Wrexham proved to be a huge draw during Down Under tour
Matches against Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix have helped Wrexham for their first season in the second tier in over four decades - and these games drew attendances in excess of 100,000.
Amongst these figures were 37,000 for the tour opener in Melbourne and over 40,000 in Sydney.
Boss Parkinson told the club's YouTube channel: "I think that those two attendances say it all, really.
"I mean, it was absolutely incredible a sell-out for the game in Sydney, 37,000 in Melbourne and the amount of Wrexham shirts, scarfs, hats we saw around the ground, leading into the ground, is just absolutely mind-blowing, really, and I know the merchandise was sold out very quickly.
"So, yeah, that is something you've almost got to be here to kind of grasp that, the enormity of it."
Wrexham opened their tour with a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Melbourne Victory, confirmed by goals from Tom O'Connor, Ryan Hardie and George Evans.
Despite taking the lead via an own goal, the Reds lost out 2-1 to Sydney and it was Wellington who prevailed 1-0 in the final friendly of the tour.
Results were secondary in these games, with building up fitness for the start of the Championship season of primary concern.
"The games themselves, Melbourne, yeah, pleased with that one," added Parkinson.
"I felt we weren't at our best against Sydney. We looked a bit disjointed at times, probably still should have won the game, but the physical data was very high and I think, you know, in pre-season, that is the most important thing for us at this stage, that when we came away from the game, as much as we're frustrated with Ollie Rathbone's injury, obviously, there was a little bit of a quiet spell when we got back.
"You know, the positives was the data was high and where it needs to be at this stage of pre-season."
The matches Down Under will work towards getting Wrexham ready for their Championship season, which begins with the trip to Southampton, relegated from the Premier League, on Saturday, August 9.
