‘Menace to Society:' Man Says Ford, Nissan, and Chevy Make the ‘3 Most Reckless Cars on the Road.' Are You Driving One?
post
, Alshvn OnlyUp (@alshun.smith.35) humorously revealed his picks for the top three most reckless cars on the road.
The post went viral, generating over 330,000 views as of this writing.
What Are the 3 Most Reckless Cars on the Road?
'These cars change lanes like they are playing GTA. No signal, no warning,' Alshvn begins.
The first car on the list is the Nissan Altima. Alshvn starts out by calling this car the 'menace to society.'
'If you drive one of these, your license is probably suspended, [the] check engine light is on, and your bumper is hanging on for dear life. There is no telling what lane you are in or where you are heading, but you will get there aggressively,' Alshvn jokes.
The second car he features is the legendary Ford Crown Victoria.
'If you are rolling in one of these, chances are you are from the hood or you move like it. Oh, that spotlight by the driver's door, that probably doesn't even work, [but] as soon as you pull on someone, they are slowing down thinking you are the police,' Alshvn shares.
Last, but definitely not least, the Chevy Impala rounds out the list.
'In this car, you either fly past everyone in the fast lane or on the side of the road with your hazards on since your transmission just went out. There's no in between,' Alshvn claims.
Alshvn told
Motor1
, 'The video was made with humor in mind. I picked the Altima, Crown Vic, and Impala because of some of the wild things I've seen—both on the road and online. It wasn't meant to offend anybody, just to poke fun at the stereotypes in car culture. I believe that mixing humor with real car talk is part of what makes content like this connect.'
Gotta Be Careful With Those Altimas
If you aren't already aware, the Nissan Altima is a car that is very negatively stereotyped among the online car community,
GT Planet
reports. According to the stereotype, you'll see them weaving through traffic at high speeds and blowing red lights,
Autopian
shares.
These reckless maneuvers have earned the car a bad reputation among the car community on
. Nissan Altima drivers have been targeted by
meme
culture for being bad drivers and having a negative credit score.
The viewers on the post also agreed with Alshvn's take.
'Nissan Altima aka the hood hellcat,' one commenter shared.
'Facts I'll pull over anytime I see a Nissan Altima, stay away,' another replied.
The Legendary Crown Vic
The Ford Crown Victoria was a popular choice for police departments in North America and even won the Best Cop Car Award,
Forbes
reports.
Most police departments parted ways with the Crown Vic in 2011 due to not having Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), the
International Security Driver Association
reports. The end of the era left many Crown Vic Police Inspectors on the streets for everyday drivers to use.
Some people
dislike
the Crown Vic because of its association with the police.
The Chevy Impala Fast Lane
'Chevrolet Impala you've convinced yourself it's a luxury car and actually call it that,' a Reddit user roasts. This luxury reputation was partially influenced by rappers in the late 80s and 90s rapping about the mid-60s models. Owning and driving an early to mid-1960s model Impala was viewed as a status symbol, according to a Quora expert. These Impalas were rare and fast, with a beautiful design.
Chevy has had multiple Impala models with transmission issues, according to Endurance Warranty. The issues have included transmission failure, slippage, and rough shifting.

Popcorn bots and ‘Electric Sauce': What to know about Elon Musk's Tesla Diner
Elon Musk's long-awaited diner and drive-in opened Monday in Hollywood, California. And, even though the venue didn't open until 4:20 pm, customers were lined up early to get in. The Tesla Diner & Drive-In is many things in one. The venue includes a diner, a drive-in movie theatre, as well as a charging station. It also manages to be both futuristic and retro, and it is definitely over the top. In addition to charging Teslas, customers can enjoy hamburgers, milkshakes, and other classic diner food which comes in Cybertruck-like boxes. Two 45-foot LED movie screens, which sync with Tesla speakers, hope to attract movie-goers to the scene. In typical Musk-fashion, the venue looks a bit like a spaceship — perhaps a hint that the experience aims to be out of this world. There is, of course, tons of Tesla-branded merchandise on site, as well as an Optimus robot. On Monday, a Cybertruck wrapped with DOGE vehicle wrap was spotted parked at a charging station. Just before the opening, Musk was already projecting the project to be a huge success. 'If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, @Tesla will establish these in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long distance routes,' the CEO posted on X. Burgers are hot, but Tesla sales—and Musk's image—are cooling While the lines of excited customers seemed to imply excitement over the opening, it's tough to miss that it comes amid a fair amount of public scrutiny of the Tesla CEO. Musk's work with DOGE, an organization that facilitated mass layoffs and gutted funding for vital organizations like Medicare and Medicaid, the National Institute of Health, national parks, and more, has made him an even more polarizing figure than he already was. Subscribe to the Daily newsletter. Fast Company's trending stories delivered to you every day Privacy Policy | Fast Company Newsletters More recently, Musk fell out of favor with President Trump, resulting in the head of DOGE being ousted from his government role. A feud played out publicly, with the two men posting pointed attacks on social media. Musk blasted Trump's 'big, beautiful bill,' and just weeks ago, Trump said he was even mulling potentially deporting the Tesla CEO. And, while Elon Musk himself has been the subject of tons of scrutiny over his work in DOGE, the role may have impacted the Tesla brand, too. Tesla sales have slumped this year, too. From April to June, sales fell to 384,122 — a more than 13% drop from 443,956 in the same period last year. Musk has acknowledged that sales have slumped but brushed off bigger worries that the brand is doomed. 'The stock wouldn't be trading near all-time highs if things weren't in good shape,' he said while speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum in May. Still, given the Hollywood location, the showiness of the venue, and the multi-purposed nature of the facility, consumers may just put aside their distaste for the CEO long enough to enjoy it. Burgers, fries, and movies are not hard sells, after all. The lines outside of Musk's new venue certainly show that people are excited. Still, it's hard to say whether the enthusiasm will hold. In April, Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives slashed Tesla projections and noted at the time that Musk's government work had done irreversible damage to his brand, adding that Teslas are not just a car, but have 'become a political symbol globally.'

Everything You Need To Know About The 2025 Lexus GX
2025 Lexus GX Overtrail Sometimes, you need an SUV that feels like a luxury vehicle on a road trip. Other times, you want to leave civilization behind and take a 4x4 vehicle off road. It's not always easy to find one that works in both situations, but the 2025 Lexus GX ticks all the boxes. Debuting with an all-new body style in 2024, the Lexus GX features an attractive boxy shape and impressive capability both on- and off-road. Every Lexus GX is equipped with a turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 making 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, offering plenty of get-up-and-go for everything from smooth highways to rocky trails. The GX has long been a favorite in the off-road community, and it doesn't seem that will change any time soon. Take a look at my list of pros and cons below. 2025 Lexus GX Overtrail Lexus GX Pro: Trims For Luxury And Adventure The Lexus GX is available in six trim levels: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail, and Overtrail+. Those who don't plan to stray from pavement will be fine with the first four options and can choose the best version for them depending on how many amenities they want. For instance, a heated steering wheel is standard on GX Premium+ and massaging chairs start at Luxury level. Overtrail and Overtrail+ include all of the standard features on the Premium model, adding 18-inch wheels, a dynamic suspension system, off-road-focused drive modes, and a surround-view camera for safety on the trail. Plus--and this is important when you're hauling gear--the third row is deleted for these two trims, freeing up cargo space in the rear. And it's a significant difference: 45.6 cubic feet in Overtrail and Overtrail+ variants versus a minimalist 10.3 cubic feet in the trims that include three rows. 2025 Lexus GX Overtrail interior Lexus GX Pro: Luxurious And Streamlined Interior Lexus designers do a spectacular job creating a vehicle that competes with the likes of the Infiniti QX80 and Land Rover Defender. One of my favorite available features is the 'cool box' in the console that works like a small cooler to keep your drinks and snacks cold. It's a great place for chocolate, too. Heated and ventilated seats are standard even on the base GX, which is a nice touch. There's a handy 120-volt household outlet in the cargo area for appliances or camping gear. Upgrade to the Luxury+ trim for truly premium amenities like an adjustable-tint glass sunroof and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. 2025 Lexus GX map graphics are crisp and clear Lexus GX Pro: Technology Is Intuitive And Current Every GX has a 14-inch touchscreen with the newest infotainment technology available from the Toyota group. It was a big deal when Lexus replaced its glitchy touchpad with the new touchscreen in 2021, and I've been impressed with it ever since. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the climate controls are set up smartly at the bottom of the screen. I like the way the climate knobs are lit and large enough to turn easily. Using the infotainment system is simple and not oversaturated with deep menu options. Interior of the Lexus GX Lexus GX Con: A Few Cabin Functionality Issues The vents are maddeningly inflexible, which drove me crazy in the Texas heat. I wanted the air to blow right on my face to cool me off, and I couldn't seem to get it just where I wanted it. Minor, but when you live in the South it's an important distinction. Lexus GX Con: Fuel Economy Is Middling The GX is powered by an internal combustion engine that's punchy and quick, and scaling mid-size rocky hills with no problems. It's not known for its fuel economy, however. The EPA estimates the GX is good for 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway, not to mention that premium fuel is recommended. If a fuel-sipping vehicle is a priority for you, take a look at the four-cylinder-powered Toyota Land Cruiser instead. Lexus GX Verdict: Definitely More Pros Than Cons For 2025, the Lexus GX carries on as a stellar SUV for off- and on-road luxury. If you're an adventurer, don't think twice about choosing Overland or Overland+, and you won't be disappointed.

Video shows monster truck wheel fly off mid-performance, damaging multiple cars
A fan's video captured the moment a monster truck's massive tire flew off during a performance in Washington state. The incident occurred at the Malicious Monster Truck Tour, a three-day event at Thunderbird Stadium in Bremerton, Washington. Video shows a huge tire fly off a red, white and blue truck with "Veteran" emblazoned on its side as the vehicle jumped over a ridge. The tire bounced and rolled, eventually flying into the stadium's parking lot at the end of the track. No one was injured in the incident, but multiple parked cars were damaged, event organizers said. One car was directly hit by the tire and was crushed, local media reported. A second vehicle sustained damage as well. Event organizers said on social media that the truck involved was using "industry-standard wheel restraints." Monster truck tires can weigh between 800 and 900 pounds each, according to Popular Mechanics. "Fact is, there is no piece of metal in existence that will always stand up to the forces involved in monster truck competition," the organizers said in a statement. They said they contacted local officials and a fencing company to "collaborate on a plan of action to help reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future." Tyler Trinchini, who operates the Instagram page Monster Trucks Washington and shared video of the moment, told CBS News he has been to "plenty of monster truck shows" and had "never seen anything like this happen before." "Luckily, my car was not the one that was damaged," Trinchini said. "I'm just very thankful that no one was injured."
