Target launches $80 genuine suede leather bag collection
Don't miss out on the headlines from Designers. Followed categories will be added to My News.
An $80 bag from Target is quickly becoming a favourite among shoppers, offering genuine suede leather at a fraction of the price of many luxury alternatives.
Suede is all the rage currently this winter in Australia, from suede loafers to suede bomber jackets, but finding genuine leather ones is a costly affair.
For example, the Sienna Brown Suede bag from Vestirsi retails for $349, and the Tony Bianco Mily Espresso Suede Tote costs $249, which is why when Target dropped their own version of the suede over-the-shoulder bag, TikTokers lost their minds.
TikToker can't believe her find
One user, Emma Vosti, took to TikTok to rave about the find, saying: 'You will not believe what I got at Target yesterday. You just won't'.
'It came in its own dust bag,' she explained in awe as she pulled out the Chocolate Premium Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag.
She particularly loved all the small details that gave the bag a luxe touch.
'It's got lining on the bottom. It's a beautiful colour. It's got the stitching detail. Are you kidding me?' she raved, before showing a tag inside the bag that said 'suede leather'.
The comments echoed her excitement, with one person saying they even left work early to go buy it.
Others described it as 'beautiful' and 'chic'.
Another simply said 'sold'.
One fan admitted, 'I didn't realise Target did leather bags'.
Influencer Steph Claire Smith even joined in on the hype and declared: 'That's a win'.
Another commenter revealed, 'I truly have never been so quickly influenced. Bought it but have to find a way to drive to the town three hours away'.
'What I'm shocked!!!' said someone else.
'Going right now,' wrote another shopper.

Target's new suede range
Carrie Kirkman, General Manager of Merchandise at Target Australia, told news.com.au: 'At Target, we're passionate about giving our customers access to on-trend, high-quality pieces that are effortless and elevated – but importantly also affordable.
'Our new range of suede bags delivers on all fronts – it's made from genuine leather with that soft, velvety texture everyone loves, and is available in a fresh seasonal palette.'
She said the first drop of bags is still arriving in stores across the country and landing online next week, but she's loving seeing the hype online already.
'It's been great to see the early response from our social media community. My personal favourite is the Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag – it instantly elevates any look and, at just $80 for genuine suede, is at an incredible price point,' she said.

Hailey and Justin Bieber marriage ‘struggling': ‘Things are not good'
Don't miss out on the headlines from Hook Ups & Break Ups. Followed categories will be added to My News. Justin and Hailey Bieber are reportedly 'struggling' to keep their marriage together. As rumours have continued to swirl over the status of their relationship, a new report claims Justin has been 'irritated' by Hailey. He 'feels like Hailey can be superficial about the way their relationship looks in the public eye,' a source told Entertainment Tonight. Meanwhile, 'Justin's lack of motivation has been upsetting for [Hailey],' the source continued. While they both want to salvage their marriage, currently, things are 'not good,' the source added. Justin and Hailey's rep didn't immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Speculation that the two are headed towards divorce intensified after she was spotted without her wedding ring while out and about solo in New York City last week, though she later put it back on. Justin then insinuated that his wife was giving him the silent treatment when he reposted a video of a content creator saying, 'B***h, if you're giving me the silent treatment at least tell me why,' on his Instagram Stories on Sunday. 'I have anxiety and I have overthinking. Left and right, they go hand-in-hand. If you give me any room for error, there will be error,' the content creator also says in the video. The latest back and forth comes as fans have showed concern online over Justin's bizarre social media posts as well as his behaviour with paparazzi. 'People keep telling me to heal don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?' the pop star, 31, shared on his Instagram Stories earlier this month after his tense confrontation with paparazzi went viral. 'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me [I] needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making more tired and more angry,' he continued. But Hailey, 28, blasted those continuing to speculate on their marriage in her Vogue interview that was published in May. 'Well, I thought seven years in it would've [died down] already, and it hasn't,' she said of the incessant split rumours surrounding the two since they tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony in New York City in 2018. 'You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no,' she added in reference to their son, 10-month-old Jack Blues. 'So I guess these b***hes are going to be mad.' This article originally appeared in Page Six and was reproduced with permission. The Back Page: Fans say same thing as beloved TV show wraps up after 29-years on air
Don't miss out on the headlines from Sport. Followed categories will be added to My News. Fans are up in arms after beloved long-running sports program 'The Back Page' had its final ever episode on Tuesday night. Earlier this month it was revealed that the popular sports show had been axed after 29 years. But in that time it had become a staple of many households' Tuesday night schedules and viewers were understandably emotional after the final episode concluded just after 8.30pm AEDT. Watch the biggest Aussie sports & the best from overseas LIVE on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited time offer. In those 29 years, Australia has had eight Prime Ministers and nine Test cricket captains, yet the iconic sports program has only ever had two hosts, Mike Gibson and Tony Squires, as the show beamed into households around the country on Tuesday nights since 1997. And on Tuesday, an emotional Squires signed off for the final time as he admitted he doesn't want the show to end but that is the decision that has been made and therefore he and the entire cast must accept. 'I am not going to lie it's going to be really hard to walk out tonight but go we must,' Squires began. 'We've been around a long time. Thank you for letting us into your lives for that stretch. 'Thank you to the more than 500 people who have taken a seat on the panel or as a guest. Thank you to sport for being the best live unscripted theatre. You can watch Squire's full The Back Page farewell in the player above. Tony Squires signs off for final time. Image: Kayo 'Thank you to anyone who has celebrated victory prematurely and five-putted and recorded it. Thank you so much for doing that. ' … And so from everyone at The Back Page goodbye.' Immediately after signing off social media was flooded with tributes for the beloved show as many fans voiced their displeasure at the decision to dump The Back Page. 'Seriously why in the hell is this show ending??' one loyal fan of the show wrote on X. 'I hate it when good TV shows end. Farewell 'The Back Page', what an incredible run,' another added. 'I can't believe Fox Sports has decided to end The Back Page. TBP is one of the all-time great sport shows,' a third wrote. While others said 'Shame Back Page is going. Why do all the good shows end' and 'One of the shows I've watched every week is the back page. I'm truly sad it's ending'. The Back Page has welcomed more than 500 special guests (pictured Gout Gout appearing on the show last month). Image: Fox Sports Announcing the news earlier this month Fox Sports boss Steve Crawley said the decision to axe 'The Back Page' was not due to cost cutting, instead, the company believed it was time to move in another direction. 'At Fox Sports, we have introduced a number of new shows in recent times and we have more in final planning,' he said. 'The Back Page has been entertaining audiences for nearly three decades; there are very few shows that can claim that. 'Entertainment programming is a tough business in that it's like life itself, how everything has a lifespan. Even the great shows like 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' and 'The Back Page'. 'In a big country with different codes of football and unique tastes, it's extremely rare for a sports show to survive, let alone for almost 30 years.'
