A Cricket Lover With Unusual League Ideas Focus on 'Battle of Galwan' Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently addressed long-standing curiosity about his absence from the list of celebrity Indian Premier League (IPL) team owners. Speaking at an event in Mumbai, the 59-year-old actor said he had been approached to buy a franchise during the league's inception in 2008 but chose not to move forward. In his trademark humorous style, Salman remarked that he now considers himself 'too old' for such an investment. He clarified that he has no regrets about the decision, adding that he is content with how things turned the years, several prominent actors have bought into IPL teams. Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla co-own Kolkata Knight Riders, while Preity Zinta is a co-owner of Punjab Kings. Despite his close association with many of these stars, Salman said he has no plans to join the ownership discussing the topic, Salman also amused fans by suggesting he would be more interested in creating leagues based on childhood games such as marbles, gilli-danda, hide and seek, and cops and robbers. He also confirmed that a sequel to his 2015 hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in development, further adding to his already packed schedule.
