Notes:
Since the group's debut, OneRepublic has amassed over 5 billion streams on Spotify alone. The band released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud, in 2007, including the 20 million selling hit single 'Apologize,' which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and earned them a GRAMMY® nomination. The group's 2009 sophomore album, Waking Up, featured the smash singles 'All the Right Moves,' 'Secrets' and 'Good Life.' Shortly after in 2013, the band released their certified-platinum album, Native, which included the No. 1 hit and 41 million selling single 'Counting Stars.' OneRepublic released Oh My My, their fourth album in 2016 and their fifth album, Human, in 2021.
In 2022, OneRepublic released their smash hit 'I Ain't Worried,' which was featured in the blockbuster hit, Top Gun: Maverick and boasts over 3 billion streams. In April of 2024, the group released their smash hit single with David Guetta, 'I Don't Wanna Wait,' which has amassed over 130 million streams globally since its release. They also shared 'Nobody (from Kaiju No.8),' which serves as the end credit song for the hugely successful manga-turned-Anime series Kaiju. No 8. Additionally, the group collaborated with Italian Electronic group Meduza and German artist Leony for the release of 'Fire,' the official song for the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament. Following the release of these singles, OneRepublic debuted their sixth album, Artificial Paradise, in July, featuring hits like 'Hurt' and 'Sink or Swim.' In the fall they released the deluxe of the album, which included their collaboration with Jelly Roll and acoustic versions of their hit songs. Most recently, the group released their track, 'Chasing Paradise', with Kygo to rave reviews.
OneRepublic is singer/songwriter and lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keys player Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher.
Zara Larsson, 'One of pop's biggest and outspoken young stars' (The Guardian), provokes and pushes pop culture forward, with enlightened and energised anthems that soar and seduce all at once. With every move, she continues to quietly make history and break records: her platinum-certified 2017 full-length, So Good, notably stands out as one of the most-streamed debuts on Spotify by a female artist ever. Zara's growing catalogue boasts one smash after another, from 'Never Forget You', 'Lush Life', and 'Ain't My Fault' to Clean Bandit collaboration 'Symphony'.
Along the way, she has received awards and nominations ranging from the Swedish Grammys, BRITS and MTV EMAs to even gracing the stage of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Larsson has entered a brazen new era with 'Pretty Ugly'. The electro-blasted single and its gloriously messy music video lean all the way into the idea that — as Zara sings — 'sometimes a girl don't wanna be well-behaved.' The new song arrives ahead of Zara's fourth international album — coming later this year.

NZ Band Tadpole Announce New Single

Auckland, New Zealand – 1 August 2025: Multi-platinum rock trail-blazers Tadpole end a 19-year studio silence with 'George', a blistering reinvention of Headless Chickens' 1994 chart-topper. Reuniting with legendary producer Malcolm Welsford —who helmed both Tadpole's seminal albums The Buddhafinger and The Medusa, as well as the original 'George' sessions— the band fuse hook-heavy riffs with cutting-edge production—proving they remain a vital force in Aotearoa rock. Taking the track's sonic punch to the next level, mastering duties were entrusted to Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound. The Grammy-winning engineer—whose credits include Green Day's American Idiot, Evanescence's Fallen, Deftones' Around the Fur and Pantera's Far Beyond Driven —brings his trademark clarity and stadium-ready impact to Tadpole's modern spin on a Kiwi classic. The single follows Tadpole's triumphant 2024 reunion, which reignited fans across the country and introduced powerhouse vocalist Lauren Marshall to the line-up—signalling a bold new chapter for the near-triple-platinum outfit. Lauren Marshall (vocals): 'Recording George has been an exciting experience for me, as it's the first song I've been a part of with the band. Collaborating on such an iconic Kiwi track as my introduction to this new era of Tadpole has been special. I'm grateful to be working with such an awesome team and putting my mark on our version. It's been cool to learn and grow through the process—George has been a massive part of Tadpole's musical history, and I'm looking forward to this next part of the journey!' Chris Yong (guitar): 'We've loved playing George since our early days. Recording it now feels like both a tribute and a statement that Tadpole is fully switched on in 2025.' Malcolm Welsford (producer/mixer): 'Getting back in the studio with Tadpole to record George was electric. There's a real power in returning to rock production with a band that helped define the scene—and hearing that energy come alive again was something special. This track is raw, urgent, and unmistakably Tadpole.' WHY 'GEORGE'? Originally released as a double A-side with 'Cruise Control,' Headless Chickens' 'George' spent four weeks at No. 1 on the New Zealand singles chart and remains a cornerstone of the nation's alternative canon. Tadpole's 2025 version sharpens the song's menacing groove with razor-edged guitars, Marshall's soaring vocal, and Jensen's high-definition master—bridging 1990s alt-rock attitude with modern studio muscle. LOOKING AHEAD 'George' is the first taste of new material leading into the 25th-anniversary celebrations of The Buddhafinger later this year—promising more singles, festival dates, and surprises from one of NZ rock's most storied names.

IDLES Share 'Rabbit Run' From Darren Aronofsky's New Film 'Caught Stealing'

[31st July 2025] Drawing inspiration from the gritty energy of the 1990s New York punk scene that permeates Academy Award® nominee Darren Aronofsky's upcoming crime caper, Caught Stealing, which will be released theatrically by Sony Pictures on August 29, IDLES have contributed four original tracks to the project's soundtrack as well as having recorded the full film score composed by Rob Simonsen (The Whale, Deadpool & Wolverine). Also included is a striking cover of the Junior Marvin-penned 'Police and Thieves', famously covered by The Clash on their 1977 self-titled debut album. The soundtrack will be available digitally on August 29th. IDLES and Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, Black Swan) quickly formed a creative kinship, united by a deep mutual respect for each other's work. When Aronofsky began developing Caught Stealing he turned to his favourite band to shape the film's sonic identity. Together, IDLES, Aronofsky, and Simonsen formed a uniquely exhilarating collaboration, pushing and pulling from one another's areas of expertise to elevate the greater whole. Like many of the band's best songs, lead track 'Rabbit Run' is a lean, anxious punk ripper that starts in a panic and ends in defiance. Fuelled by minimal, motorik drums and distorted guitars, it mirrors the film's central theme of confronting fear head-on. IDLES frontman Joe Talbot barrels through like a man being chased, until he turns and charges straight into the fire. In Caught Stealing, Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) was a high-school baseball phenom who can't play anymore, but everything else is going okay. He's got a great girl (Zoë Kravitz), tends bar at a New York dive, and his favourite team is making an underdog run at the pennant. When his punk-rock neighbour Russ (Matt Smith) asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters. They all want a piece of him; the problem is he has no idea why. As Hank attempts to evade their ever-tightening grip, he's got to use all his hustle to stay alive long enough to find out… Caught Stealing is directed by Aronofsky from a screenplay by Charlie Huston, based on his book of the same name. The film stars Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D'Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Benito Martínez Ocasio, and Carol Kane. Watch the official trailer here. Earlier this year, IDLES were nominated for three Grammys – Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance – for their fifth album, TANGK. It was the band's second #1 on the Official U.K. Album Chart, following 2021's two-time Grammy-nominated CRAWLER. IDLES is Joe Talbot (lead vocals), Mark Bowen (lead guitar), Lee Kiernan (rhythm guitar), Adam Devonshire (bass), and Jon Beavis (drums). The band will play their biggest hometown shows to date in Bristol, U.K., when they headline a two-day block party in Queens Square on Aug 1 and 2. Afterward, they'll support Deftones and My Chemical Romance in stadiums and arenas and will also appear at Riot Fest in Chicago and Shaky Knees in Atlanta.
