A possible landspout tornado was spotted in Randolph County, Indiana Tuesday afternoon.

iWitness 7 viewer Zach Heishman shared a video of the possible landspout with Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn.

The video was taken along State Route 1 near Winchester.
According to Dunn, a landspout tornado forms differently from a regular tornado.
The landspout is a condensation funnel, and the spin originates near the ground due to the mixing of air masses.
It is not formed from a rotating updraft. These are generally weak and short-lived, Dunn said.
A traditional tornado is formed from a severe thunderstorm with a violently rotating updraft. These can be much stronger and cause much more damage than a landspout.
The National Weather Service is working to determine if this was a landspout tornado.

Creekmore Park Pool in Fort Smith temporarily closing due to ‘fiberglass irritation' reports from swimmers

(KNWA/KFTA) — The pool at Creekmore Park in Fort Smith will be temporarily closed after the city's Parks & Recreation Department received reports from swimmers of fiberglass irritation. The department said in a news release on Wednesday that it received a call concerning fiberglass irritation and was informed of a related social media post earlier this week. A young man who was severely injured when a tornado hit and destroyed his Henry County home has been released from the ICU. Malachi Chaney, who celebrated his 19th birthday over the weekend, remains hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital, but his family says he is slowly recovering. One person dead after car floods on I-635 in Dallas
One person is dead after a swift water rescue in Dallas. Dallas Fire-Rescue said crews responded to a 911 call just after midnight after someone reported their vehicle was stuck in high water under the I-635 bridge at Park Central Drive. DFR said two vehicles were submerged due to rapidly rising water levels. Two people were seen getting out of one of the vehicles, according to DFR, but rescue crews had to wait on the water levels to go down before checking if anyone else was in the other vehicle. Once DFR was able to search the second vehicle, crews found a man inside, who died at the scene. This story is developing.
