The force said the men disguised themselves as tourists to "blend in with their surroundings" and avoid raising suspicions while breaking into rentals.
During other burglaries, they were spotted wearing masks and caps to avoid being identified on security cameras.
The pair are accused of carrying out at least nine night-time robberies in the popular southern Spanish city, police said.
The force added their haul could be worth over £550,000.

Their loot includes jewellery, luxury watches, electronic devices and cash.
They allegedly used a well-known technique to open doors, which involves inserting a sheet of flexible plastic between the frame and the lock's hatch.
During the investigation, local police revealed that the suspects targeted tourist blocks.
They would reportedly wait for tourists to leave the properties before breaking in.

Investigators said they may have used more sophisticated methods, such as "bumping" or "impressioning" - as some victims said they locked the door and found no signs of forced entry upon their return.
They scoped out the properties, police said, to determine when tenants or tourists were least likely to be inside.

Once inside the homes, the thieves took precautions to avoid leaving fingerprints or traces, police added.
The two suspects have been remanded in custody, and further investigations are underway.

Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey appears in court charged with five counts of rape
The Ghanaian midfielder, 32, has been charged with five counts of rape against two women, as well as a charge of sexual assault against a third woman. The alleged offences took place between 2021 and 2022, when he was an Arsenal player. Partey stood with his arms behind his back in the dock at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, wearing a black zip-neck jumper. The footballer, who gave his address as Potters Bar, showed no reaction as the charges were read out and was not asked to enter any pleas. The alleged offences include incidents of anal rape, the court heard. His bail conditions include that he cannot contact any of the three women and must notify police of any permanent changes of address or international travel. It comes amid reports that Partey is set to join Spanish club Villarreal. As bail conditions were discussed in court, Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring said: 'I understand he's no longer employed in this country and playing in Spain now.' Partey is due to appear at the Old Bailey on September 2. He was charged four days after leaving Arsenal when his contract expired at the end of June A spokeswoman for Arsenal Supporters Against Sexual Violence said they were 'profoundly disappointed' in the north London club for their handling of the matter. Speaking outside court, Honor Barbersaid: 'We never wanted to be in a situation where the club that we love and the club that has values that we believe in was playing, week-in week-out, a player who is now facing court appearances on six counts of sexual violence. 'We protested outside almost every home game last season because we wanted to disrupt the wall of silence that the club has put up around this issue, and we did that because we want to support our club and feel happy and comfortable supporting our club.' Members of the group held a banner which read 'Arsenal said: 'We do the right thing' then did nothing'. Barber said the group wanted Arsenal to publish their sexual violence policies, 'suspend anyone under investigation for sexual offences' and 'properly support the survivors'. London's Metropolitan Police said it first received reports of an allegation of rape in February 2022. Partey's lawyer Jenny Wiltshire previously said he 'denies all the charges against him', adding he welcomed 'the opportunity to finally clear his name'. He joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in 2020 in a transfer worth around £45m. The defensive midfielder signed for the Spanish club in 2012 and made 188 appearances, as well as going out on loan to Mallorca and Leganes. He played 35 games for the north London club in the Premier League last season, scoring four goals. Partey has also made more than 50 appearances for Ghana including at the World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations. An Arsenal spokesperson previously said: 'The player's contract ended on June 30. Due to ongoing legal proceedings, the club is unable to comment on the case.'

Britain's most stolen cars in 2025 revealed with 7 models belonging to the SAME brand – is yours on the list?
Find out if your motor is at risk GONE IN A FLASH Britain's most stolen cars in 2025 revealed with 7 models belonging to the SAME brand – is yours on the list? BRITAIN's most stolen cars of 2025 have been revealed – and shockingly, seven of the top 11 belong to the same car brand. In just six months, a staggering 23,189 vehicles were swiped by thieves. Advertisement 7 In just six months, a staggering 23,189 vehicles were swiped by thieves Credit: Getty 7 Range Rover Sport HSE has now fallen to 15th on the list, with 79 reported thefts this year Credit: Getty 7 An orange Vauxhall Corsa E Elite Premium electric car Credit: Getty 7 The Corsa remains one of the UK's most stolen cars, often targeted by thieves using keyless tech Credit: Getty But while the figure is still high, it's a big drop compared to previous years, with 61,343 cars stolen in 2024, and a massive 104,000 in 2023. The figures come from a Freedom of Information request submitted by The Mirror to the DVLA, revealing how many cars were reported stolen between 1 January and 1 July 2025. Leading the list is the Fiesta Zetec, a long-time favourite with UK drivers thanks to its affordability, smart design and solid performance. Experts at Cinch explained: 'Zetec is a step above Style, and you get quite a lot of bang for your buck, including alloy wheels and a heated windscreen. Advertisement "This car also gets a significant lighting upgrade, with stylish LED daytime running lights and front fog lights that illuminate individually when cornering. "The Zetec model also comes with the company's slick, easy-to-use SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system, which works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.' Right now, over 3,200 used Zetecs are listed on Auto Trader, with prices starting from just £695. That budget-friendly price tag, especially for younger or first-time drivers, could explain why the model remains so widely used and, unfortunately, so commonly targeted. Advertisement Watch as thieves use high-tech trick to swipe Mercedes in under 20 secs - as devices used in 40% of thefts to be BANNED According to the DVLA, 211 Fiesta Zetecs were stolen in the first six months of the year alone. Closely behind were the Fiesta Titanium Turbo (167 thefts), Fiesta Titanium X (165), and Toyota C-HR Dynamic HEV CVT (162). That makes three out of the top four most stolen models Ford Fiestas. Despite the worrying numbers, Ford says the figures need context. Advertisement 'Victims of its own success' A spokesperson said: 'The Ford Fiesta is a victim of its own sales success between 1976 and 2023. How to protect your car from thieves Wheel clamps are another great option that can prevent your car from being driven away. Again, they are highly visible as they are often sold in bright colours, and may deter opportunistic thieves looking for a quick and easy target. Traditional security measures are also considered when calculating insurance premiums. Rich Morley at Lancaster Insurance explains that, no matter what car you drive, classic or modern, traditional-style security measures can provide extra peace of mind and security for your vehicle, helping to deter thieves in the process. He added: 'When considering a risk profile, we will establish with customers any security measures they have in place to prevent potential theft." "There are more Fiestas on the road in the UK than most other makes and models, and therefore the total number of thefts is higher as a result.' They added: 'The Ford Fiesta is no more 'stolen' than many other types of cars including the VW Polo or Vauxhall Corsa if you look at the percentage of total registrations and not just the volume of thefts.' Elsewhere on the list, Toyota made an appearance – but other brands previously plagued by theft have dropped down the rankings. Advertisement Back in 2023, Land Rover was under fire after a spike in thefts left owners unable to get cover – especially in city centres. Car makers fighting back But after investing £17 million in security upgrades, including overhauling keyless entry systems on 300,000 vehicles, the Range Rover Sport HSE has now fallen to 15th on the list, with 79 reported thefts this year. Its parent company JLR also stumped up £1 million to help fund targeted police operations tackling vehicle crime gangs across the country. Toyota, meanwhile, has responded by rolling out extra security tech on popular models, such as immobilisers, GPS trackers, key blockers and protective plateskely. Chilling moment twisted rapist targets innocent teen in Dublin city after telling her he would help her find friends
THIS is the chilling moment evil Christopher O'Grady is caught on CCTV minutes after he had raped his innocent victim. Our exclusive image shows him leading Claudia Pelegrina Salcedo into a Londis shop on O'Connell Street just after the brutal attack. 5 A picture taken of Claudia in Dublin the night before she was raped Credit: Gary Ashe-Commissioned by The Sun Dublin 5 O'Grady, 33, leading Claudia, now 26, away from dozens of people before he raped her 5 CCTV shows him leading Claudia Pelegrina Salcedo into a Londis shop on O'Connell Street just after the brutal attack And another CCTV image shows O'Grady, 33, leading Claudia, now 26, away from dozens of people during New Year's Eve celebrations in Dublin on January 1, 2019, before he raped her. Seconds earlier, the predator, from Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Co Louth, offered to help the vulnerable Spanish tourist when he said: 'I'll take you to meet your friends.' The rape victim had asked O'Grady to show her the way to the River Bar on O'Connell Street. The CCTV footage showed the rapist placing one arm behind her and one in front as she struggled to stay on her feet. Instead of helping Claudia, who was just 19 at the time and under the influence of alcohol, the sex beast walked her in the opposite direction to the back of Dublin Castle before raping her. Following the horrific attack, O'Grady then casually brought her back into Dublin City Centre. She only managed to escape his clutches when a woman came to her aid and offered to help her. But he's no longer a threat to women after he received a seven-year sentence, with six months suspended, at the Central Criminal Court, last Thursday. He was later identified from CCTV by the Garda team at Pearse Street, led by Sgt Eoghan Kirwan, Det Garda Sonia Skelly, Det Garda Michael Moore and Det Garda Des Rodgers, under the command of ex-Supt Joe Gannon. Former Supt Gannon described the CCTV footage as 'deeply sinister'. He said: 'This was nothing more than a predatory attack in which a young woman was deliberately targeted because she was under the influence of alcohol. 'The footage clearly shows O'Grady's intentions that night and he was guiding her away from the crowds for the sole purpose of raping her. 'The young girl needed assistance to stand and here he was placing his hands on her back and also in front of her so he could walk her to an isolated spot. 'The CCTV was important in this professional investigation and thankfully justice has prevailed.' I now just want to put this nightmare behind me and focus on my future." Claudia Pelegrina Salcedo Rachel Morrogh, Chief Executive of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, praised Claudia over her decision to come forward. Ms Morrogh said: 'We commend the immense bravery of Claudia Pelegrina Salcedo who was raped by Christopher O'Grady and whose determination to seek justice resulted in a seven-year sentence. 'This case was particularly distressing because of the predatory nature of the attack, the dispassionate abuse of trust and the vulnerability of the victim. 'Young women should be able to have a realistic expectation that going out and enjoying themselves is a safe thing to do. "Yet, time and again, we see that there is still a long way to go before that expectation becomes a reality.' LAUGHING & JOKING AFTER ATTACK Our latest revelation comes after we published CCTV footage of O'Grady laughing and joking after the attack. His brave victim returned to Ireland for his sentence but is now back in her native Spain. In an exclusive interview with The Irish Sun, Claudia, who waived her right to anonymity as part of her efforts to help other victims, is now focused on trying to rebuild her life. She said: 'I now just want to put this nightmare behind me and focus on my future. 'If people in Ireland are suffering, then I would encourage them to come forward, because justice can prevail.' 5 Claudia waived her right to anonymity as part of her efforts to help other victims Credit: Gary Ashe-Commissioned by The Sun Dublin
