Illit's Japan fan concerts sell out
The quintet is hosting fan concerts under the banner of 'Glitter Day' in Yokohama and Osaka on Aug. 10-11 and Sept. 3-4, respectively, and tickets for all four events sold out. The band and agency have decided to accommodate more fans by selling additional seats from Wednesday.
Tickets for two Seoul fan concerts held last month also sold out.
The group has yet to officially debut in Japan, but its first Japanese-language single, 'Almond Chocolate' released in February, was the most-streamed song from an international female act in the first half of this year on Oricon, surpassing 50 million streams. The group's third EP, 'Bomb,' ranked second on Oricon's daily, weekly and weekly combined album rankings.

Enhypen's Japan single debuts atop Oricon chart
Enhypen's fourth Japanese-language physical single made a chart-topping debut on Oricon's Daily Single Ranking, selling over 300,000 copies on the first day. Seventeen to tour US in October
Pledis Entertainment announced on Tuesday plans for Seventeen's US tour. Nine of the group's 13 members will travel to five cities in the country — Tacoma, Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise and Washington D.C. — for 10 live shows from Oct. 11 to 30. The five-city trip will be part of its 'New_' international tour that will kick off in Incheon on Sept. 13. Following the American stages, the group will begin the Japan leg of the tour, with 10 performances across 4 major domes. In May, Seventeen celebrated its decade-long career with its fifth full album 'Happy Burstday,' which entered Billboard 200 at No. 2, its seventh back-to-back entry among the top ten on the main albums chart. The LP sold over 2.5 million copies and swept all major music charts at home as well as Oricon's Daily, Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings.

TXT renews record in Japan with 4th LP
Tomorrow X Together scored the top spot on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking with its fourth studio album 'The Star Chapter: Together,' according to the chart published on Tuesday. The album sold over 304,000 copies in the first week in Japan, surpassing its second LP in Japan, 'Sweet,' which notched the No. 1 spot on Oricon's Daily Album Ranking three times. With the new LP, the band has placed 12 consecutive albums atop the weekly chart, renewing the record it holds for the chart-topping streak for an international artist. The fourth LP is the second and final installment of its 'Star Chapter' series. It sold over 1.76 million copies worldwide in the first week and became the band's sixth million-selling album.
