Neither Mukesh Ambani nor Gautam Adani, this man owns India's most expensive number plate; its price will shock you, he is..., business is..
For many, owning luxury cars is a dream. Often, several celebrities and businessmen in the country are in the news due to their luxury cars. In addition, they also have their respective VIP number plates or registration numbers, which add to their prestige. You may have heard about stars like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shah Rukh Khan, and Mukesh Ambani with special number car plates. However, did you know that the country's most expensive number plate does not belong to those stars? The title goes to Venu Gopalakrishnan, a tech company CEO from Kerala. The CEO of Litmus7, Venu Gopalakrishnan, recently added a new luxury car to his car collection. He bought himself a Lamborghini Urus Performante priced around Rs 4 crore. But what has caught everyone's attention is not the car itself, but it is the number plate. His car has the registration KL 07 DG 0007. If media reports are to be believed, Venu paid Rs 45.99 lakh for the unique plate, which is so far the most expensive number plate in the country. This extravagant purchase has made history in the state of Kerala as the highest vehicle registration number price ever. On April 7, 2025, the Kerala Motor Vehicles Department held an online auction in which Gopalakrishnan, the founder and CEO of Kochi-based Litmus7 Systems Consulting Pvt. Ltd., an IT company, acquired the highly coveted 007 registration number, which is popular among car enthusiasts. The bidding for this number began at Rs 25,000 and went higher quickly on the register bid to break our record. The '0007' number – reminiscent of the famous James Bond code – gives Gopalakrishnan's new purchase an exclusivity. The lime-green Lamborghini Urus Performante priced approximately at Rs 4 crore, is reportedly the first of its kind in Kerala. Gopalakrishnan took to Instagram to share a video of his new luxury car. Gopalakrishnan is known for his collection of luxury vehicles, which includes a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and a BMW M1000 XR bike. His latest purchase represents the growing trend of personalizing luxurious vehicles with unique registration numbers, which are often regarded as status symbols.

Trees replace waste pile at STP, NGT closes case
Noida: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has disposed of a case on waste dumping at Madhuban Bapudham STP after the Ghaziabad civic body confirmed the garbage was cleared within a year and replaced with plantations. About 61,000 metric tonnes of waste had been dumped in the open residential area of the society by GMC last year at the site in question, owing to the lack of road access to the processing site due to the Kanwar Yatra. Disturbed by the filth and stench, the society filed an application with NGT on Aug 17, 2024, seeking a direction to the corporation. The matter was disposed of by the tribunal on Aug 5 after being apprised of the remedial measures. The GMC, in its affidavit filed on July 26, stated, "Pursuant to the directions of this Tribunal and in discharge of our municipal responsibilities, the Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam has fully cleared all solid waste from the site in question. As of today, no waste remains deposited at the site. After the clearance of the waste, the land has been restored and further developed by the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA). The GDA, in collaboration with Nature Monks Foundation, has undertaken and commenced Miyawaki Plantation on the said site to ensure ecological restoration. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like List of Best Free Live TV Apps For Android 2023 - Best Software Categories Fragman-Best Softwares Search Now Undo " You Can Also Check: Noida AQI | Weather in Noida | Bank Holidays in Noida | Public Holidays in Noida | Gold Rates Today in Noida | Silver Rates Today in Noida Malak Bhatt and advocate Samridhi, counsels to the civic body, added that the land is under the jurisdiction of the GDA and is not owned by the GMC. "The corporation has not made any use of the land post-clearance of the waste," the counsel said, adding that "no further waste dumping will take place on the said land and that in future, alternate arrangements will be made in case of similar exigencies, in coordination with GDA and other concerned authorities. " The principal bench of the tribunal, comprising chairperson Justice Prakash Srivastava and expert member Dr A Senthil Vel, noted that both GMC and UPPCB filed their replies in response to the notices issued to them by the tribunal on Aug 27, 2024. The GMC commissioner in his Dec 3 response wrote, "Out of the said waste, 29,287 metric tonnes were already lifted and shifted to the Bhikanpur processing site, and the remaining balance of 31,713 metric tonnes is expected to be shifted and disposed of by Jan 2025." As the applicant expressed satisfactory redressal of his grievance, the tribunal decided to dispose of the original application 1090/2024 with a direction to the GMC to ensure that no further dumping of waste in the open is done.
