Shaughna Phillips gives fresh details of second pregnancy shock with jailbird boyfriend
Shaughna Phillips has revealed she was shocked to learn she was pregnant a second time - as it all happened so fast. The 31-year-old is already a mother to two-year-old daughter Lucia - who she shares with former estate agent Billy Webb.
Reality show fans will know Shaughna shot to fame in 2020 when she was a contestant on the sixth season of ITV's Love Island. She later fell for Billy - who was jailed in 2023 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine - worth at least £360,000.
While Billy was sentenced to nine years behind bars - with his trial taking place in the thick of Shaughna's first pregnancy - he is soon to be given early release from his jail term. While behind bars, however, he and Shaughna have managed to conceive their second child - who is expected to arrive in November.
Opening up about the conception, Shaughna has explained that she and Billy discussed their plans to expand their little family. However, the Love Island beauty was left stunned by just how quickly she fell pregnant the second time.
In a new interview, she joked that she kept one pregnancy test company in business as she bought so many tests just to be ready to find out if she and Billy had been successful or not. And she also revealed she was stunned to see a positive result soon after they agreed to try a second time.
She told The Sun:"I was trying. It was my first attempt at, I guess, getting pregnant, like actively trying. And so I knew that there was a chance, but I've probably kept Clear Blue in business.
"If you saw my Amazon orders, I was ordering test after test after test. It was actually ridiculous. So, yeah, I knew that there was a chance. But I really didn't expect it to happen on the first try. Like, I'm very lucky in that sense."
The reality star's latest interview comes after she already opened up to The Mirror about her second pregnancy plans. She revealed she had been tracking her ovulation to boost her chances of conceiving, and said she was stunned that her baby dream came true so quickly.
'It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,' she told us when she was already four-and-a-half months pregnant. 'I was like, 'You know what? Why not? Let's just see'. And literally, the next day, I said to Billy, 'I think I'm pregnant.''
And she said: 'I found out very, very early on. I was doing maybe five tests a day. I'm not even exaggerating.'
Shaughna said Billy was allowed out from jail on home visits for 'a few days' each month. And while she has so far been forced to raise her daughter as a single parent, she shared her hope that Billy will be released in time for their new arrival.
'I know the date that he's due to be home, but I'm not saying it just because anything could happen,' she admitted cautiously. 'But hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.'
Last month, Shaughna discussed the gender of her unborn second child during a Q&A with her Instagram followers. One fan asked: "So pleased for you! Are you going to find out the gender?" Shaughna shared a screengrab of herself from a longer video where she was seen with her mouth wide open in shock. She wrote: "We do know the gender, this was my reaction."
The star also revealed she will be undergoing a C-Section after having a 'rough' birth with daughter Lucia.
Speaking about Lucia's birth, she said: "Induction, 2 days labour, pushed for an hour and she was not moving, She got really stressed and was rushed for forceps which FAILED because she turned around, and then she was rushed for an emergency C-Section and ended up with a postpartum haemorrhage."

Has Jay Blades left The Repair Shop? TV presenter's absence explained
Jay Blades began fronting The Repair Shop upon its inception in 2017 but stepped back from filming the BBC One hit show last year amid a number of personal issues Jay Blades has been the face of The Repair Shop since it began in 2017 - however, those tuning into the show may be confused as to why the TV presenter is missing and when he stepped back from the show. The TV presenter appeared in court today via video link on a controlling or coercive behaviour charge shortly, which he denies, after being charged with two counts of rape. Jay Blades initially quit social media in April last year after the murder of his uncle. He wrote on Instagram: "I've just been to my uncle's funeral, he was murdered a few weeks ago. Really, super nice guy, shouldn't have happened to him, but it really affected me. "So what I'm intending on doing is this... I'm coming off social media for a bit, and I'll be back in a bit. Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out." Shortly afterwards in May 2024, it was reported that Blades was taking a break from TV following the breakdown of his marriage and his uncle's shock murder, with the BBC show "carrying on without him". It came after the TV star's wife of 18 months, fitness influencer Lisa-Marie Zbozen, announced that she was leaving him. A source told The Sun at the time: "Jay has taken a step back and is having a break from filming The Repair Shop. His uncle's murder in March and the breakdown of his marriage means he has decided to take some time out. "The Repair Shop is carrying on without him for now and the other repairers are hard at work. People who worked with Jay said they were shocked to hear his marriage to Lisa has ended. It was not well known at all among the people who work on the show." Blades last appeared on The Repair Shop in episodes of the show's 13th series, having appeared in episode 11 back in September. The BBC is yet to confirm whether Blades will return to the show. While Blades was previously the show's foreman, that role is now shared between experts Will Kirk and Dominic Chinea. The Mirror has reached out to the BBC for comment. On Tuesday, Blades appeared at Worcester Crown Court via video link for a preliminary hearing in relation to the controlling or coercive behaviour charge. Blades, who wore animal-print spectacles, a grey suit and a blue polka-dot tie, spoke only to confirm his name during a short hearing. The TV star denied engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour towards his estranged wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen between January 1 2023 and September 12 last year and he will face a trial at a later date. In a statement on Tuesday, police also confirmed separate charges of rape. The force said: 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on 13 August 2025.' Prior to that, West Mercia Police confirmed charges against the 55-year-old presenter, who stepped back from hosting The Repair Shop last year, and said that a magistrates' court date is set for Wednesday 13 August. "Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape," a spokesperson for the force told The Mirror. "He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025." Blades, who was awarded an MBE in the 2021 Birthday Honours for his services to crafts has three children; a daughter from his first marriage and two sons from previous relationships. The TV star is best known for presenting The Repair Shop, Money for Nothing and Jay Blades' Home Fix, and co-presenting Jay and Dom's Home Fix. He has also fronted features with Sir David Jason and Dame Judi Dench. He was said to have signed up to new ITV show Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters before his arrest. However, the show was reportedly thrown into chaos after allegations emerged with bosses taking swift action to remove Blades. 'Attracting a popular BBC star to be in the new ITV series was a big win for bosses," a source told the Sun. 'But as soon as Jay Blades was arrested in March 2024, they knew they had to make a quick decision about the future of the show. 'He was given the boot. Producers got lucky as they hadn't started filming or doing any promotion yet so were able to replace him with someone else." In October 2022 the dad-of-three was the lead presenter for a special edition of the BBC series featuring the newly crowned King Charles. He then worked on a 15-part restoration series with Only Fools and Horses star Sir David Jason.
