‘Reels is not patriotism': Woman at Delhi airport slams co-passengers' loud chants
The growing trend of filming 'patriotic' content in public spaces drew fresh criticism after a flyer at Delhi airport posted about a group chanting slogans and shooting reels. She slammed them for being insensitive and lacking civic sense. A woman shared this picture while slamming fellow Indian passengers at Delhi airport. (Reddit/@Upper_Cook8442)
'Why Indians are Like This? the flyer wrote. She continued that while at Delhi airport, travelling from Vietnam to Malaysia, she came across a group of Indian travellers who randomly started chanting and making reels.
'If you are so patriotic then why travel to another country? If you wanna make the reels you make it without shouting and disturbing others,' she continued.
The woman completed her post with a picture that showed an individual holding an Indian passport with a ticket kept within. Take a look at the post: Why Indians are Like This?

An individual posted, ''Bharat Mata ki Jai' right before catching a flight out of Bharat is wild.' Another added, 'Ask anything about our country, our history, our struggles they won't be able to tell.' A third remarked, 'If you're proud of your country, you should also respect others around you. Being loud and disturbing people at the airport isn't needed. Travelling abroad doesn't mean you're not patriotic.' A fourth wrote, 'This is straight-up insecurity, not fun. Some of us Indians have a mentality of barking about our country and its culture everywhere.'

Here's what went down in 'Squid Game 3'_Jo Yuri's insane birth scene had everyone shook!
The Scene That Stole the Show: Birth Amidst Chaos If you thought Squid Game couldn't get any wilder, Season 3 just proved you wrong. This time, it's not just about deadly games and mind-bending betrayals-there's a full-on birth scene, smack in the middle of a hide-and-seek death match. And who's at the center of this chaos? None other than Jo Yuri, the 23-year-old former IZ*ONE star, playing the pregnant Kim Junhee. Imagine this: You're literally running for your life, red-suited "taggers" are out to get you, and in the middle of all that, you go into labor. Talk about multitasking under pressure! For Indian youth who've seen their fair share of dramatic serials, this is next-level drama-think of it as the "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" of K-dramas, but with more blood and less saas-bahu plotting. Jo Yuri's Real-Life Prep: Mom's Advice and Going Full Method Jo Yuri didn't just wing it. She confessed that the birth scene was the most unforgettable moment of the entire shoot. She went all out-listening to her mom's advice, doing her homework, and then, when the cameras rolled, just letting go. "People around me told me not to overthink it, just lose myself in the moment. I don't even remember how I did it-I was scratching the wall like crazy," she laughed. That's some proper method acting, desi style! And if you think that's intense, her co-star Kang Ae Sim, who played the midwife, said, "Giving birth is a warzone. You press the belly, count to three, and push! But in the scene, we couldn't even scream properly because the 'taggers' might hear us. We had to redo it so many times because we kept yelling by accident!" Now that's what you call a retake marathon-Bollywood directors, take notes! The Emotional Rollercoaster: Cast Bonding and Tears On Set Park Sung Hoon, who played Hyun Joo, revealed that sharing Junhee's birth scene brought the cast super close. "We all felt this intense bond, like, 'We have to save her, no matter what.' Even if it meant risking everything." The director even asked for a single tear before a dramatic fall-and Park nailed it in one take. That's some Oscar-level commitment right there! And get this: right after shooting this emotional scene in Daejeon, the cast had to rush to Gangwon-do to film a death scene for another show. Double the drama, double the emotional exhaustion! Imagine shooting a birth and a funeral scene back-to-back-no wonder Korean actors are the real MVPs. Why Indian Youth Totally Get This If you're someone who's ever watched a family member give birth (or just seen enough hospital scenes in movies), you know it's no joke. But doing it while hiding from killers? That's another level. Jo Yuri's raw, almost animalistic acting-scratching walls, losing herself, and channeling pure survival-hits home for anyone who's ever had to "just do it" under pressure, whether it's an exam, a job interview, or a family drama at a shaadi. And let's be real-Indian moms giving birth stories are legendary. Jo Yuri taking tips from her mom? Relatable AF. We all know that one auntie who's got the most dramatic birth story at every family gathering. Now imagine if that auntie had to keep quiet because someone was literally out to get her. Wild, right? A Little Heartfelt Reflection Watching Jo Yuri and the Squid Game 3 cast pour their hearts (and tears) into this scene is a reminder that, no matter where you're from, the struggle, the chaos, and the family feels are universal. Whether it's a K-drama or a desi serial, the emotions hit the same. Here's to the actors who make us feel all the feels-even when the world around them is going completely bonkers. P.S. If you ever have to do something crazy under pressure, just remember: sometimes, you've got to scratch the wall and go full "muahjigyung" (out of your mind). Jo Yuri did it, and look how iconic that turned out!

Renuka Shahane talks about today's expensive actor culture compared to the 90s
Mumbai: Veteran actress and filmmaker Renuka Shahane has opened up about the stark difference in how the film industry operates today compared to the 1990s. Reflecting on the rising cost of actors and the large teams that accompany them, the 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' actress pointed out how stars in the 90s managed their careers without elaborate entourages. She believes the culture has shifted significantly, with today's actors relying on multiple managers, stylists, and social media teams—adding to the overall production cost. Renuka told IANS, 'I think the culture has changed because there are so many mediums and media today to kind of explore yourself as an actor. So, if you are a huge star, for instance, then there are people who are managing your social media. There are people who are separately managing your social media ads, separately managing your proper TVC ads. Then there are others who are managing your costumes and, you know, that kind of collaboration.' 'And that's why, you know, there's a division of labor. Therefore, there are that many people. And those many people can only exist if it's commercially viable for the people paying.' Renuka went on to explain, 'So, it's not as if one fine day the star gets up and says, Oh, I need ten people instead of one. If there are ten people with the star and if the producer has, you know, feels that it is important that the star feels comfortable and I'm willing to pay that much for the star's entourage, then they'll invest in it or they'll compromise and say that, Listen, we can only handle five people on the set, not more than five. So, I think that, you know, it's not something that someone is doing it forcefully.' 'If you can afford it, then they are doing it. Those who can't afford it—if you can't afford it, the star might put their foot down and say, Listen, I'd rather not do your project because I need my staff with me. Or they'll say, Okay, I'll compromise for this project, or I'll do it.' 'You know, so I think that one should judge people that, oh, such a big entourage used to manage before. There weren't so many avenues that used the star, you know, in terms of the commercial prospects. So, I feel that one should also be more kind. You know, we generally judge that they have a lot. So, we are quick to judge. But I think that it's a matter of comfort,' the actress further mentioned. Work-wise, Renuka Shahane's third directorial venture, a Marathi animated short titled 'Loop Line,' was screened at the 2025 New York Indian Film Festival on June 21. The film explored the emotional neglect and silent battles faced by Indian housewives trapped in traditional, patriarchal households.
