Al Numani receives envoys

During the meeting, Al Numani and the Syrian Ambassador discussed the latest developments and ways to enhance existing cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Syrian Arab Republic.

AMMAN: Foreign ministers from Syria and Jordan and a US envoy met on Tuesday in Amman to discuss ways to support stability and security under the new authorities in Damascus, participants said. Jordan to host Syria-US meeting on reconstruction
AMMAN: Jordan will host a meeting between the United States and Syria to discuss the situation in the war-ravaged country and explore reconstruction efforts, Amman's foreign ministry said on Sunday. The meeting on Tuesday, which will be attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al Shaibani and US special envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack, "will discuss the situation in Syria and ways to support the process of rebuilding Syria on foundations that guarantee its security, stability and sovereignty", according to a statement. It is a continuation of discussions held between the officials in Amman on July 19 about deadly clashes in the Syrian province of Sweida. The violence between Druze fighters and Bedouins in July ultimately drew the intervention of government forces and tribal fighters who came to support the Bedouins, as well as the Israeli military, which carried out strikes in support of the Druze. Royal Office Minister meets ambassadors of Lebanon, Azerbaijan
MUSCAT: Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office on Sunday Albert Samaha, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty. Al Numani lauded the efforts exerted by the ambassador in enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation, wishing him success in his future endeavours. On his turn, the Lebanese ambassador expressed his appreciation for the cooperation that was extended to him. He also praised the depth of bilateral relations between Oman and Lebanon.
