Eligibility criteria rooted in policing experience
Candidates applying for the post must either be currently working in or retired from the Delhi Police, holding the position of Sub-Inspector or Inspector. In addition to this, applicants should have accumulated diverse experience over the past five years in roles such as Assistant Sub-Inspector, Sub-Inspector, or Inspector, specifically in field assignments like police stations or traffic departments.
It is imperative that candidates are free from any Departmental and Vigilance (D&AR) issues. Those who are still in regular service will also be considered eligible for the post, provided they choose to voluntarily retire — either through Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) or by other means — before joining DMRC.
Age limit and salary structure
The age criteria for this post specify that candidates must be at least 55 years old and not exceed 62 years of age.

However, age relaxation shall be granted to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per applicable rules.

Rajasthan: Bank employee withdraws Rs 4.58 crore from customers' in Kota, arrested
ANI 08 Jun 2025, 02:27 GMT+10 Kota (Rajasthan) [India], June 8 (ANI): A woman employee of ICICI Bank in Kota allegedly withdrew Rs 4.58 crore from customers' accounts and invested it in the share market, police said on late Saturday, adding that she has been arrested. Sub-inspector (SI) Udyog Nagar Police Station Mohammad Ibrahim told reporters, 'Bank officer Sakshi Gupta took Rs 4.58 crore from 43 customers' accounts. A case has been registered, and she has been arrested'. 'Sakshi Gupta had invested this money in the share market through a demat account,' the officer added. More details are awaited. (ANI)

Due to large gatherings at Idgah Maidan, along Trimbak Road, for mass mamaz, a significant police presence was deployed. Traffic diversions were enforced on two roads near Idgah Maidan from 7am to noon. The mass namaz commenced at 10 am.
