Mobile gaming is a massive part of India's digital culture today, and there's no denying that Battlegrounds Mobile India aka BGMI sits right at the top of the list for most popular games in the country. Now, tapping into this growing space, Reliance Jio has teamed up with Krafton India to launch two dedicated gaming recharge packs for its users. The idea is simple — give gamers what they want: faster connectivity, access to premium games, and exclusive BGMI rewards. And to do that, Jio has introduced two plans priced at Rs 495 and Rs 545, both with a 28-day validity.advertisementBoth recharge packs are now live and can be recharged via the MyJio app or the official Jio website. The Rs 495 pack offers 1.5GB data per day, an additional 5GB of data, unlimited voice calling, and two key gaming perks — access to JioGames Cloud and a BGMI Skins Coupon. The slightly higher Rs 545 plan bumps things up by offering unlimited 5G data (for eligible users), 2GB/day of regular data, 5GB additional data, unlimited voice calling, and the same gaming benefits as the Rs 495 pack.
With the JioGames Cloud subscription bundled in, users can stream and play over 500 premium cloud games across devices — be it a smartphone, a web browser, a Jio set-top box or even an Android TV. Since this is cloud gaming, there's no need for downloads or console-level hardware. You just log in and play.advertisementOn the BGMI side, users will receive exclusive in-game rewards like the Bard's Journey Set, Desert Taskforce Mask, and the Tap Boom Molotov Cocktail — redeemable using coupons received after the recharge.Talking about the partnership, Seddharth Merrotra, Head of Business Development and Partnerships, Krafton India, said, 'At Krafton, our mission has always been to elevate and democratise gaming experiences for Indian players. With over 200 million downloads and one of the most passionate communities in the country, BGMI has become more than just a game; it's a cultural phenomenon.'A Jio spokesperson added, 'Gaming is an integral part of India's digital lifestyle, and Jio is committed to enhancing that experience. With this gaming pack, we are not just providing connectivity; we are delivering real value by offering 5G connectivity, Cloud Gaming Subscription, and Exclusive in-game rewards with a single recharge.'How to claim the BGMI rewardsAfter recharging with either gaming pack, users will receive a confirmation SMS. Tanishaa Mukerji Defends Saiyaara, Slams ‘Paid' Audience Claim: ‘This Is Bollywood Bashing'

Tanishaa Mukerji reacted to claims that Saiyaara makers paid young people to cry and act emotional in theatres while watching the film. Here's what she said! Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has caused a stir at the box office, and has emerged as a surprise blockbuster. Saiyaara fever has gripped audiences across the country, especially Gen-Z, with emotional reactions flooding social media. Several videos of people crying and shouting inside the theatres while watching Saiyaara went viral on Instagram. Now, a podcast suggesting that these extreme reactions were planned by the filmmakers, caught the attention of actor Tanishaa Mukerji. She strongly responded to claims suggesting that the makers paid people to cry and act emotional in theatres, calling it yet another case of 'Bollywood bashing'. She defended the film, and stated that there is nothing wrong with people reacting to the film this way. In The Asymmetric Crew podcast, Shantanu Deshpande raised questions about the viral frenzy surrounding Mohit Suri's Saiyaara. 'What's happening with this ridiculous Saiyaara movie. The producer of this movie, in my view, has paid ₹500 in dehadi to lots of these Gen-Z young folks to go into these theatres and put on emotional performances of crying… This is how the movie is getting promoted by the way. The whole world has now become a bunch of performers," he said. Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukerji reacted to the viral reel, and slammed the claims. She defended the film, and wrote, 'Completely disagree. Times are changing and these people are stuck in the past. Love and appreciate the new. And honestly What rubbish is this man saying. Does he know anything for a fact. He is using the phenomenon of Saiyara to get views by talking negatively." She further added, 'If people are reacting to a film what is so wrong about that. Just because he cannot relate doesn't mean the younger generation doesn't either. Every generation is different. This is india. We react. Go watch the film see how the audiences are moved. Then talk. This is just Bollywood bashing ! Brands just have to find new ways to connect to their audiences!" Saiyaara has officially crossed Rs 250 crore net in India and over Rs 300 crore worldwide—making it one of the biggest sleeper hits of 2025. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, released in theatres on July 18. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Deanne Panday smiled wide as paparazzi called her 'Krish Kapoor ki mummy' post Saiyaara's success. Her reply? 'Picture dekhi ya nahi?' Ahaan Panday's debut film Saiyaara continues to make waves at the box office, and it seems like the actor's mother, Deanne Panday, is soaking in every bit of the celebratory spotlight. In a heartwarming video doing the rounds on social media, Deanne was spotted at a public event where she was greeted by paparazzi in a rather cheeky manner. As she posed for the shutterbugs, one pap called out to her saying, 'Arey, Krish Kapoor ki mummy," while referring to Ahaan's character in Saiyaara. The wellness expert and celebrity mom couldn't help but burst into laughter. Her candid reaction, paired with a warm smile, won over netizens. In a brief yet adorable exchange, Deanne responded to the media with a playful query of her own: 'Picture dekhi ya nahi?" referring to Saiyaara's recent theatrical release. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Voompla (@voompla) Saiyaara has officially crossed Rs 250 crore net in India and over Rs 300 crore worldwide—making it one of the biggest sleeper hits of 2025. The film is now eyeing the Rs 275 crore mark domestically by the end of its second week. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara has been lauded for its emotional storytelling, fresh casting, and soul-stirring soundtrack. It marks Ahaan Panday's acting debut and has also given a massive career boost to actress Aneet Padda. The film also stars Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Alam Khan, Sid Makkar, and Shaan Groverr in supporting roles. According to a report by The Times of India, the makers have closed a deal with Netflix for the OTT release of Saiyaara. However, given its continued box office success, the film's digital debut has now been pushed closer to Diwali. This move is expected to give the film an extended shelf life and cater to festive viewers at home. Released on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara is loosely inspired by the 2004 Korean romantic drama A Moment to Remember. The film follows Krish Kapoor, a disillusioned musician who crosses paths with the introspective poet Vaani Batra. Together, they navigate love, loss, and healing in a story that has struck an emotional chord with audiences.
