TRACKING: Heavy downpours, storms and possible flooding
CLEVELAND (WJW) – Another warm and humid day with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s once we get some breaks of sunshine in between the rain. Showers and thunderstorms around through 8 p.m.
Locally heavy rainfall today. Rainfall rates of 1-2″ per hour could lead to flooding in areas. FLOOD ALERTS may be issued with these slow moving soakers. Parts of the area has already picked up .50-1.50″ with the morning activity.

Thursday a few spotty showers possible in the southern half of the area, but most areas dry. Friday looks dry and we get a break from the heat and humidity. 70's return to the area allowing us to give the AC a break and allowing the fresh air in. Enjoy!
Unsettled conditions move in for the up coming weekend. Highest coverage will be during the second half of Saturday and Sunday morning. Temperatures typical for this time of year in the low and mid 80's.

Where heavy rain will hit already soggy regions of the U.S. this week
More rain is on the way in the coming days to portions of the central and eastern United States, bringing more moisture to areas already saturated from a summer of heavy rain.
