Kate Cassidy has broken her social media silence after news broke that she wouldn't receive any part of Liam Payne's £24million estate. Tragically, One Direction star Liam passed away last October at 31 when he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Initially, five individuals faced charges concerning his death, but now three have been cleared, including Liam's friend Roger Nores. Liam's considerable fortune was initially estimated at £28,595,000 but was reduced to £24,280,000 after debts and liabilities were settled.
Court filings from May 1 indicate that, since Payne died intestate, his former partner Cheryl Tweedy, who is the mother of their eight-year-old son Bear, has been given the responsibility of administrating his wealth.
Additionally, music attorney Richard Bray was appointed as an executor. For the latest TV and showbiz news sign up to our newsletter
The Mirror reports that according to UK law on intestacy, Payne's son Bear is in line to receive his deceased father's assets via a trust.
It appears Kate, the American model who had a two-year relationship with the late One Direction star, won't inherit any portion of Liam's wealth.

Shortly after the disclosure that Liam had sadly died without creating a will, Kate posted a seemingly upbeat Instagram update.
Kate tantalised her 900,000 followers by disclosing the contents of her handbag – a quick fix from Starbucks and some hair extensions – paired with the playful remark: "What's in your purse? ? ? Mine: starbucks and @glamseamless."
In the period leading up to Payne's sudden demise, his 24-year-old partner was constantly by his side.
She remains active on social media, recently posting a photo capturing a rainbow, to which a follower remarked: "Liam showing up through the rainbow."
Cassidy poignantly agreed, replying with: "He had to say hello."
Prior to this, she has touched upon various 'signs' that she perceives as messages from the departed musician, guiding her through her bereavement.
Among these was a discovery she made at the bottom of her bag, where she found a note adorned with a crown and inscribed with '444'.
Reflecting on this, Cassidy shared: "Sign for today. [I] was cleaning out my purses and found this note at the bottom of one."

Following Liam's death, his estate matters were addressed using an Ad Colligenda Bona grant – a legal provision generally employed when dealing with property sales shortly after an individual's passing before the estate has been settled.
Friends close to the superstar revealed that he had taken steps "some years ago" to secure his funds for his son should anything happen to him.

Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon, 44, pregnant with first child
Liz McClarnon has admitted she is 'petrified' ahead of welcoming her first child after having two miscarriages. As a teenager Liz joined the girl group Atomic Kitten alongside Kerry Katona and Natasha Hamilton. The group – who later had Jenny Frost join after Kerry left – scored three number-one hits – Whole Again, Eternal Flame, and The Tide Is High – plus two number-one albums. However last year Liz was left as the only member of Atomic Kitten after the other two quit. A year on Liz has revealed some exciting news in her private life. Earlier this month the 44-year-old admitted she'd 'been keeping a secret'. 'I've mostly kept myself off social media because sometimes it was hard to smile. But after years of sometimes quite painful IVF quite dark times…I'm pregnant,' she captioned a video, which showed her sitting in a park cradling her bump. 'I started to record a video of me just telling you but I got too emotional, so I thought I'd just hide behind this little announcement instead. I just can't believe we're here,' she continued. 'So many have been through exactly what I went through and worse. ❤️ I want to share what I can and add my voice and ears to those who already help others understand or deal with all that comes with IVF and loss after so much hope. I've been a part of some beautifully supportive communities. I'm so grateful.' The singer is expecting her first child with husband Peter Cho, a doctor she met on a dating app during the pandemic. Four months later they moved in together and four months after that the couple were engaged. Early in their relationship they began the IVF process as both wanted children and were aware her being 40 might delay the natural process. However, in 2022 they had three failed embryo transfers, and last year she suffered two miscarriages after the first successful cycles. In an interview with The Mirror, Liz said she decided to share her fertility struggles following 'dark times'. 'The whole process made me truly appreciate that having a baby is a miracle,' she said. 'When it doesn't work, you're just in shock. 'I felt so bad emotionally, it was really tough.' But Liz said she was now 'loving life' and was excited to find out the sex of her baby. She did joke about her nerves though too. 'My knees already hurt. Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful, but I'm also petrified. But you know what? It's happened to women older than me before, and it'll happen again – so we'll just get on with it!,' she said. When sharing her pregnancy publicly, Liz was flooded with many messages of support – including from her former bandmates. 'Literally couldn't be any happier for you both! After all you've been through, this little miracle is everything,' Natasha wrote. 'The best news ever …. You have been through it girl but never lost faith in what you knew was meant to be 🤍 Beyond happy for you both,' Jenny added. More Trending Liz and Peter married in 2023, but she only revealed his identity to her followers when they celebrated their first wedding anniversary last year. After sharing photos with her husband's face covered by confetti soon after their wedding, she paid tribute to Peter a year later. Sharing a photo of them together, she wrote: 'Guess what?! I've been married to my perfect match for a whole year, I love you Peter Cho!' Got a story? The Love Island star, 28, tied the knot with West Ham ace Jarrod, 28, over the weekend in a lavish ceremony at the five-star Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire. It has been reported that the couple, who began dating in 2021, kept things low-key with only their closest friends and family attending the nuptials. Taking to Instagram after saying 'I do', Dani gave her followers an insight into the big day in a video created by Evieradfordsocials. It begins with the Survival Of The Fittest star getting glammed up, slipping into her stunning off-shoulder white gown, which reportedly cost £10,000. We are then treated to the moment Danny first saw his daughter in her dress, planting a kiss on her cheek. The EastEnders star walks his eldest daughter down the aisle, before sitting down, beaming from ear to ear, to watch the couple tie the knot. It's clear the day was filled with love, with beautiful clips of guests laughing, congratulating the newlyweds, and Dani and Jarrod sharing an intimate moment with their two-year-old twins, Summer and Star, and Dani's son Santiago, four, on the dancefloor. We don't get to hear any of Danny's speech, but we can see one raucous moment where the entire room is spinning napkins above their heads for reasons unknown. The video also sees Dani and Danny hit the dancefloor for a traditional father-daughter dance, which sees Danny wrap his arms around Dani's shoulders and plant a kiss on her head. It ends with Dani slipping out of her flowing gown and into a shorter white lace number for the reception, filled with dancing, champagne, and pizza for attendees to tuck into. She wrote in the caption: 'The best day of my entire life and a day that I will want to re live forever🤍.' Fans have taken to the comment section to share their congratulations with the happy couple, with fellow Love Island star Georgia Steel calling it 'the most magical day.' 'So beautiful! I wanna know what your dad's speech was like 😂❤️,' Shanyloublog commented – and she isn't the only one. Danny shared a simple row of heart emoji on the post, with fans quickly flocking to ask him to share his speech while saying how 'proud' he looked. Skyesteadmanx added: 'That brought a tear to my eye , how beautiful.' Many said how 'stunning' the bride was, while attendees gushed how 'perfect' the day was. Victoria_plumx joked: 'Absolutely stunning. In the words of your dad from my fav movie ' NICE 1 BROVAA' 😂 xx,' quoting a line from Human Traffic in which Danny starred as Moff. More Trending 'It all looks absolutely beautiful and a lovely colour scheme . Love it when your Dad and the bridesmaids all finally see your stunning wedding dress ! Wishing you both lots of love and happiness !' Helspels66 commented. Ahead of the big day, Dani opened up to Heat magazine about wedding planning being the 'most stressful experience ever.' 'I have finally done my table plans now. Until you are in there writing names out, making sure you have tables of 10, it's the most stressful experience ever – that's the only thing I've not enjoyed,' she said. She also revealed she would take on a double-barrel surname, continuing: 'I am going to keep the Dyer – I am going to do Dani Dyer-Bowen just because of my work. I feel like if I am Dani Bowen, it takes that thing away from me. We are double-barrelling it.' Got a story?
