Tirupati: The rituals for Pushpayagam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati commenced with Ankurarpanam and Senadhipathi Utsavam on Tuesday evening at 5.30 pm.
The procession of the divine commander in chief, Sri Vishwaksena was held around temple streets.
On July 2, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed at 9.30 am, followed by Pushpayagam from 1 pm to 4 pm with a range of variety of flowers to the deities.
Later, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm, Swamy along with Ammavarlu will bless devotees
Deputy EO Shanti, AEO Muni Krishna Reddy, temple officials and priests participated.

Tirumala: This year the Annual Brahmotsavam of Lord Venkateswara will be held for nine days. A major religious congregation, which attracts hundreds of thousands of devotees all over country, will be held for nine days from September 24 to October 2. TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary held a meeting with heads of all departments on the elaborate arrangemens to be made for the smooth and successful conduct of the nine-day festival. Speaking on the occasion, Chowdary said expecting heavy rush of devotees to witness the nine-day festival, the TTD cancelled VIP break darshan and privilege darshan to cope with a rush. The privilege darshans including senior citizens, physical challenged, parents with infants, NRIs, or donors during this period were suspended. The nine-day festival schedule is as follows: September 16, 2025: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, September 23, Ankurarpanam, Dwajarohanam, September 28 Garuda Vahanam, October 1 Rathotsavam and Oct 2 Chakrasnanam. Vahana Sevas will be held from 8 am to 10 am and 7 pm to 9 pm daily. The Additional EO asked the officials to coordinate with vigilance and police departments for tight security and smooth traffic management, prepare roadmaps and parking layouts. Extensive Annaprasadam distribution arrangements will be made at galleries, queue lines and key locations Engineering department was asked to take up works based on pilgrim needs and ensure clean and functional toilets in all galleries with additional sanitation staff. The department staff was asked to arrange decorative lighting, fruit and flower displays to attract pilgrims. In connection with the Brahmotsavams, young Srivari Sevaks are being invited to offer quality services to pilgrims. Movement of two-wheelers will be restricted on Tirumala ghat roads from 9 pm on September 27 to 6 am on September 29 in view of Garuda Seva on September 28. The Additional EO asked the officials to ensure adequate stock of laddus based on expected footfall. Shastri, and other officials participated in this meeting.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up for the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara scheduled from September 24 to October 2. Chairing a high-level review meeting with the heads of various departments, TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Thursday urged the officials to prepare a detailed roadmap and complete the arrangements in strict adherence to the time schedule. 'Garuda Vahanam' on September 28 The Brahmotsavams will commence with 'Ankurarpanam' on September 23, followed by 'Dwajarohanam' (flag hoisting) on September 24. Key events include 'Garuda Vahanam' on September 28, 'Rathotsavam' on October 1, and 'Chakrasnanam' on October 2. The daily vahana sevas will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the festival period. Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, the prelude festival, will be organised on September 16. Except for those dignitaries arriving in person for darshan, the TTD decided to cancel VIP darshans during the festival period. Similarly, certain privileged darshan formats like those extended for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, parents with infants, NRIs, and donors also will remain suspended during the period. Personnel of the Vigilance and Police departments were instructed to implement a robust security plan, including streamlined traffic management, roadmaps, and parking arrangements. Priority would be attached to the queue line management, distribution of 'anna prasadam' (free meal), and maintenance of hygiene along the mada streets. The aesthetic decorations, including electric illuminations, floral and fruit displays, would be organised to enhance the devotional ambiance. The TTD also plans to invite young volunteers to serve as Srivari Sevaks, so as to assist in delivering quality services to the pilgrims. Curbs on two-wheelers The two-wheeler movement on Tirumala ghat roads would be prohibited from 9 p.m. on September 27 to 6 a.m. on September 29. The TTD also instructed the officials to stock adequate quantities of laddus to meet the demand during the Brahmotsavams.

Tirupati: The three-day annual Jyestabhishekam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati concluded on Tuesday with the grand Kavacha Samarpana to the Utsava deity. The rituals began with Suprabhatam and darshan for devotees. Sri Govindaraja Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken to the Kalyana Mandapam. From 8 am to 11.30 amM, rituals like Sata Kalasa Snapanam, Mahashanti Homam, Tirumanjanam, Kavacha Pratishtha and Akshatarohanam were performed amidst Vedic chanting. The Kavacha Samarpana was performed from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm. In the evening, from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, the deity was taken in a procession around the temple streets accompanied by Ubhaya Nachiyars. Tirumala Peethadhipathis Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy and Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Dy EO V R Shanti, AEO K Munikrishna Reddy, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated.
