Following a two-game losing skid, Iowa State men's basketball has seemed to find its groove again.
On Saturday, the No. 10 Cyclones defeated No. 21 Arizona soundly, 84-67. Iowa State (22-7, 12-6 Big 12) will look to build on an already impressive resume with a key matchup against No. 22 BYU (21-8, 12-6), which has been on an impressive run with six straight wins.
Both teams enter play Tuesday tied for fourth place in the conference standings, trailing Texas Tech and Arizona by a game for second place. The top four teams earn a double bye in the conference tournament next week, which adds larger implications for this game.
