Fabricated documents aimed at meeting visa requirements imposed by European embassies
Authorities identified an Egyptian national, believed to be operating the scam from abroad via social media, as one of the main figures behind the illegal immigration scheme. Several other suspects were arrested within Kuwait, and their devices and forged documents have been seized.
As part of ongoing international security cooperation, Kuwaiti authorities have informed their counterparts in Egypt, where further investigations are underway.
The Ministry of Interior reiterated its commitment to upholding national security and enforcing the law, warning that it will not tolerate such criminal activities. It also urged the public to respect the country's legal and immigration frameworks.

Highlighting international cooperation, Sheikh Fahad revealed plans to launch a new electronic version of Kuwaiti citizenship to enhance security measures. Addressing women affected by citizenship revocations under Article 8 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law, he confirmed that the August deadline to amend their status will not be extended. He urged those impacted to visit designated offices if their embassies have not yet contacted them, assuring that the government will ensure they receive benefits except for citizenship, provided they maintain contact with their countries of origin. 'This is part of the state's effort to guarantee them a decent life despite the revocation,' he said.

Bahrain: 130 Violators Deported After 1,089 LMRA Inspection Campaigns Conducted From August 3 To 9
The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has announced the successful implementation of 1,089 inspection campaigns and visits between August 3 and 9, which resulted in the detention of 10 violating and irregular workers and the deportation of 130 violators from the Kingdom of Bahrain. The inspections uncovered multiple breaches of Bahrain's labour and residency laws, prompting the LMRA to take swift legal action. According to the authority, 1,076 inspection visits were carried out across various shops in all governorates, along with 13 joint campaigns in coordination with multiple government entities. These included one campaign in the Capital Governorate, three in Muharraq, four in the Northern Governorate, and five in the Southern Governorate. Participating government bodies included the Ministry of Interior — represented by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) — the respective Police Directorates of each governorate, and the Social Insurance Organisation. The LMRA emphasised its commitment to continuing joint efforts with other government agencies to intensify inspections across the Kingdom, with the aim of safeguarding Bahrain's economic stability, social security, and labour market competitiveness.
