Young dancers from Rutherglen and Cambuslang are set to their country in the prestigious Dance World Cup.
Dance Elite Studio will represent Team Scotland and send 31 talented youngsters to the competition in Burgos, Spain.

From July 3 to 12, they will join 120,000 dancers from 73 countries showcasing 64 dance routines across lyrical, commercial, hip hop, jazz, acro, ballet and contemporary.

The Team Scotland kit, exclusively sponsored by Lenovo UK, was recently unveiled at their Cambuslang studio.
While Lenovo UK is the sole kit sponsor, numerous local businesses have also supported the team, including McKenzie Construction, ISG Flooring, Commsworld, Calculo, The Freight Club, The Ritz Bar, Taylor Wimpy, Pacitti Jones, Robert Bell Decorators, Synergy, Dickson Chemist, McGlad Flooring, Heartbox Scotland, Duffy Toshner and Norit UK.
Since qualifying in December, the dance school has embarked on a significant fundraising and sponsorship campaign, successfully raising an impressive £20,000 to support with the cost of attending such a huge competition.
Principal coach and owner Amy Hart expressed her gratitude, saying, 'We could never thank our sponsors enough for the support they have given us.
'Our team has worked tirelessly over the last six months, spending hundreds of hours in the studio week in and week out. I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication each and every one of them has shown.

'My team of dedicated coaches have worked very hard with the girls, and we cannot wait to see them all shine on the world stage.'

Amy Hart forced to cancel her holiday just hours before flight as son, two, suffers illness

Amy Hart has been forced to cancel her holiday just hours before her flight after her son came down with an illness. The former Love Island star, 32, who shares two-year-old Stanley with her husband Sam Rason, shared an update to her Instagram on Friday. Amy revealed that they had just five hours to go before their flight when Stanley came out in chickenpox. Sharing a photo of him, with a rash on his forhead, Amy wrote: 'Holiday booked, bags packed, fridge cleared out and food given away. 'Holiday cancelled. Chicken Pox five hours before we fly. Holiday cancelled. 'Just grateful we didn't get to out destination and then it happen! Lots of snuggles and films for the foreseeable.' While chickenpox is mild for most, and usually gets better on its own after 1 to 2 weeks without needing to see a GP, it can be serious in some people. It is highly infections and mostly affects children. The NHS advises anyone with the infection not go near newborn babies or anyone who's pregnant or has a weakened immune system, as chickenpox can be particularly dangerous for them. Complications include neurological problems and pneumonia. Amy exchanged vows with partner Sam in Spain last summer, a year after announcing their engagement and 18-months after they welcomes their son Stanley together. Sam got down on one knee while she was taking part in a shoot aboard the Excellence-class cruise ship Arvia for her P&O cruises podcast. Amy was invited into the theatre to watch the rehearsals when Sam surprised her by appearing on stage and proposed. Amy recently revealed the truth about her interview with her ex Curtis Pritchard as they starred on Love Island's podcast and fans called for her to be sacked. The reality star fronted the podcast for the All Stars series in March, where Curtis formed a romance with Ekin-Su Culculoglu, and speaking afterwards hit back at trolls who claimed she shouldn't have spoken to her ex. Amy and Curtis formed a memorable romance on Love Island in 2019, but she quit the show when he confessed his head had been turned in Casa Amor. Speaking to The Sun, Amy shared that her reunion with Curtis was far from awkward, and he had proudly shared his support for her when she landed the podcast gig. She said: 'Everyone was obsessed from the start about how awkward it was going to be for me to talk about Curtis. 'Asking ''what happens if we come face to face'' and I had to interview him? But unfortunately for everyone, we get on quite well. 'He was my easiest interview because I know him so well, I know how hard I can push him, I know how hard I can wind him up. 'Everyone wants us to not like each other. The fact we do get on really well makes it so easy.' Amy also revealed that when she was preparing to film a TikTok Live at the All Stars final, Curtis gave her a hug and said she was 'going to smash it.'
