Gurgaon: Four students, whose video of reckless driving on Dwarka Expressway went viral over a week ago, were arrested on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar (ASI) said the accused were traced using technical and human intelligence.

The accused — Pushpendra (23), a final year BPharma student from Laxmi Garden in Sector 11; Rohit (22), a final year BPharma student from Raisina village, Bhondsi; Tarun (25), a final year BA student from Harsaru village; and Chetan (19), a Class XII passout and resident of Sector 84 — were arrested from Sector 81.
The police also seized two vehicles — a Mercedes and a Scorpio — which were used for the dangerous stunt near Bajghera police station, putting many lives at risk.
The video had surfaced around 10 days back.
The video showed the accused performing stunts in broad daylight. The accused were seen sitting on the car roofs. The Scorpio driver was seen driving with an open door of the vehicle with loud music playing in the background.
The accused have sought a public apology while in police custody. In a video released by the city police, all the accused were seen admitting their mistake and appealing to the public not to perform such stunts. Police said Tarun was sitting on the moving Scorpio in the video, while Chetan was standing through the sunroof and also shot the stunt videos.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday after her speeding SUV hit a stationary police interceptor vehicle on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway near Faridabad's Badoli bridge during a 'joyride', injuring a home guard and a constable, police said. Constable Deepak, 25, who was inside the vehicle, sustained injuries but is stable, while ASI Narender, 42, escaped with minor bruises, police said. According to Arvind Kumar, station house officer of BPTP police station, Kritika was returning from a gaming zone in Sector 12. 'She was heading to Sector 86 with four friends, all of whom had just cleared Class 12 exams. The Scorpio is registered to her father,' Kumar added. An FIR under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including rash driving, causing grievous injury, and obstruction of duty, was registered at BPTP police station based on the constable's accused, who tested negative for intoxication in a medical examination, was arrested shortly after the incident and has since been released on bail, officers said.

SUV rams police van on Delhi-Mumbai eway, home guard falls 10ft from flyover
Faridabad: An SUV driven by a teenager trainee pilot crashed into a police interceptor van parked along Delhi-Mumbai expressway, sending a home guard plummeting from a flyover to a road 10ft below near Badauli village on Sunday morning. The accident occurred at 7.45am when a black Mahindra Scorpio, driven by 19-year-old Kritika, struck the stationary police van in which two cops — both named Deepak — were monitoring speeds of other vehicles. The impact sent the police interceptor (HR51GV-8574) crashing into the flyover's boundary wall, causing home guard Deepak to fall onto the road below. While one constable was inside the van, the home guard was standing outside to monitor traffic speeds. Deepak, the home guard, suffered grievous head injuries and is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Sarvodaya hospital. The traffic constable was discharged after treatment. Both cops are around 25 years old. Kritika, who was travelling with three friends from Sector 12, was headed for the district court area to have noodles. "The Scorpio would have been cruising at 150kmph easily. The woman, who was behind the wheel, seemed to have panicked a little after seeing the police van and failed to slam the brakes in time. So, the black SUV crashed into the van at high speed," said Munim Chand, who was passing by. "We usually have cops here monitoring vehicle speeds. Such accidents are rare," Munim added. Tyre marks at the scene indicated a failed attempt at emergency braking. The Scorpio was severely damaged on the left side, but the occupants escaped with minor injuries because of airbags. The crash drew crowds and prompted immediate responses from emergency teams, BPTP police station personnel, and traffic cops. Authorities used a crane to clear both the damaged vehicles and restore normal traffic flow. The driver was taken into custody and released on bail later. "We've registered a case against the driver, who is pursuing pilot training after completing Class 12," said Arvind, the SHO of BPTP police station. An FIR was registered against her at BPTP police station under BNS sections for rash driving, endangering life, causing grievous hurt, and obstructing public servants from performing their duties.
