KIDS DON'T LISTEN Mariah Carey reveals what her kids really think of her music as she finally shares new album details
MARIAH CAREY admitted that twins Moroccan and Monroe won't be rushing to order her 16th album Here For It All.
At an intimate event in central London, where Bizarre was the only press invited, Mariah said: 'Sometimes I hold back from playing my songs to my kids as they have their own taste.

'Roe loves Olivia Rodrigo, and Roc loves Sabrina Carpenter.'
But she has given them a preview of the record's title track, adding: 'Here For It All, it really moved me.
'That was one song I actually played for some people. It's one of my favourites.'
We were treated to a first play of the track, and can see why Mariah loves it so much — as she sounds better than ever on it.
She is trying her best to keep other details about the album under wraps and said with a laugh: 'You can't tickle much out of me. There have been many rumours.
'We might have a duet with Anderson Paak. It's like a Seventies R'n'B vibe. It's funky.'
Mariah, who performed at the royal estate Sandringham on Friday, added: 'There will probably be more remixes coming.'
The new album is due out on September 28 and comes seven years after the last one, Caution.
Mariah didn't hit the studio with the idea of making an album at first, and she revealed: 'I was working on some new songs then I was like, 'OK, I have four songs. That's cool, what are we going to do?'.'
She added: 'Finally, when we got to around six songs, I said, 'I think we can make this into an album'.'
Mariah Carey, 56, wears FOUR figure-hugging outfits and puts on leggy display as she headlines Brighton Pride
Rather than sitting on a pile of tracks like some artists do, Mariah said her songs are few and far between, saying: 'I really don't have thousands.
'Decided to go deeper'
'I have a good amount of songs though. I don't really let anyone listen to them until they are done, that's kind of the way it works for me.'
As with previous records, Mariah has acted as producer on the new album.
She said: 'I always loved vocals and I didn't realise that production was what I was doing. Even on my first album I was doing that.
'Then, working with different people and friends, I decided to go deeper into it and really start real producing.
'I listen back to my old music too — I think forward and I listen back.'
Mariah is staying tight-lipped about whether a tour is now on the cards. 'I dunno,' she said with a shrug. We will have to see about that. It is the 16th record. I am happy about that.'
As for her next album, Mariah is already brimming with ideas, adding: 'A deep cut record, that could definitely be a possibility.'
We're here for that, Mariah.

'Beware': Billy Connolly warns fans of scammers impersonating him online

Veteran comedian Billy Connolly has warned fans about scammers impersonating him online. The Scottish actor and TV presenter, 82, said his wife Pamela Stephenson had also been impersonated and reminded members of the public that the sound of his voice can be recreated with artificial intelligence (AI). In a message on his website, he said: 'Dear friends, I have learned that, unfortunately, online scam artists are targeting my fans and supporters. 'They are impersonating me, often reaching out to fans soliciting direct messaging. 'They create multiple deceptive social media and email accounts, and there could well be criminal intent. 'For the protection of all my fans and supporters, please be aware of the following: 'My official Facebook page – Billy Connolly – is my ONLY social media account. 'I do not have an Instagram, X, Snapchat, Telegram or any other social media account. My only website is 'I NEVER interact directly with fans or supporters, and would never suggest they direct message me, meet me, send me money or purchase goods directly. 'I do not sell memberships, fan cards, meetings. I will never suggest meeting personally or ask for personal information. 'If you are asked for any of the above, it is a scam. 'My likeness and the sound of my voice can be created by AI … so beware! 'My wife Pamela is also being impersonated, but please be aware that neither she nor any of my children have public social media accounts or pages. 'Please be safe everyone! Love and cuddles, Billy.' Criminals can use voice cloning technology to replicate a person's voice from just a few seconds of audio, which can be easily captured from a video someone has uploaded online or to social media. Deepfake images of celebrities are often used in scams and fake adverts featuring public figures were the most reported scam adverts reported to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in 2024. Mr Connolly, who was knighted in 2017 for services to entertainment and charity, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2013 and retired from live stand-up performances five years later, but has continued to record programmes and make TV appearances. His most recent projects include TV shows such as 2018's Billy Connolly: Made In Scotland, Billy Connolly's Great American Trail in 2019 and Billy Connolly Does… which began airing in 2022.
