7 Brew drops new drive-through coffee stand in Marshfield, expected to open this fall

MARSHFIELD − You likely noticed a new building pop up along North Central Avenue Friday. 7 Brew dropped a new drive-through coffee stand Aug. 15 at its location at 1600 N. Central Ave., the site of the former Rose Bowl Lanes in Marshfield. Franchisees Jonathan and Kayla Lippincott told the Marshfield News-Herald in May they hoped to open the coffee stand in October or November of this year. The coffee stand will be in between the Tidal Wave Auto Spa car wash that opened in June 2024 at 1510 N. Central Ave. and House of Heating Inc. at 1602 N. Central Ave., across the street from Festival Foods. According to a company spokesperson, 7 Brew offers over 20,000 unique drink combinations. From the original Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, to 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas, there is something for everyone at 7 Brew, she said. The Marshfield location will employ about 50 workers; those interested can apply at 7 Brew, which started in 2017, currently has more than 450 coffee stands across the country and eight locations in Wisconsin – Appleton, Bellevue, Eau Claire, Brookfield, Kenosha, La Crosse, Mount Pleasant and West Bend, according to its website. 7 Brew is also building a new drive-through coffee stand at 225421 Rib Mountain Drive in Rib Mountain as part of a new development with Chipotle and Chick-fil-A restaurants. The Lippincotts said they anticipate opening the Rib Mountain 7 Brew location this fall, as well. Editor Jamie Rokus can be reached at jrokus@ or follow her on Twitter at @Jamie_Rokus. Site approval delayed for Arsenal Street coffee stand

Aug. 8—WATERTOWN — Approval for a proposed 7 Brew coffee drive-up stand on Arsenal Street was delayed on Tuesday until the franchisee can work out some details for the project. The Watertown Planning Commission on Tuesday took no action on the site plan but approved a lot subdivision for the 510-square-foot hot and cold beverage stand at 1068 Arsenal St. The company will be back before the Planning Commission, which is expected to approve the site plan. The city's Planning Department has some concerns about drainage and the entrance into the site of the stand. The Arkansas-based 7 Brew still hopes to be serving up espressos and other hot and cold beverages at the drive-up stand early this fall. 7 Brew would serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, Italian sodas, smoothies, shakes, energy drinks and hot chocolate. No food is offered. There are no seating accommodations inside. Customers can expect to get their beverage within three or four minutes of their order. Employees would meet them in one of two serving lines and then deliver the beverage at the vehicle without actually going up to a drive-up window. Between four and six people would work during each shift. The company would lease the property from 1068 Arsenal St. RE LLC, a Rochester-based car wash company that purchased the vacant parcel four years ago. As part of the subdivision, the company also plans to reduce the parcel from 160-foot frontage to 140 feet with a subdivision process, culminating in a 0.99-acre lot. Franchise partner Larry Adler said work is expected to begin in the fall, and the opening date will depend on the weather. The company currently owns 7 Brew locations in Syracuse, New Hartford, Rome, near Albany and Johnstown, with another opening in Schenectady next month. Further expansion is planned in the state.
