FAIRFAX, Va. (WMBD) — The Bradley Braves defeated the George Mason Patriots 75-67 in the National Invitational Tournament on Saturday.
The Braves (28-8) came into the NIT as the No. 3 seed and were led by Christian Davis and Corey Thomas, who combined for over half of the team's 75 points, scoring 21 points each.
Davis would also record four rebounds and two assists, while Thomas ended up pulling down 11 rebounds to go with his 21 points.
The Patriots (27-9) came into the tournament as the No. 2 seed and were led in scoring by K.D. Johnson, who scored 16 points.
Bradley's next game will be in the NIT Quarterfinal against the Chattanooga Mocs, who just came off a victory over the No. 1 seed, Dayton Flyers.
According to the NIT's X page, the Braves will host the Mocs at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Carver Arena.

Indian Hill standout sophomore athlete Devlan Daniel announced a football offer from the Miami Hurricanes on June 8. Daniel, a standout for the Braves as a football and baseball player, added the offer to others from Miami (Ohio), Toledo, Bowling Green and Liberty. In 13 games as a sophomore in 2024, Daniel rushed 258 times for 2,260 yards and 34 touchdowns. On defense, Daniel had 42 total tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a pair of interceptions.
