Chelsea to hold Jamie Gittens talks with Dortmund in US with transfer expected to go through despite rejected £42m bid
CHELSEA are set to hold further talks with Dortmund over Jamie Gittens, according to reports.
The two sides are currently both in the USA playing in the Club World Cup.

Gittens, 20, was the subject of a £42million bid from the Blues earlier this month.
Dortmund rejected the offer for the former Manchester City youth star.
But according to The Telegraph, Chelsea are ready to come back in, with Dortmund valuing Gittens around £55m.
The two clubs are set for a face-to-face meeting during the tournament in the USA.
Gittens has a seven-year contract on the table from the Blues.
And Dortmund "expect Gittens to move to Chelsea", with the only current stumbling block the 20-year-old's fee.
Gittens - who spent time at Chelsea's academy - had spells with Reading and City's youth sides before moving to Germany and progressing into Dortmund's first-team.
He enjoyed a breakthrough season last term, netting 8 goals in 32 Bundesliga matches.
But Dortmund are happy to move on from Gittens, who does not fit naturally into new boss Niko Kovac's preferred system.
Bayern Munich are also said to be interested, with reports they c ould look to hijack any deal after losing out on Florian Wirtz to Liverpool.
Ten-man Chelsea blow lead in horror second-half collapse to lose 3-1 to Flamengo
Chelsea are eager to improve their wing options, with Christopher Nkunku looking set to leave Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca's side have been linked with a move for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine appears set on leaving Old Trafford, angering fans by posing in an Aston Villa shirt during his recent holiday.
Chelsea face Tunisian side Esperance Tunis in Philadelphia tonight as they continue in the Club World Cup group stage.
They lost 3-1 to Flamengo last time out following a routine 2-0 win over LAFC in Group D.

Boss Maresca admitted it had been "impossible" to train in Philly over the weekend as temperatures soared towards 40C.
He said: "It is almost impossible to train or to make a session because of the weather.
"I always try to avoid excuses. I always try to be honest. It's not about excuses, it's about reality.
"It's an excuse when it's not hot and we say that it's hot. That is an excuse. But if hot, it's hot.
"It's difficult to work with these temperatures but we are here and we are trying to do our best and we will try to win tomorrow."

I can't imagine Mullin in a different kit -Reynolds
Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds says he cannot imagine seeing Paul Mullin wearing a different kit after the striker completed a loan move to Wigan has joined the League One side for the 2025-26 season, but says he feels "sad" and "disappointed" to leave Wrexham having spent most of their promotion-winning campaign to the Championship on the says it will be strange seeing Mullin playing elsewhere, given the 30-year-old's huge contribution to the Red Dragons' rise from the National League to the second tier in successive seasons."I can't imagine seeing Mulls on loan and in another kit," said the Hollywood actor on social media."We wouldn't be where we are without his heart, skill and work ethic."We love you." Mullin scored 110 goals in 170 games in all competitions for Wrexham after joining from Cambridge United in 2021, but was axed from the squad altogether for the final few months of the 2024-25 campaign."It was sad to leave there how it's ended," Mullin told Wigan's website."That happens in football - you leave clubs - but just the way it's gone has been quite disappointing."But one door closes, another one opens. I'm ready for a new chapter." Many Wrexham fans remain puzzled why Mullin could not even make the bench in the final few months of last season, even after the January arrival of forwards Sam Smith and Jay supporters and pundits have been keen to pay tribute to a man who leaves - for now at least - with legendary status at the Stok Cae Wrexham midfielder Waynne Phillips saying Mullin is "one of the greatest to have worn the red of Wrexham"."So many happy memories in the four years, and I've been privileged to have commentated on so many wonderful moments," said the BBC Wales pundit."Like all Wrexham fans, I wish Paul Mullin all the very best."

Premier League winner odds: Premier League 25/26 title odds
The new Premier League season begins on 15 August, with the world's best football league returning for 2025/26 ahead of what promises to be a fascinating season in England's top flight. Millions of eyes will be on most popular league, and betting sites provide a raft of offers and markets including Premier League outright winner odds. Liverpool 's 20th top-flight title win last season ended a run of four titles on the spin for Manchester City, and these sides will surely be in the running in 2025/26 as Arsenal look to finally end a run of three consecutive second-place finishes while sides including Chelsea, Newcastle and more hope to mount an unlikely challenge. Though Manchester United have won the most Premier League titles since the competition's inception in 1992, they are years away from adding to that tally of 13, and neighbours Manchester City sit in second in that particular table with eight titles. And it's Liverpool who head into 2025/26 as the early favourites, while City and Arsenal are next in the minds of the bookies. The Reds started last season at 7/1 outsiders to win, while Leicester remain the most improbable winners with odds of 5000/1 ahead of their maiden title in 2015/16, This page will detail the latest Premier League odds for next season. We use the latest Premier League title odds from the best football betting sites to offer readers optimum value on wagering on the 2025/26 edition of the competition. Readers will find the top value on Premier League odds on this page, while we also have separate pages dedicated to a range of markets that are common on Premier League betting sites. Premier League Winner Odds Bettors can find the latest Premier League winner odds in this section. Manchester United remain the most successful side of the Premier League era, winning 13 titles between 1992 and 2013, though they have not come particularly close to a league-winning campaign since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of 2012/13. And it is noisy neighbours Man City who have taken over the reigns as the league's dominant side in recent years, in a run that coincided with the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager. City have won six titles under the Spaniard, including four in a row between 2020/21 and 2023/24, though they could only muster a third-placed finish last season as Liverpool won the league at a canter in Arne Slot's first season in charge. The success of the aforementioned managers shows that clubs need – above all – a blend of managerial nous and talented squads in order to win the league, so there is plenty of excitement to see which clubs will manage to find that combination in 2025/26. While recent seasons have seen City, Liverpool and Arsenal competing for the title, there is a feeling that other clubs, such as Chelsea or even Newcastle, could challenge next season.
