Twitch creators warn other women after 'stalker' threatens to kill them during live video stream
Cinna, Valkyrae and Emiru, who have more than 3.6 million Twitch followers between them, were filming as part of a week-long marathon stream event they called "Sisathon" on Sunday night.
The livestream showed them walking towards Pacific Park on Santa Monica Pier, California, when they were approached by a man in a grey hoodie who said his name was Russell.
He stopped them and asked for a photo before Cinna, 28, said: "Yeah of course."
The man then asked if he can "hang out with them" before the Twitch streamer, whose real name is Brittany Lynn Watts, said they can't because they are on a "time limit".
The women then continued walking into the amusement park before the man appeared to head off in the other direction.
However, around 20 minutes later, the livestream showed the moment the women walked past the same man, who was now wearing different clothes, as he was crouched down next to one of the rides.
The Twitch streamers looked concern as the man asked Emiru, whose real name is Emily Schunk, for her phone number.
The 27-year-old quickly replied that she didn't have a phone before the man told the group: "I'm going to keep following her (Emiru)."
The women then walked off before looking frightened when he caught up with them minutes later.
The man was off-camera as Cinna said "get away from her" and stood between him and Emiru.
Valkyrae, whose real name is Rachell Marie Hofstetter, then started calling for security before the women screamed as the man ran towards them and shouted: "I'll kill you right now, I'll kill you right now."
The Twitch streamers then fled from the park before the video cut out.
In a separate video posted on Cinna's Twitch account on Monday, the streamer and Valkyrae gave a lengthy account of their ordeal.
Cinna told her followers: "We are very much in shock and we need you guys to know, that clip does not do it justice for how scary it was."
She added that Emiru is "safe" but needs time to "process it and stuff".
"It is an attempt on our life and we are taking it very seriously," Cinna told her followers.
She continued: "He said he was going to kill us, he kept trying to get something out of his pocket. We had to run into a store screaming that somebody was going to kill us."
Cinna added: "For those of you who don't know, we know he's a stalker. When he was behind us, he pulled up Emmy's TikToks."
Valkyrae posted on X after the ordeal that they were "OK" and had been with the police.
She also shared a post criticising people who accused the women of staging what happened.
Valkyrae wrote on X: "I hope other women and streamers learn from seeing this interaction and also be aware that this can happen to anybody."
Meanwhile, Emiru said in a post on X on Monday: "I wish I could say this was some kind of one in a million incident, but the truth is, it is not. This is what life is like for girls. I hope if anything, people see what happened and realize how much of a reality it is for women and content creators as a whole."
Santa Monica Police is said to have carried out a search for the suspect but were unable to find him.
The force has reportedly said it is "aware of the video footage" and is "reviewing the information that has been shared publicly".

A streamer known for taking part in extreme online challenges has been found dead. Raphael Graven, also known as Jean Pormanove or JP, died following a live broadcast at his home in Contes, a village north of Nice, on Monday. The 46-year-old reportedly endured '10 days and nights of torture' including 'extreme' physical violence and sleep deprivation beforehand. People watching his final stream are said to have raised the alarm after seeing him lying motionless on a mattress and not responding to any of their messages. French newspaper Le Monde reported that Graven was known known for taking part in videos depicting violence and humiliation. While he lay on the mattress, a man could be seen throwing a bottle of water at him. Government minister Clara Chappaz described the violence Graven suffered before his death as an 'absolute horror' and said he had been 'humiliated' for months as she announced a judicial investigation is now under way. Sarah El Haïry, the country's high commissioner for children, similarly said the streamer's death is 'horrifying' in a post on X. She wrote: 'Platforms have an immense responsibility in regulating online content so that our children are not exposed to violent content. I call on parents to exercise the utmost vigilance.' Graven's cause of death has yet to be determined, and an autopsy will take place later. He had more than a million social media followers and was particularly popular on Kick, which is seen as having less stringent user terms than those of its rival, the better-known Twitch streaming service. More Trending A spokesperson for Kick said the company is 'urgently reviewing the circumstances' around the streamer's death. They added: 'Kick's community guidelines are designed to protect creators, and we remain committed to upholding these standards across our platform.' Police in Nice have been looking into allegations of 'deliberate violence' against 'vulnerable people' that have been ending up as videos on the internet for the past eight months. That investigation was triggered by a report from French outlet Mediapart flagging the videos, which have amassed thousands of views on Kick. Michael Barrymore reveals epilepsy journey diagnosed after a series of mini strokes
Michael Barrymore reached out to fans for support in a heartbreaking TikTok video in which the comedian and TV presenter told of his mini strokes and "uncontrollable seizures" Veteran TV presenter Michael Barrymore has been diagnosed with epilepsy at 73 - after experiencing a mini stroke. The host, known for his work on game shows and light entertainment programmes, told fans on TikTok about his "uncontrollable seizures" which have happened as a result of his epilepsy. Epilepsy, a tendency to have repeated seizures which start in the brain, is often diagnosed in younger years but Michael said he has developed it in his 70s. And the star, who headlined the Royal Variety Performance in 1993, thanked fans for their support. In his emotional TikTok, Michael said: "A mini stroke caused me to develop epilepsy where I have uncontrollable seizures... I suffer from cluster seizures, which affects a quarter of people with epilepsy. It means I have more than one, usually three individual seizures in a short period of time." Carer dodges jail after performing sex act on disabled man at tourist attraction Now Michael, who grew up in Bermondsey, southeast London, must take emergency medication if he goes into a seizure. He continued: "It's scary because there's a 40% chance of going into epilepticus which causes brain damage and death without prompt medical attention. "I've had several attacks this year and have emergency medication at home if I go into a seizure. It doesn't really affect my life otherwise, but it would be nice to talk with other sufferers on here about it." The entertainer, an unlikely icon for Gen Z with his TikToks and vlogs, shared a series of photographs of himself in hospital. His video has been watched widely across TikTok and may users have left Michael messages of support. Michael's stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 - during which he came runner-up to model Chantelle Houghton - was his first major TV gig since his dismissal from ITV in 2003. This came following the death of Stuart Lubbock in 2001 following a party at Michael's home in Essex. But since the controversy, Michael has become extremely popular with Gen Z, particularly through his use of TikTok. He used it last year to poke fun at himself and he reflect on his past while celebrating his birthday. Yet the host, who also presented Kids Say the Funniest Things, has said in recent interviews the 2001 tragedy still affects him. In fact, last year, Michael left the UK for Spain to "change his life for the better". This is despite Michael never being charged in connection with 31-year-old Mr Lubbock's death, and there is no suggestion of wrongdoing on Michael's part.
