In an interview with FilmyGyan, Mukesh Khanna was questioned about his views on the Big B of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, and while calling him a 'very, very serious actor," Khanna shared, 'Mujhe herani hai ki is umar mein bhi dadhi lagate hein jo mein nahi laga sakta or unke bare mein Tinu Varma jese action director se suna hai ki, 'sir unko itne problems hai or vo itne delicate hai' par I appreciate that. He is a very very serious actor."

Amitabh Bachchan has been wowing audiences with his acting skills for decades now. Currently, Big B is hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 17. Amitabh Bachchan recently welcomed Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force, and Commander Prerna Deosthalee of the Indian Navy during the Independence Day special episode of KBC, which aired on August 15.
What's Next For Amitabh Bachchan?
Big B was last seen on-screen in Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, alongside Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh, among others. The film was released theatrically in October last year. As of now, he also has Ribhu Dasgupta's Section 84, featuring Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur, in the pipeline.

Besides this, Big B will also be seen in Part 2 of Kalki 2898 AD starring Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, among others. During a recent media interaction ahead of the re-release of his debut film Yevade Subramanyam, Nag Ashwin talked about the second part of the franchise and revealed, 'The second part will have more of Prabhas, as it will be majorly centred around the Karna and Ashwatthama characters." Ashwin also revealed that Kalki 2 will begin filming in December 2025.

Sea of devotees flocks to Mathura to celebrate Janmashtami
Agency: PTI Mathura/Varanasi (UP), Aug 16 (PTI) Lakhs of devotees from across the world gathered in Mathura on Saturday to celebrate Janmasthami, with pilgrims queuing up since early morning to catch a glimpse of the deity in the birth place of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp throughout the Braj region, but the main ceremony was held at the Radha Krishna temple within the Bhagwat Bhavan complex here. Officials said the enthusiasm was palpable as devotees sought to catch a glimpse of 'thakur' (god), with queues forming as early as late Friday night at the northern gate of the temple. The eagerness of the crowd persisted late into the night, as the celebrations headed for a climax. The city and the municipal administrations transformed Mathura for the occasion, as roads and crossings were specially decorated, with scenes from 'Krishna Leela' set up as selfie points. Various cultural events hosted folk artistes from different parts of India, showcasing Awadhi, Bundelkhandi, Rajasthani and Haryanvi traditions through their art. Food, water and 'sherbet' were distributed free of cost to the pilgrims at multiple locations. To ensure the safety of the devotees, the city and the temple premises were divided into four zones and 18 sectors, with heavy police deployment at every point, the officials said. Janmashtami was was also celebrated with special rituals in Varanasi. According to the officials of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, clothes and gifts were sent from here to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura for the occasion. Indore soaks in patriotic & cultural spirit on I-Day
Indore: Independence Day was celebrated in a festive atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit, enthusiasm, and passion due to the 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhta' campaign in the city on Friday. At the main ceremony held at the Armed Police Training College grounds in Mahesh Guard Line, Indore collector Asheesh Singh hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade.
