Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith says she's glad Prince Harry met Meghan Markle and not her - after they both appeared on the same hit US TV show
A star of hit Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, Amanza Smith was once a 'briefcase girl' on US game show Deal or No Deal girl, just like the Duchess of Sussex.
But Amanza, 48, who is also an artist and model, says she is glad that Prince Harry met Meghan, not her.
'Meghan was on the show a season before me,' she tells me at the first British exhibition of her art works, at Grove Gallery, London.
'But now, looking at her journey, I'm glad I missed the boat. I don't think the Royal Family would want me married into it.
'I used to drink quite a lot, I have like 30 tattoos, I vape and I cuss like a sailor.'
Amanza adds: 'She can have him.'
Meghan held briefcase number 24 on Deal Or No Deal USA in 2006 and 2007, while Amanza took charge of number 19 in 2009 and case 20 in 2010.
The TV star, who launched her collection of paintings at Grove Gallery Palma in Mallorca this month, recently revealed she hopes to be successful in Europe so she can move to the UK on a semi-permanent basis.
And a potential switch to London isn't because she loves the grey weather, but Amanza admits she finds British men, who regularly appear on her Raya dating profile, attractive.
She said: 'I am pretty single right now. I am open to meeting somebody. I have been single for a minute.
'When I got out of the hospital I was dating somebody but that was a short-lived thing. I was highly medicated, and I don't know what happened there, I made a decision which wasn't so wise.
'I have been focused on my artwork because it's a new career. My plan is to sell so many paintings in the UK that they want me here every three months and I could just be international.
'I do like British guys. On my Raya profile it's always British guys or someone from Spain or Italy, just somewhere else not Los Angeles. Maybe I will meet someone while I'm in London or they will come to my exhibition.'
Last month, Amanza revealed how the Netflix cast really feel about boss Jason Oppenheim romancing a string of younger women.

The real estate agent told MailOnline that she and her co-stars, which include fellow Oppenheim employees Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, and Nicole Young, bear no judgment towards Jason, 48, whom they have all previously dated.
In an exclusive interview, Amanza teased the new season of Selling Sunset, based on the behind-the-scenes drama at LA brokerage The Oppenheim Group, will be even more explosive than the latest instalment – and she doesn't shy away from the action.
Since the end of series eight, which featured storylines like the breakdown of Chelsea Lazkani's marriage, Jason has entered a new relationship with model Jessica Vargas, who's also hired at the real estate agency.
The multimillionaire split from 27-year-old model Marie-Lou Nurk in 2023 and has since had flings with the likes of TikToker Danika Tanya and pro tennis player Genie Bouchard, 31.
But Amanza insists that the stars of Selling Sunset support Jason's active dating life and says the property tycoon has 'earned' his right to romance whoever he chooses.
She said: 'Jason is doing amazing and has earned his right to date whoever he wants. He's the hardest working man that I know and a total charmer.
'Look, I dated Jason, that came out in the reunion, everybody's dated Jason. He's a really great guy.
'He has a new girlfriend now called Jessica and we all absolutely adore her. She is beautiful and really intelligent and a great human.
The new series of Selling Sunset will see Amanza's return with Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Chrishell Stause, Bre Tiesi, Nicole Young and Mary Fitzgerald as well as twins Jason and Brett Oppenheim
Amanza, who is a single mother after obtaining full custody of her two children Braker and Noah, 'almost died' in 2023 following her diagnosis with a life-threatening bone infection
'He's particular, he always has beautiful young girlfriends, but they're not dummies, he's got a really good sense of taste for the women that he dates.
'We just cheer him on. Good for him.'
The mother-of-two, 48, added that the cast would be hypocritical if they judged Jason for dating younger women when Chrishell is married to Australian singer G Flip, 31, who is 12 years her junior.
She said: 'Nobody is telling anybody else in the office or watching the age of who someone else is dating. Chrishell's partner is a lot younger than she is, and everybody is cool with that.'

Reaping the rewards of his popularity, the Blackpool native has made sure that any money he's made from the show hasn't gone to waste. He's proved to be a shrewd businessman - especially when it comes to property. The Sun can reveal how the TV star has recently opened up his own investment firm Corgi Real Estate. He has also invested in a house in Fleetwood and an apartment in nearby Thornton-Cleveleys, each worth £80,000. Pete has also capitalises on any earnings he makes from his TV career by setting up Corgi Media Ltd. Pete can't quit his regular job as he gets just £1,500 for each episode of Gogglebox, which is split with Sophie, so it's only right when he once said 'I have got to pay my mortgage somehow.' Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford reveals he's become a dad for a second time Pete and Sophie first appeared on their sofa - and bright yellow chair - in 2017 for the 10th season of Gogglebox. They quickly became popular with fans of the show for their quick wit and hilarious interactions. Aside from his humour, Pete won fans with his emotional side that he is never afraid to show. The duo aren't the only Sandiford siblings - they have another brother and sister called Harry and Lucy who do not appear on the show. Despite his popularity on Gogglebox, Pete still finds fame peculiar. "I am just a builder from Blackpool, so it is a bit strange when celebrities know us, " he once said. "I was on a roof yesterday."

EXCLUSIVE Sir Bob Geldof launches a blistering attack on Elon Musk as he labels him a 'w***er' and a 'ketamine crazed fool'
Sir Bob Geldof has launched a blistering attack on Elon Musk labelling him a 'w***er' and a 'ketamine-crazed fool'. The Boomtown Rats frontman made the remarks at the opening night of Just For One Day: The Live Aid Musical at the Shaftesbury theatre in London's West End. The 73-year-old rocker took particular exception to Elon's cuts to the US aid budget during his time at the White House heading the Department of Government Efficiency. He also criticised the Tesla boss for his recent remarks when Musk said: 'The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy, the empathy exploit.' Firing back Bob took aim at Elon, he said: 'A couple of weeks ago, that prime wanker Elon Musk said something seriously wrong. He said the great weakness of Western civilisation is empathy.' 'The great weakness? You ketamine-crazed fool! You sociopathic loser! Empathy is the glue of civilisation. Empathy is the glue of humanity.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's how we do things together. It's how we sit here together and clap because we actually understand that this is the stuff that works. The musical, which has finished a run in Toronto, Canada last year, gives 10 per cent of its ticket revenues to the Band Aid charity and has already raised almost £1 million. Bob said: 'The money these people have raised has already - in the place that was the epicentre of the famine in 1984 - they've already built hospitals and schools and stuff like that with the money by doing their job tonight. That's what they've achieved.' The musician then turned his sights on President Trump for his decision to remove funding for USAid on February 1, and Prime Minister Starmer for cuts to overseas aid spending. Bob said: 'On the February 1 this year, the strongest nation in the world, the most powerful man on Earth, and the richest person ever in the history of the planet decided to declare war on the poorest, the weakest, and the most vulnerable people on the planet. I despise them.' 'The net result of that is that Boston University, and reported in the New York Times, is that since February, because they cut out overnight when US Aid websites went dark and fired everyone. 'Since that day a couple of months ago, 300,000 people have died because of Musk, because of Trump, because of Vance. and Marco Rubio is lying when they say people have not died. 'When they say they are sending food to the starving children of Sudan, who are being held captive and starved to death. 'That's a lie. They are not. So it's down to us to scrape together a million quid. The Irishman said it was a 'great shame' that Keir Starmer had cut aid budgets. He added: 'It can't work like that. It doesn't have to work like that. And it began not working like that in 1985. 'This is Great Britain. This country can do anything. It led the way for many years, and times are really tough. Believe me. Times are really hard, but we don't let ourselves go. And these people aren't, and you didn't tonight.' In the new musical Sir Bob is played by Craige Els, who the rock star described as 'amazing' for the portrayal of him as a 'cartoon arsehole in double denim just saying 'f***', basically'. Live Aid, was originally held in Philadelphia as well as at Wembley Stadium on 13 July 1985, and has been turned into a stage musical. Titled Just For One Day, the musical relives the day when the likes of Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Who, U2, Queen, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross and more united on stage to raise funds and awareness for the Ethiopian famine crisis. The plot of the production, which takes its name from a line in David Bowie's song Heroes, combines a behind-the-scenes look at how Band Aid and Live Aid came together with a love story inspired by real events.
