Whilst the hair goes through a natural cycle, with it being normal to lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, any more and it starts to become a concern.
Several shoppers who have experienced hair loss for a variety of reasons are claiming to have found a product that is brilliant at stimulating new hair growth.
The Weleda Rosemary Revitalising Hair Tonic is usually £13.95 but is currently on offer for £10 at Boots.
Holland & Barrett also sell it for £15.95.
It's a "natural treatment against hair and scalp problems, hair loss, thinning or brittle hair, dandruff and dryness".
The product description reads: "Used for centuries to stimulate the circulation, rosemary helps restore the health of the scalp, while stonecrop and horseradish extracts work together to discourage microbial development and reduce inflammation."
The benefits are said to be:
Strengthens hair, invigorates scalp and nourishes hair roots
Reduces hair loss and promotes hair growth
Uplifting rosemary scent, suitable for men and women
Dermatologically tested, certified natural hair care
Free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, colourants or raw materials derived from mineral oils
But what do customers think?

How long does it take for hair to grow back?
Hair grows, on average, half an inch a month. You cannot speed this up.
Do rosemary oil and scalp massages work?
Oils do not promote hair growth. In terms of rosemary oil, the current trend stems from one small study carried out on 50 men in 2015. No women were involved, and the study compared the effects of 2 per cent minoxidil to Rosemary oil. 2 per cent minoxidil doesn't do much for
male pattern hair loss anyway, so the results were not very impressive. Oils do serve a purpose in conditioning hair treatments though. They help add shine and smooth the hair cuticle to lock-in moisture and improve combability. Scalp massages alone won't cure hair loss, but it can help relax you, aid in lymphatic drainage, exfoliate and help topicals penetrate.

I use this at night and it leaves my skin hydrated and plump!" One shopper had reservations about the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum however writing: "I've been using this for a few nights now, not really noticed a difference as its early days but why doesn't it have a nice smell? I'm not impressed that they didn't factor a scent whilst developing this product with an astonishing price tag." However others love the serum, saying: "Keeps my skin feeling soft and looking younger; at 60 I need all the help I can get! If I don't use this serum as part of my bedtime routine my skin has more visible fine lines, texture appears drier, pores seem more obvious and it looks tired. "The good condition of my skin is frequently commented on which is flattering and encouraging. Only a small amount of serum is required so a bottle lasts a while. Yes, I've tried other products but always come back to this. Great product, it works for me." Another said: "Love it. I'm almost 50 have no wrinkles yet. I've been using this product for three years now."

Users say there's 'no more fuss with waxing or shaving' when using the device Hair removal can seem like an endless task, so it's no surprise there are a lot of products on the market that claim to help make it easier, but a lot of them come with a pretty hefty price tag. Until now, as one retailer adds discounts on devices in time for summer. Amazon has cut the price of the Braun Silk-épil 9 Flex SkinSpa Epilator down to £159.99, a massive 57% saving from its usual price of £369.99. The product features a 360-degree flexible head, along with a mini shaver, exfoliation brush, massage pad, and can be used both wet and dry. It's said to be able to cut hairs as short as 0.5mm, and that one use will achieve 'an entire month of smooth skin.' The head contains 40 tiny tweezers, and it can run for up to 50 minutes on one charge. It also has two modes - gentle and power. If you're looking for an alternative, Boots has the Panasonic ES-EY90 five-in-one full body epilator kit for £134.99 - £65 down from its usual price of £199.99. It comes with a range of attachments, including a main epilation head with 'double-disc technology ', featuring 60 tweezers, able to cut hairs as short as 0.5mm. It can be used wet or dry and also includes a bikini comb, gentle cap, sonic scrub brush, shaver head, pop-up trimmer, and foot care head. It also features a pressure centre and can run for up to 50 minutes on one charge. If the idea of epilating doesn't appeal, LOOKFANTASTIC has a Silk'n 7 Light-Based Hair Removal Device for £349.30 - down 30 per cent from its usual price of £499. This can be used for the face and body, and includes three attachments, as well as a separate razor and a charging cable. It works by using light to open the pores and remove hairs at the root. Going back to the Braun epilator, it has a 4.7 out of five rating on Amazon. "It works better if you don't press too much on your skin, just gently and not too fast and your skin will be smooth in no time," said one customer. "I absolutely love it and I'm so glad I got it for myself. No more fuss with the waxing or shaving and red spots." Another said: "I love the way the head moves to your body as it gives you a much smoother finish. "Epilators do hurt, however, if you're used to using an epilator ,I think you will find this a lot more comfortable. I also found the smart sensor helpful too." Another users branded it "game-changing". However, some thought the effectiveness did not match its price: "It's uncomfortable to use and stings the legs for the rest of the day. Doesn't last one month, as after three days I had to shave my legs again. "Comes with a bikini line shaver. I cannot justify the price for this product as £370 is extortionate for a product I can only describe as being a value of at most £100."

Hundreds of thousands of people across England, Scotland and Wales could be entitled to this reduction without realising it, according to MoneySavingExpert (MSE). The average annual band D bill - the standard measure of council tax - stands at £2,280 per year in total - meaning being eligible for a council tax reduction could see households save hundreds of pounds annually. This comes after council tax bills were hiked in April, with nearly all councils pushing bills up by close to, or at, the maximum rate allowed. On average, council tax bills have risen by 5.1% over the past two years. This comes after news of state pension payment changes for August as people told to 'be aware' . That represents a £109 jump from last year and a 20% surge from five years ago when the average bill stood at £1,898. However, people who are classified as "severely mentally impaired" may be able to claim up to 50% off their bill - or in the most severe cases have the entire bill scrapped completely, reports the Manchester Evening News. According to the Government, there are two criteria a person needs to meet to qualify for the discount: They must have a certificate from a medical professional confirming that they're "severally mentally impaired" (i.e. GP) They must be able to prove they're claiming certain benefits The government does not define what it means by "severely mentally impaired" but MSE suggests there are several conditions that may qualify for the discount. According to MSE, the following conditions may qualify: Dementia (including Alzheimer's) Parkinson's Severe learning difficulties Multiple sclerosis Cerebral palsy Severe stroke Schizophrenia However, whether the discount is granted or not will depend on an individual's own circumstances and a diagnosis of one of the above does not necessarily mean the discount will be granted. MSE explains: "You can be diagnosed as SMI as a result of a range of conditions – which could include things like dementia, Schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis, having had a stroke, or having had an accident which permanently affects your intelligence and social functioning." "Many conditions can underlie being SMI, but no condition means a person is definitely also SMI. Being SMI is a doctor's diagnosis in its own right." To be eligible for the reduction, a GP must supply a certificate confirming that the patient is "severely mentally impaired". Under the law, a person may be classified as such if they have "a severe impairment of intelligence and social functioning (however caused) which appears to be permanent". READ MORE: HMRC warning as people risk fines with deadline fast approaching To be eligible for the reduction you must also be able to demonstrate you are receiving certain benefits, or in some cases, just that you are entitled to them. Eligible benefits may include: Attendance Allowance Universal Credit Disability Living Allowance Income Support Personal Independence Payment Additional details can be found on the website and local councils can provide complete eligibility requirements for the reduction on their websites. If you live alone then your council tax reduction will be 100% - meaning you won't have to pay any council tax. You could potentially receive a 50% discount on your council tax bill if you only live with individuals who are 'disregarded' from council tax - those not counted when determining the number of people in a household, such as individuals under 18, those on certain apprenticeship schemes, full-time students, live-in carers and diplomats. If you reside with one other individual who is not discounted, then you can obtain a 25% discount. Depending on the local council to which you pay your tax, you might also be eligible for back payments. As per MSE, some councils will retroactively apply the discount by six years, but each council has its own policy and they are not legally required to backdate the discount.
