A man has shared his disgust at the huge pile of rubbish in his neighbour's garden
Credit: Reddit
Irritated by the jaw-dropping eyesore, which he can see when looking out of his window, the anonymous man uploaded a picture of the shocking mess.
Posting on Reddit on the r/BadNeighbors thread, the man wrote under the username @pigeonmanO_o and simply penned: 'This is my neighbours' garden.
'It's literally just trash.'
Not only is this man's neighbour's garden full with endless black bin bags exploding with recycling, but there's even a broken chest of drawers, a swimming pool full of shopping bags, an old mattress and a broken fan.
There's also takeaway boxes, McDonald's cups, beer cans, camp chairs and garden tools.
And as well as being a total state, the Reddit poster then claimed: 'They refuse to clean it.'
But if you thought that was bad, think again, as the man also acknowledged that his neighbour's dogs are eating from the endless bin bags of waste.
He admitted: 'What's worse is that they have two dogs who are always eating from that heap of trash.'
Eager to get the mess cleared up, the man confessed: 'They rent it so I called the owner and they should sort it out.'
Reddit users were left totally stunned by the wasteland, which some described as resembling a 'landfill' site.

Almost half of Brit couples say ‘what' more than ‘I love you'… and a 3rd argue a few times a week, survey finds
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A SURVEY of 2,000 adults in relationships found the common miscommunications that can result in arguments. "What?' is a more common phrase than 'I love you' among couples over 55, according to research. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Mis-hearings were found to be a common source of arguments among couples 3 Michael and Hilary Whitehall found hearing loss impacted their relationship A poll of 2,000 adults in relationships found nearly half of all couples (46 per cent) have fallen out because they haven't heard each other properly. While 28 per cent get into an argument a few times a week at least, over mis-hearings. And this leaves them feeling a range of emotions when not listened to – including frustrated (42 per cent), ignored (33 per cent), disconnected (19 per cent), and even unloved (11 per cent). This phenomenon also leads to a range of misunderstandings between couples – from simply getting the wrong gist of a conversation (34 per cent) to actually offending their partner (17 per cent). Read more News SCHOOL FEARS Pupils evacuated after school 'bomb threat' with parents sent worrying message And these miscommunications weren't one-offs – with a third being misunderstood by their significant other a few times a week or more. Specsavers, which commissioned the research, also partnered with beloved celebrity couple, Hilary and Michael Whitehall to cheekily cause drama by appearing to argue in a series of public stunts that show how Michael's hearing difficulties affect their daily lives. After some speculation, the couple have revealed in a Public Service Announcement video that Michael's undetected hearing loss was the source of many of these bickers. Michael said: 'I've always blamed our usual bickers on Hilary's mumbling. After a little persuasion, I had a hearing check at Specsavers and it turns out, I have a little bit of hearing loss... Who knew? 'The most romantic thing you can do … is booking a hearing check. Safe to say, missing half the conversation isn't ideal in a marriage. 'Now I've been fitted with hearing devices I've realised how much I was missing before – and the issues my hearing was causing.' What REALLY happened with Harry Styles' Glastonbury kiss - and which new celeb couples went public? Hilary said: 'For a long time I thought Michael was just ignoring me or not getting my jokes. 'Unsurprisingly, or at least not to me, Michael's hearing check identified a little bit of hearing loss. 'But now we know that's what's going on and he's got a hearing device, we're bickering less and laughing more.' The study also found couples ask each other to repeat themselves an average of four times a week – with a fifth doing so seven times a week or more. And just under half (48 per cent) reported having to at least sometimes shout to be heard by their significant other. Two in 10 went so far as to say they believe their partner doesn't listen to them when having a serious conversation – with most ignored topics including family issues (23 per cent), their feelings (22 per cent), and even problems in their relationship (16 per cent). As a result, 27 per cent admitted they have accused their better half of 'selective hearing'. With a third of those polled by OnePoll confronting their companions weekly, or more regularly, about not listening to them. In extreme cases, this has even resulted in 21 per cent walking away and leaving the situation – with 14 per cent saying they even stopped talking to their other half. When asked what might help ease these issues, respondents suggested being patient and understanding (35 per cent) and avoiding interrupting one another (27 per cent). Having a hearing check was also cited by 24 per cent of couples as a potential fix. In fact, at least one person in 14 per cent of couples have suggested the other book a hearing check. And nine per cent of couples have seen at least one of them diagnosed with hearing loss – allowing them to get the help they need. Relationship expert, Sarah Louise Ryan, added: 'Miscommunication in relationships is one of the most common issues I hear about in my couples practice. "For some, it's that they're having trouble expressing themselves, or that they don't have the tools to resolve a difference of opinion, but in many cases, it's a result of couples not hearing other correctly. 'This can cause marital tension, frustration, so if this sounds familiar in your relationship, don't put off seeking expert help.' Specsavers hearing expert, Sonam Sehemby, commented: '18 million adults in the UK have hearing loss and many don't realise that they are missing parts of the conversation. 'Since it develops gradually, people often wait up to ten years before seeking help. 'But when hearing loss starts to affect relationships, it's time to act – a hearing check can help couples reconnect and truly hear each other again.'

Aldi's £1.25 kitchen staple will eliminate English ivy from your garden & stop it creeping over neighbour's walls
Scroll down to find out the top gardening trends of 2025 NO OF-FENCE Aldi's £1.25 kitchen staple will eliminate English ivy from your garden & stop it creeping over neighbour's walls Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN expert has revealed a £1.50 hack to stop English ivy from overtaking your garden. English ivy is a charming-looking plant, which can make your outdoor space look like a serene haven. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Ivy can end up taking over your garden Credit: Getty 2 Bin bags can be use to dehydrate ivy Credit: Aldi However, it grows rapidly, and can end up overtaking your garden, and creeping over your neighbour's wall. Ivy can grow up to a whopping 30m tall, and produces aerial shoots that allow it to easily cling to walls, trees and fences. Tara Besore, who has a gardening blog called Hammer & Headband revealed how she successfully managed to prevent ivy from taking over her garden. She said: "Stopping it [ivy] seemed impossible, but eventually I got rid of every last ivy root and vine in my yard. "Here's what you need to know to remove English ivy for good." The gardening whizz tried cutting and pulling up the ivy and spraying herbicides on it, but found that neither of these methods worked properly. However, she revealed that solarisation worked a treat on even the densest patches of ivy. "It doesn't strain your back, and it doesn't require chemicals", she said. "All it takes is patience." To try out this hack, she explained that all you need is a black plastic sheet, such as a bin bag. Expert Gardening Hacks for a Pet-Friendly Summer Garden "After spending a summer getting nowhere with brute force, I turned to the solarisation method," Tara said. "This involves letting the sun scorch the ivy under plastic." Wrap your ivy in bin bags, and then secure it firmly with bricks or stakes. Tara explained that this method deprives the plants of water. Top gardening trends of 2025 Gardening experts at Barnsdale Gardens has shared the top gardening trends of 2025. Matrix planting It seems that a top planting trend for this year is going to be Matrix Planting. In essence, planting in groups or blocks to give an effect of being wild whilst actually being carefully managed. Selection of the plants is essential, to give year-round interest either with flowers, seed heads or frosted/snowy spent flower heads. Some recommend using plants that seed around, but this could make managing your matrix planting harder to keep under control. Chrysanthemum comeback I hope that the humble Chrysanthemum makes as much of a comeback this year as Dahlias have over recent years, because the simple single flowered types, such as 'Innocence' and 'Cottage Apricot' would be spectacular within a matrix scheme. The hardy varieties are so easy to grow in a sunny spot and give such a valuable burst of late summer and autumn colour that would lift any dull- looking border. Blended borders For some time now we have been promoting the growing of veg within ornamental borders and I think this could really take off this year. The choice of ornamental-looking varieties available in seed catalogues is phenomenal and, if managed correctly, visitors to your garden will not even realise that you have veg growing! Must-have tool My secret is out. I discovered the Hori Hori a couple of years ago and now it seems so is everyone else. It is such a well-made, adaptable tool that can be used as a trowel or weeding tool in the garden that and everyone I speak to who have used it absolutely would not now be without it. Enough said! "It cooks in the heat, permanently killing the ivy, the roots, and even the seeds so it can't grow back", she said. Once the ivy has turned brown and brittle, you can easily pull it up out of the ground and clear it away. Bin bags are super cheap, and you likely have them in your kitchen cupboard. If not, you can pick them up from Aldi for £1.25.
