Millie Bobby Brown's best red carpet moments since turning blonde
Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi has made a handful of red carpet appearances since retiring her signature brunette locks in favour of bright blonde.
Mainly thanks to the premieres of her new Netflix film, The Electric State, which is based on a Swedish comic book of the same name set in an alternate version of the 1990s, Brown has showcased a smorgasbord of red carpet looks since turning blonde.
Her latest look featured at the Madrid premiere of The Electric State, where she wore a vintage Giorgio Armani dress, previously worn by Gwyneth Paltrow for the 1998 Shakespeare In Love premiere.
The Stranger Things star channelled old-school glamour in the sheer column dress, her hair styled in sweeping Hollywood curls, and had paired the embroidered gown with a navy silk wrap.
The 21-year-old actor originally debuted her new look at the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet in LA, California, last Sunday, wearing a custom Louis Vuitton peach silk gown and diamond earrings.
The statement blonde shade is inspired by Nineties bombshells including Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson.
'Millie has been blonde before, but this time we really wanted to lean into those iconic Nineties blondes for her,' explains Millie Bobby Brown's hairstylist, Pete Burkill.
'Blonde always makes a statement, but this particular shade and style really amplify that bold, confident energy.'
Burkill suggests Brown's new colour is leaning into a new trend of high-maintenance hairstyles.
'It's exciting to see people embracing more high-maintenance hair looks again,' he says. 'For the past decade, especially post-COVID, low-maintenance styles like balayage have dominated, which, while beautiful, meant fewer salon visits.
'Now, there's a shift toward these 'power blondes' and the versatility that comes with them.'
At the LA premiere of The Electric State, Brown channelled full Pamela Anderson in a piled-up bun and an Annie's Ibiza gown.
Only just debuting on the London Fashion Week runways a week prior, Brown stepped out in a gold embellished gown with a matching beaded bolero, inspired by the women of the Renaissance including Joan of Arc.
'My love for Leonardo da Vinci's tireless pursuit of perfection and limitless imagination served as a guiding light throughout this collection,' says Annie Doble, founder of the London-based label Annie's Ibiza.
Annie's Ibiza has quickly becoming a go-to for A-listers seeking unique, scene-stealing pieces, worn by the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift and Kate and Lila Moss.
Brown's red carpet looks have leant into a warmer colour palette since turning blonde, wearing peaches and golds that steer away from the cooler whites and silvers she wore as a brunette.
With awards season still in full swing, we can't wait to see what else Brown has up her sleeve.

Huge 90s band Ace Of Base now from Eurovision failure to extremist gang regrets
From being involved in a far-right extremist gang to failing to qualify for Eurovision, the members of hit 90s group Ace of Base have been on quite the journey during their lifetime... Behind some of the best Europop songs of the 90s, Ace of Base have had a wild history. From humble beginnings in Sweden to gangland threats and even an unsuccessful Eurovision attempt, their story has everything... The Scandinavian electro-pop group was first formed in 1987 in Gothenberg, and was made up of siblings Jonas, Linn and Jenny Berggren with the quartet then being completed with founding member Ulf Ekberg. The group began working their way around the clubs of the Swedish city but struggled to take off, with heavy metal being the go-to for Swedes at the time, a far cry from the techno sound. But, after the release of the single Wheel of Fortune broke them into the charts, their next release, All that She Wants, would make them a hit across the world, as the track became certified platinum topping the UK charts for three weeks straight in 1993. They would continue to build on their success with hits like The Sign, becoming staples of clubs across the world in the early 90s. But, just as quickly as they shot to fame, they would as quickly disappear into obscurity. The group were last seen in a series of concerts between 2007 and 2009 as a trio without Linn, but since then the band's original members have all gone down some very different paths: Jenny Berggren After leaving the band in the late 00s, Jenny was the only member to continue recording music with a solo career, as well as turning to writing. In 2009 she published her autobiography, Vinna hela världen, and although an English version translated to 'To Win the World' was due to be released, it never came to fruition. In 2010 she released her first single, Here I Am, which only reached 14 on the Swedish charts before releasing her second single, Gotta Go, and her first album My Story that same year. The same year she was in the running to be the Danish contestant for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with her song, Let Your Heart B Mine, but she failed to get through and gain the nomination for the country to go to the event. She also appeared alongside Ulf in the 2024 for the Ace of Base: All That She Wants documentary looking at the band's story. In the show, she also recounts a scary experience when a fan broke into her home and held a knife to her throat in the early '90s Speaking to People about the ordeal, she said: 'I think that was when the star was born in me. I wanted to sing. I had to calculate with all the dangers, and I just realised, 'No, I want to sing. This is what I want'.' Ulf Ekberg Founder Ulf Ekberg has found himself working with and trying to grow tech start ups in Sweden. Speaking to ABC, the former musician said: "There's so many tech companies in Sweden, especially Stockholm. "I'm interested in creating a sector in technology and music. I'm building companies, and it's been a fantastic last five years. It feels like everything is exploding here. We are in a lot of different sectors, but we try to keep it to the creative sectors as much as possible; movies, TV, music and entertainment, which are obviously very close to my heart." In last year's documentary, Ulf also talks about his involvement with the far-right extremist gang in Sweden as a teenager, something that has shown his deep regret for. In the People interview, he added: 'I think it's a very important topic to talk about because it is a very angry world we live in right now. It's much more angry than when I was a teenager. 'I hope that maybe that part of this documentary can show that even if you are completely lost, you can always find your way and it's never too late — which, I was blessed with a second chance in my life." Jonas and Linn Berggren Since the end of the band, two have stepped back away from the public eye with Linn in particular staying away from the spotlight of fame. Jonas made a very brief appearance at an event covered at the end of the documentary, while Linn chose to write a letter which Jenny reads in the final episode. The band however did come back together for a one-off reunion on their 30th anniversary. To the delight of many fans, they came back to headline the 90s Nostalgic Electric Circus festival in Canada dressed up in black lace and flower-inspired outfits.

Rose West welcomes granddaughter after paedophile son has baby with former model
Serial killer Rose West has become a grandmother again after her paedophile son Stephen, 51, and his fiancée Emma Bradley, 39, welcomed a baby girl named Eden. Rose West has welcomed another grandchild into the world after her son fathered a child with an ex-glamour model. Stephen West and his betrothed Emma Bradley are now parents to little Eden, yet 71 year old Rose, behind bars serving a whole life term, will never meet her newest grandchild due to Stephen severing all contact with his notorious mother. Despite the trepidation of Emma's kin over their romance, given Stephen's past conviction in 2004 for underage sex offences, the couple forged ahead. The 51 year old who once lived in the gruesome family home confessed: "There's a bit of my dad in me." His infamous father, Fred West, committed a series of murders with Rose between 1967 and 1987 in Gloucestershire. In 1995, Fred was discovered deceased in his cell. Nearly three decades into her incarceration, Rose has reportedly ceased efforts to contest her judgment since 2001 and seems to accept her fate in prison. Now, insiders relay to The Sun that Stephen and Emma plan to exchange vows come August at Newport's Celtic Manor hotel, reports the Mirror. Despite this happy occasion, it is understood from a source that Emma's family remains unsupportive of the match, discomforted by Stephen and citing "a rift" created in the family. Emma, a trained nurse stationed at Gloucester Royal Hospital, brings two daughters from a former relationship into the fold. Following unsettling reports indicating that Rose may be struggling with her health and has been transferred to a disabled room in prison "because she can barely walk," Emma disclosed that she and her partner were oblivious as they maintain no contact. Acknowledging that they've watched the new Netflix documentary Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story, Emma revealed that her fiancé Stephen "doesn't want to say anything because his main priority is the little ones." She elaborated: "He is adamant, at this time of his life he's got a young family to protect." Stephen, himself a grandfather, has eight children from two previous marriages. As for Rose's experiences behind bars, an insider divulged to The Sun: "She never really leaves the wing she's held on and is escorted all the time by prison officers if she goes anywhere. Sometimes she sits in the communal areas on her own. "No one talks to her because everyone knows who she is and what she did, even if she has changed her name. When I was there, she tried to make friends with the other women and gave them gifts, like vapes, but she was rejected. She likes to watch nature documentaries on the TV in her cell, especially ones about birds." In an effort to distance herself from her heinous acts, it's purported that West shelled out £36 to officially adopt the name Jennifer Jones. Reports suggest she went through the deed poll process last December, expressing to acquaintances that it represents a step towards moving forward. Nonetheless, her true identity remains common knowledge at the all-female HMP New Hall near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Some prisoners reject her overtures of companionship, leading her to consume tomato soup solitarily in her cell for breakfast, followed by prolonged periods of knitting and conversing with the television due to her limited mobility. West is currently detained in New Hall's designated section called Rivendell House, where she occupies one of the 30 en-suite cells available to inmates, each furnished with a laptop for ordering food. Inspection reports suggest that the shared spaces in this unit are "more inviting" compared to other areas within the prison.

His childhood friend Matt opted for a white button-down short-sleeved shirt, grey pants and white sneakers for his outing. Damon grew out the grey beard to portray Odysseus in director Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey. Filming started in late February on the film, which also stars, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron, though it's unclear if filming has yet to wrap. Affleck and Damon portray Miami cops whose team's trust begins to fray upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house in Joe Carnahan's crime drama premiering January 16 on Netflix. 'The Rip came out of a deeply personal experience that my friend went through, both as a father and as head of tactical narcotics for the Miami Dade police department,' Carnahan told Tudum last Saturday. 'It's inspired in part by his life and then, by my enduring love for those classic seventies cop thrillers that really valued the character and interpersonal relationships and became touchstones of that era — films like Serpico and Prince of the City and more recently, Michael Mann's Heat.' Sasha Calle, Néstor Carbonell, Lina Esco, Scott Adkins, and Kyle Chandler will also appear in The Rip. The Boston besties co-produced Bill Condon's $30M-budget remake of West End musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, starring Ben's second ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, which hits US theaters October 10.
