Patrick's EastEnders wedding in jeopardy as worried Yolande issues warning
The couple were engaged last month and have set the date for their wedding – September 1st.
It comes after a particularly traumatic year, following church-leader Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) sexually assaulting Yolande in a store room at the community centre.
She bravely spoke up about her ordeal to friend Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe), and then found the courage to report his crime to the police.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of evidence, there was little that they could do.
However, soon after, a second survivor of his abuse came forward, with the CPS charging him with two counts of sexual assault. Before he could face justice, Clayton took his own life.
Patrick and Yolande struggled with intimacy in the wake of a horrific incident, with him later admitting that he didn't want her to draw any comparisons to her abuser.
After some words of wisdom from Denise Fox (Diane Parish), the pair reconciled and Patrick popped the question.
In tonight's episode, Yolande began to prepare invitations for the celebration, and was eyeing up tiaras and dresses in a flashy magazine.
Patrick noticed the whopping price tag attached, but promised his love that he would ensure she had the wedding of her dreams. More Trending
However, shortly afterwards, Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) warned Yolande that she'd seen Patrick placing bets on the horse racing in order to afford the day.

While she initially dismissed the concerns, she later headed to the pub and saw her husband-to-be browsing the sports section of the news paper with Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).
She told him that she didn't want him falling into a gambling addiction, and if she found out that he was splashing the cash again, she'd call the wedding off.

Ncuti Gatwa confesses one huge regret about Doctor Who role
Ncuti Gatwa exited his role as the 15th doctor earlier this year after just two years in the coveted role. Ncuti Gatwa has confessed his biggest regret on Doctor Who, two months after his two-season run in the iconic role came to an end. The Sex Education star secured the part of the 15th doctor in the beloved BBC sci-fi show but decided to walk away after just 18 months amid low viewing figures and a lack of hype around the series. The 32-year-old claimed he was leaving Doctor Who because he was 'getting old'. Speaking to Laura Kuenssberg, he said: "My body was tired. It takes a lot out of you. Physically, emotionally, mentally. It was time." The Rwandan-Scottish actor also admitted that he has some regrets about his time in the coveted role. On Wednesday's episode of The One Show, when quizzed by Alex Jones, he confessed he wishes he could have met the Doctor's most insidious enemies. He said: "I never got to fight a Dalek or a Cyberman. Just the crux of Doctor Who. Yeah, so… Might do that… Might go fight a Dalek". In the final episode of Doctor Who, which was aired on May 31 by Disney and the BBC, fans were left gobsmacked after Ncuti regenerated into an unexpected form that no one saw coming. The 15th doctor transformed into Billie Piper, who played the Doctor's assistant Rose Tyler between 2005 and 2010 alongside David Tennant. Whether she is the 16th Doctor or not has not been confirmed, the Metro reports. In a press release after the regeneration, the BBC said: "Just how and why she [Billie Piper] is back remains to be seen…" Billie teased that fans would just have to "wait and see" what she does next. Many noted that in the credits for the final episode, The Reality War, where Billie made the unexpected return, the actress was not credited as the Doctor as in all other cases, but simply: 'Introducing Billie Piper'. So it could be possible that Billie is returning in a smaller capacity. She told The Independent in 2024: "I wouldn't go back as a full-time thing, but I'd love to make another appearance." Meanwhile, in a statement announcing his exit, Ncuti - who is the first Doctor since Christopher Eccleston to act in fewer than three seasons - said: "You know when you get cast, at some point you are going to have to hand back that sonic screwdriver and it is all going to come to an end, but nothing quite prepares you for it." He added: "There are no words to describe what it feels like to be cast as the Doctor, nor are there words to explain what it feels like to be accepted into this iconic role that has existed for over 60 years and is truly loved by so many across the globe." Gatwa thanked fans for making it a 'touching experience', adding: '"I've loved every minute of it, but now is the time to hand over the keys to that beloved blue box and let someone else take control and enjoy it every bit as much as I have. "'ll truly miss it, and forever be grateful to it, and everyone that has played a part in my journey as the Doctor." Ncuti made it known he was keen to fight a Dalek as he previously told Entertainment Weekly early doors: "What on earth would be the point of me being Doctor Who if I never fight the Daleks?" Despite this, the famous villains never showed up on screen during his short tenure and neither did Cybermen and the Master. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! While the next series of Doctor Who has not officially been confirmed, it's been reported that the BBC will continue on with the series regardless of whether Disney are up for future collaborations or not. This came after rumours that Disney could be withdrawing its partnership due to low viewing figures. However, fans will be reassured to know that showrunner Russell T Davies has reportedly already planned the next two seasons, with scripts for season 16 almost finished and the 17th season in the works. The One Show airs every weekday at 7pm.

Killer Robert on the run in early Emmerdale ITVX release as he strikes again
This article contains spoilers for tonight's Emmerdale, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) only recently returned to the Emmerdale village after a stint in prison, and already he is in danger of being sent back. Poor Robert is the only one who has caught on to John Sugden's (Oliver Farnworth) sinister behaviour, with the killer having fooled everyone else. In tonight's episode, things got heated between the brothers as Robert tried to convince the Woolpack regulars that John was bad news, but to no avail. It began when Ross Barton (Michael Parr) revealed that Robert was to blame for the break-in at the farm that left Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) terrified. As the family launched into Robert for his actions, John argued that they just wanted to help him, which only rubbed Robert the wrong way. He was quick to turn on ex-husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), pointing out that they know each other better than he would ever know John. As John began to gaslight and insist that Robert was just paranoid, Robert stormed out – though this wasn't the end of their confrontation. Later, the men bumped into each other and Robert wasted no time in taunting John, determined that Aaron and Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) would find out the truth eventually. As Robert promised to take him down, John lashed out, strangling his brother and warning him to watch who he crosses or he'll end up back in prison. However, Robert wasn't going to let John have the last laugh, and he quickly hit him over the head with a wrench, knocking him out cold. It wasn't long before Victoria and Aaron arrived and called an ambulance, while Robert remained frozen in horror, before fleeing the scene. More Trending With John stable in hospital, Victoria left a message for Robert, begging him not to run away and get himself in more trouble. Despite hearing Victoria's pleas, Robert felt he had no choice but to leave, and drove off in a hurry. View More » Will he come back and face the music, or is he gone for good? Cat Deeley's response to 'bent' marriage before Patrick Kielty wedding ring confession
This Morning presenter Cat Deeley and RTÉ One host Patrick Kielty announced their separation after 13 years of marriage in a joint statement earlier this week Cat Deeley once confessed that her wedding ring wasn't freshly bought for her when she married RTÉ One's The Late Late show host, Patrick Kielty. Instead, the unique item has a sentimental meaning behind it, which dates back to the 1940s. While a guest on the Outspoken Beauty podcast, the 48-year-old dived into many topics about her life including motherhood, her beauty secrets, and her career. On the subject of confidence, host Nicola Bonn said to Cat: "I think a lot of people would say you are a traditional beauty, but I like that, I love imperfections as well. "Like, my wedding ring is bent now and it's got a little diamond missing but I'm like, no, that's like marriage, marriage is a bit bent." Agreeing with Nicola, Cat replied: "Exactly." The This Morning presenter, who fronts the ITV show with Ben Shephard, went on to dive into details about her meaningful wedding ring. She explained in 2020: "My wedding ring is actually my nan's wedding ring. And it says, I think, 'Lil and Jim 1942' in it. "I think my grandad got it from under the counter because there was no gold because it was after the war, so very similar." The on-screen regular and 54-year-old Patrick married at an intimate ceremony in Rome back in 2012, with their close family and friends present. Together they share two sons, Milo, nine, and James, six, who the pair keep away from the public eye. Earlier this week, the long-term couple announced they had separated after 13 years of marriage. In a joint statement, they said via a spokesperson: "We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. "We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. "There will be no further comment." Since the announcement, both presenters have remained silent on their respective social media pages. Cat will also avoid being on-screen as the news settles publicly, due to her scheduled break from ITV amid the summer term. Patrick's last public post about his wife was back in 2024 when she replaced Holly Willoughby on the show. Alongside a reel of pictures of her on Instagram, he wrote: "I didn't know what a morning person actually was until I met this woman. "She gets up every day with a smile on her face. [At] 5.30am, whistling in the shower, smile on her face. "Then downs two coffees, and gives you the look. The 'What the f**k's wrong with you, let's do this'." He added: "It's not a pretend smile. And it's not just some mornings. It's every morning. Which is b****y difficult cos she's married to me. "I should also mention she likes a chat. To anyone. About anything. Anywhere. If there's anyone in the world made for a show called @thismorning, it's this human." Patrick concluded the post by wishing his wife all the best in her new role, and jokingly added: "Strap yourself in @benshephardofficial. And welcome to my world. We couldn't be prouder of you @catdeeley Go get 'em mama!".
