls in a confident putt to move within six of the lead. Update: Date: 19:25 BST Title: Get Involved Content: How are the nerves so far? Send us your thoughts here. Update: Date: 19:22 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (3) You need around 315 yards to carry the bunker down the left of the fourth fairway. Bob MacIntyre's drive splashes in the sand, just a few yards short of carrying it. Scottie Scheffler then drives over the sand but finds the left rough. A decent lie for either would be a huge advantage. Update: Date: 19:20 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -12 (3) That decent look at birdie for Bob agonisingly slips past, and he tidies up for par. Scheffler's birdie putt comes up shorter than he'd have liked before his par putt lips out. An unforced error from the world number one. A two-shot lead once again. Update: Date: 19:18 BST Title: Team USA check-in Content: The top six players on the Team USA qualifying list will be locked in after play concludes tonight. Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, and Xander Schauffele are already qualified. Russell Henley, Bryson DeChambeau, and Harris English will be there too, as it stands. Update: Date: 19:12 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -13 (2) The downhill par-three third next. 202 yards. Eight iron for both. Scheffler plays it safe and finds the middle of the awkwardly slanted green. MacIntyre responds with a laser to seven feet and a decent look at birdie. That is more like it. Update: Date: 19:11 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -14, Scheffler -13 (2) Ach. Bob's par putt rolls by the hole. He cleans up for bogey. Scheffler makes par, and it's a one-shot lead now. Just like that... Update: Date: 19:10 BST Title: Where did Bob already win on the PGA Tour? Content: Two PGA Tour wins already for Bob, both coming last year. At the 2024 Canadian Open, he held off a host of challengers to win his first PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open, with his dad caddying for him. He started with a four-shot lead here... just saying. He followed that with "the one he wanted" in the 2024 Scottish Open. Here, he staged a late surge to glory at the Renaissance Club. He is no stranger to the pressure he will be feeling. MacIntyre celebrates his Scottish Open win Update: Date: 19:07 BST Title: Post Content: Aberg -10 (3) Ludvug Aberg misses a seven-foot birdie putt as he looks to apply some pressure to the final pairing. Update: Date: 19:07 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -15, Scheffler -13 (1) MacIntyre hacks it out from the rough, and it skips across the green before rolling back a few feet. It's been an inauspicious start to say the least. He's got a long, long look for par. A few jeers from the American crowd for that one, too. Scheffler rolls his lengthy birdie attempt to within kick-in range. Update: Date: 19:05 BST Title: What are the FedEx Cup play-offs? Content: The BMW Championship is the second of three events that make up the FedEx Cup playoffs. A season-long points total boils down to the top 70 players making the first event, then the top 50 making this week, and the top 30 making next week's tournament. It's the elite of the elite going at it for big money and prestigious trophies, as they determine the FedExCup champion. In last week's event, Justin Rose beat JJ Spaun in a nail-biting play-off to win the St Jude Championship, his first PGA Tour title in more than two years. Next week we have the Tour Championship, with circa $10m going to the winner. Whoever wins tonight will bank $3.6m. Decent work if you can get it. Scheffler has already won roughly $20m in tournament prize money this year Update: Date: 19:03 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -15, Scheffler -13 (1) MacIntyre has a decent angle from the rough, but it flies over the green, and he's left himself short-sided in the rough. Scheffler keeps his foot down and sticks it on the safe side of the green. Efficient golf. Update: Date: 19:02 BST Title: Post Content: MacIntyre -15, Scheffler -13 (1) Scheffler flushes it down the second fairway. MacIntyre misses the fairway again. It's in the rough. It's a tricky hole, the second. Update: Date: 19:00 BST Title: Get Involved Content: MacIntyre -15, Scheffler -13 (1) As fans of Scottish sport, this could end up feeling very Andy Murray-esque for us all, aye. This will go down to the wire. It will be amazing to watch, and Bob will win on the last hole. Eddie
