Numerous stories about Osbourne's life have come to light in the days since his death. There was that time he bit the head off a bat. And a dove. And who can forget his time in that MTV reality show alongside his second wife Sharon and his youngest kids. But there's also a lot of interest in his funeral, when it will take place and who will be present.

When is Ozzy Osbourne's funeral?
Osbourne is expected to have a small private funeral, though that might not be all. A source told The Sun: 'There are conversations about a celebration of his life in Birmingham, the city that meant so much to him.' Indeed, after the news of Osbourne's death was announced, flowers were left and vigils held at Birmingham's Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench, as well as at a mural honoring the band. No date has yet been announced.
'Artists like Yungblud, who was seen by Ozzy as a musician who could carry on the mantle of what he started all those years ago, is expected to have a role in it,' the source added. Dominic Richard Harrison, known professionally as Yungblud, is an English singer, songwriter and actor. He has released an EP, titled Yungblud, followed by his first full-length album, titled 21st Century Liability. He performed 'Changes' at Black Sabbath's last concert.
'There are hundreds of big names who will want to pay their respects and celebrate his life and legacy, as well as thousands of fans who would line the streets to say goodbye,' the source also told the outlet.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Osbourne performed in the Back To The Beginning concert, which was seen at the time as a way to say goodbye. Before the charity show, Osbourne himself said, 'It's my final encore — my chance to say thank you to my fans.' The concert raised £140million for different charities including Birmingham's Acorns Children's Hospice, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Cure Parkinson's.
A fan who was at the concert, Jake Brookes, told the outlet: 'He got to say goodbye and we got to say goodbye back,' adding. 'There was not a dry eye at Villa Park. And for him to do it at home meant the world to him, meant the world to fans, and it was a mutual thank you and respect.'
Meanwhile, Trevor Johnson, Chief Executive of Acorns, said the concert 'showed what he was about.' He explained. 'It showed the impact that he's had right across the world from here in the West Midlands and I think it was a fitting end to an extraordinary life.'
A book of condolences is being opened at Villa Park, but the reaction from fans and people who knew him alike shows why a tribute is a very good idea.

Until last year, Chris Duncan hadn't won a fight via guillotine since his professional debut in 2018. But now suddenly he's riding a two-fight streak with both victories sealed by the technique? A couple of weeks ago, when honoring his legendary teammate Dustin Poirier, I couldn't help but notice one particular sentence in the midst of the plaudits Duncan gave 'The Diamond'. 'I watched you when I was a young kid [in] WEC, you are the guy who then became a teammate,' wrote the 32-year-old Scot on Instagram. Then came the kicker: 'Then you showed me the famous gilly grip!!!!' Could it be? Had Duncan inherited the magical method that made Poirier the de facto leader of the Gilly Goose Gang for the past few years? Granted, the Louisiana poster boy captivated audiences for his attempts of the choke rather than his execution, but according to Duncan, he wasn't just throwing compliments out there willy-nilly. 'When he was getting ready for Benoit Saint-Denis, we were doing a lot of wrestling together,' Duncan told Uncrowned of Poirier. 'I was being used for grappling rounds only, because I'm not a southpaw. Every Saturday he was doing his conditioning circuit, live pads and live grappling rounds. His objective was to keep getting up and a few times he was catching me with that submission. I always thought I had a good guillotine as it was, but I asked, 'What are you doing there?' Because even when I was doing everything right, he was still getting me with it. 'Over time he helped me develop it and he showed me the different things he was doing — and believe it or not, it's won me a lot of money!' Duncan is no doubt referring to the Performance of the Night bonus he secured with his guillotine victory over Bolaji Oki this past September, which he followed up with another guillotine victory in March over one of the golden boys of the U.K. scene, former Cage Warriors champion Jordan Vucenic. 'I threw him about like an empty tracksuit,' Duncan remembered. 'I try not to badmouth any of my opponents, and I hope this doesn't sound wrong, but I make a lot of sacrifices in every fight camp to travel to American Top Team. I'm training with the best guys in the world, whereas he did his fight camp in [English town] Corby — most people don't know where that is.' You see, Duncan never got the big promotional backing that Vunenic enjoyed in his pre-UFC career. The first time I saw him fight, he upset a highly-hyped hometown favorite in Dublin's 3 Arena, silencing the partisan Irish crowd to the point of disbelief at a Bellator show in 2019. It took the Scot minutes to dispose of striking standout Sam Slater that night. He went on to win two more tests under the Bellator banner, but was never afforded the push like others on the now-defunct promotion's European roster. In a strange way, not being synonymous with the brand like James Gallagher or Fabian Edwards may have helped Duncan contractually when it came to getting a nod for the UFC's Contender Series. Although it took him two bites of the apple before he earned his UFC contract, Duncan now has his feet comfortably under the table as a five-fight veteran. While it's certainly an escalation in terms of rankings, you get the sense that Duncan is relishing the thought of facing Mateusz Rębecki in the co-main event of this weekend's UFC Vegas 108 card. He may be the underdog, but the way he sees it, that just gives him a bigger opportunity to win the masses over. 'People are always going to doubt you,' he explained. 'I haven't had any crazy performances — I've had some good ones, but I haven't had a crazy fight in there yet. People probably think I'm just an average fighter, but I'll prove to them that I'm far from average.' And what are the chances he could make it three guillotine finishes in a row? 'I'm going to try it," Duncan exclaimed. "I think he's going to wrestle, so I should get a chance. It's f***ing embedded into my game. I've got so many ins and so many outs with that submission. It's definitely possible, you'll have to wait and see.'

A familiar but unique story Just as the film brought the Naked Gun franchise back from the dead, this meta-comedy reboot sees Frank Drebin Jr. try to solve a murder that threatens to put an end to Police Squad once and for all. Frank uncovers the world-ending plot orchestrated by tech mogul billionaire Richard Cane (Danny Huston), who frames him for a murder. To catch up with the times, this reboot modernizes the Naked Gun narrative with references to self-driving electric cars, online pop-up ads, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Sex and the City. However, the movie still features several familiar quirks and characters of the Naked Gun franchise that should satisfy long-time fans. These include the hard-boiled detective doing comedic voice-overs, the attractive and ditzy femme fatale, and the evil, wealthy genius trying to turn innocent people into murderers. While the movie features several franchise tropes, The Naked Gun doesn't try to be a carbon copy of the original. In fact, this reboot instantly shows its self-awareness as Frank expresses his desire to be like his dad but different. The villain's goal for recreating the human race can even be interpreted as a metaphor for wanting to go back to the good old days with men like Frank and his father at the forefront. Comedy's next big stars are here Frank Drebin Jr. truly is his father's son. Neeson has already shown potential as a comedic actor many times with his appearances in Family Guy, Ted 2, and A Million Ways to Die in the West. However, The Naked Gun proved that he was the only one worthy of inheriting the name of Frank Drebin from Leslie Nielsen. As Drebin Jr., Neeson brings out plenty of laughs with his buffoonish antics, deadpan joke delivery, and impeccable comedic timing. Neeson's performance is on par with Nielsen's work. Neeson adds a unique layer to his character by satirizing his own angry action hero persona with ultraviolent fight scenes and a revenge-fueled monologue. It's a breath of fresh air for his acting career that may even pave the way for more comedic roles. At the same time, Pamela Anderson invokes the spirit of her predecessor, Priscilla Presley, with her new character, Beth Davenport. Her chemistry with Neeson is electric, and her straight-faced delivery makes her an equally hilarious presence, especially with her ridiculous jazz performance. An onslaught of creative comedy Like the original film, The Naked Gun is a machine gun firing barrels of laughs every second. Given how MacFarlane has paid brilliant homage to The Naked Gun franchise numerous times on Family Guy, it's no surprise that he was able to get its brand of humor right for the new film. As a modern reboot, The Naked Gun adds some social commentary with its jokes about Police Squad's problematic actions — Frank not wanting to use body cams and him having shot at very few white criminals. However, the film never gets heavy-handed with pushing a progressive narrative. Its clear priority is to be as silly and hilarious as possible, and it succeeds. 2025's The Naked Gun features all the wacky ridiculousness that one can expect from the franchise. One can see Schaffer drawing from his experiences with the Lonely Island with these cartoonish, over-the-top moments. Most notably, Schaffer's film shows Frank disguising himself as a little schoolgirl to take down a gang of bank robbers and him and Beth having a threesome with a Satanic snowman. Also, in MacFarlane's own fashion, The Naked Gun takes everyday chats and foibles and turns them into comedy gold, from Frank declaring his love for the Black Eyed Peas to him mourning the loss of his Buffy episodes on TiVo. There are even some traces of Austin Powers in the film's comedic DNA, specifically with that supposedly sexual thermal vision scene. The movie even executes a hysterical parody of another classic spy movie, Mission: Impossible — Fallout, with its layered, fake hospital scene. Is The Naked Gun worth a watch? To be frank, yes. This Naked Gun movie may not be as good as the original, but it is still pretty damn good. The movie revives Naked Gun's distinctive brand of humor with its blend of clever wordplay and slapstick gags, bringing plenty of wit and wackiness to the story. While there are several different comedic styles at play, The Naked Gun blends them together to create an outrageous comedy extravaganza. Not only does this movie revive the Naked Gun franchise, but it also reignites hope for parody films and shows as a whole. Spoofs like The Naked Gun prove the genre can still succeed today and deliver great laughs when done right. And with it joining the ranks of History of the World: Part II and the upcoming Spaceballs sequel, The Naked Gun seems part of a much-welcome parody genre revival. The Naked Gun is now playing in theaters.
