Damson Idris Flirting With Amelia Dimoldenberg Goes Viral
While I wish I had come up with that ridiculous pun, the partial credit goes to Amelia Dimoldenberg on her first date with British actor Damson Idris.
On July 11, Amelia met up with Damson for a date at a Slim Chickens in the UK, and the internet instantly fell in love with their chemistry.
For the uninitiated, Amelia is a British media personality most well-known for her hilarious YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, where she takes celebrities like Addison Rae, Idris Elba, and Jonathan Bailey to a local chicken shop for an awkward, extremely flirty "date."
It only made sense that it was Damson's time to join Amelia at the chicken shop with his career on the rise following the series finale of Snowfall, and his new movie alongside Brad Pitt.
After Amelia began the date with her ridiculous pun, the pair exchanged flirty banter back and forth, before Damson complained that he was a bit warm. "It's hotter than Satan's toenails in here," he said.
Amelia quickly teased him for wearing a leather jacket and leather pants to the date, saying, "Rule number one: 'Don't wear leather pants to a date."
Damson coyly replied, "Or maybe you're the one making me hot."
While Damson was quick, he was certainly no match for the awkwardly witty Amelia, who dropped another pun, asking, "Driving super fast, did you ever feel like a Damson in distress?"
It was clear that Damson was about to be out-sassed.
Nerves seemingly getting the best of him, Damson prematurely asked Amelia, "What would you rate this date out of ten?"
"What would I rate this date out of ten?" she asked, causing Damson to nervously stumble, before adding, "We're still on it."
Giving Damson no time to recover, Amelia said, "I heard you want six kids. Is that right?" to which he replied, "Yes."
Amelia smiled and said, "You didn't want to check with me first?" And that took Damson over the edge, and he was overwhelmingly tickled.
It was evident that Amelia and Damson had a playful chemistry, but nothing could've prepared anybody (especially Amelia) for what happened at the end of the date. When she asked, "Is there a character you'd love to play?" he didn't miss a beat and responded, "Your boyfriend."
Then the 33-year-old actor grabbed Amelia's hand, looked her directly in the eye, and kissed it. She might've had the upper hand for most of the date, but Damson's kiss turned the tables.
Fans were instantly enamoured by every cute, flirtatious moment, many considering that Amelia might have finally met her match.
"Nothing i have to say about damson Idris is appropriate," one person wrote.
"I can't stop watching this. the way he's leaned back and doesn't take his eyes off her. the finger twirl. the way he purses his lips in satisfaction when she follows direction. this man is a fucking demon whore fr," another said.
Another person suggested Damson's undeniable charm is "diabolical behavior."
"See how charming he is, the snake that convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit was probably a Yoruba man," another person wrote.
One person wrote, "I love seeing the difference in male celebrity behavior before and after they get recognized as a heart throb."
Several others couldn't help but keep their focus on Amelia, who might be the main reason these chicken shop dates are always such a steamy success. "I love that her job is to literally just flirt with celebrities on these interviews," one person said.
Amelia's composure is top-notch because some folks "would've jumped across that table like a frog" when Damson kissed her hand.
Others couldn't get over that Damson didn't break eye contact with her when he kissed her hand.
Another person wrote, "Amelia is so good at what she does because every time she puts out a date the comments are like, 'they are such a good match! I've never seen her like this with anyone else!' like no baby it's just her. THIS, however."
Finally, someone wrote, "There are men dropping left and rigth to make amelia fall in love with them and this is the first time I see her actually blushing."

Boulder native Basho Mosko has been making fun educational music for kids for over a decade. "I was teaching a mommy and me kind of Spanish course, and they didn't have good materials," Mosko said. "And I was like, 'I can help you make materials.' So I started writing songs that taught languages and put them on YouTube." In the YouTube world, he's known as Basho and Friends. Mosko is completely self-taught and does most of his work right here in Colorado. "I'll do a lot of the scratch tracks here. I'll lay stuff out. Mosko's content has garnered more than 100 million views across platforms, and, while his songs are pretty catchy, Basho and Friends remains a passion project. Now, the popular YouTuber for kids is dropping a new album with new meaning. It's called "A Way to Be," and it was released Friday on Spotify, YouTube and other platforms where music lives. Tristan Rogers, who played super spy Robert Scorpio on 'General Hospital,' has died at 79
Tristan Rogers, who played legacy character Robert Scorpio on ABC's 'General Hospital,' died Friday, less than one month after he made a special appearance on the soap opera. He was 79. 'The entire 'General Hospital' family is heartbroken to hear of Tristan Rogers' passing,' said Frank Valentini, the show's executive producer, in a statement. 'Tristan has captivated our fans for 45 years and Port Charles will not be the same without him (or Robert Scorpio).' Born in Melbourne, Australia, Rogers' first foray into performing was in his early twenties and playing drums in a rock band with a group of friends. They weren't successful so Rogers turned to commercial work and modeling to earn some money. When the band dissolved, Rogers decided to give acting a try. After various roles in Australia, he also worked as a DJ and eventually moved to Los Angeles to try to break into Hollywood. He said casting directors were initially turned off by his accent but he eventually landed a two-day role on 'General Hospital' in 1980. 'I had no idea at the point how big the show was,' Rogers told fellow 'General Hospital' actor Maurice Benard on the YouTube show, 'State of Mind with Maurice Benard' in 2022. 'I had no name. I was brought in expressly to beat up the hero, Luke, (played by Anthony Geary), and then disappear,' Rogers said. His first day was half-over when then-executive producer Gloria Monty asked if he would like to stay on. They had no character written for him so for three weeks Monty asked him to just appear in scenes 'looking furtive, looking suspicious' until they came up with a storyline. It was decided he would play a spy known as 'CK8' and eventually he was given the name Robert Scorpio. The character would remain a fixture in Port Charles for the rest of Rogers' life, even when he wasn't a current cast member. Scorpio's on again/off again romance with Emma Samms' character, Holly Sutton, remained a favorite among fans. Scorpio also had a romance, and many storylines with another spy, Anna Devane, played by Finola Hughes. Scorpio and Devane shared a daughter, Robin, played by Kimberly McCullough. Samms returned to the show for a stint last fall where it was revealed that Scorpio was the father of her adult daughter, Sasha Gilmore (played by Sofia Mattson.) Rogers and Samms left the show together in November 2024 in scenes taped with a nod to 'Casablanca.' He returned to the show in July for one episode when Sasha arrived to his home in France with her new baby. It was then revealed that Rogers had lung cancer Rogers' other acting credits include 'The Bold and the Beautiful,' 'The Young & the Restless' and 'Studio City,' which won him outstanding supporting actor in a digital drama series at the Daytime Emmy Awards. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Parkerson, and a daughter and a son.

Wednesday's podcast set a record on YouTube for concurrent viewers - the number of individual people watching a live stream at the same time - with a peak of 1.3 million. As of Friday evening, the episode has surpassed 15 million views. The live stream crashed nearly two hours in with more than 1 million people watching as she answered more questions about her 12th album "The Life of a Showgirl." She revealed the album art on the podcast and went into detail with the Kelce brothers about what went into the album as well as featured guest artists. DATE NIGHTS: Travis Kelce finally posts Taylor Swift photos on Instagram Per Front Office Sports, people are catching parts of the episode on other platforms, too. Clips from the show have totaled more than 61 million views on X, 34.5 million on TikTok and 379 million on Instagram. The "New Heights" YouTube channel has also seen more than 400,000 new subscribers since the episode went live. The show's Instagram page surpassed 3 million followers as well. Swift's appearance with the Kelce brothers on "New Heights," was initially teased on Monday, Aug. 11, with a promo announcing Swift's new album. The "New Heights" podcast moved up to No. 1 on the Apple podcast charts before the episode became available. Swift, in a subsequent clip released in the lead-up to the episode's debut, also poked fun at "male sports fans" for showing up on the Kelces' podcast given the reception she has received at times for her appearances at Chiefs games. "I think we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it's more of me," Swift joked. Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating for the past two years and the couple remain a pop culture fascination ahead of the 2025 NFL season. Kelce's celebrity and the podcast he co-hosts with his brother has, in turn, skyrocketed in popularity. "New Heights" is reportedly worth $100 million after being licensed by Wonderly last year. Kelce admitted in a recent GQ cover story that his forays into Hollywood and entertainment might have played a role in why his production "slipped" the past two seasons. He had a cameo role in "Happy Gilmore 2" and one season as host of Amazon Prime Video's game show, "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" Swift, Kelce said, is more aligned with his goal of a bounce back year and another Super Bowl title with the Chiefs. Jason Kelce even introduced Swift to the "New Heights" audience as having won one Super Bowl alongside his younger brother. "I sort of made her a football fan," Travis Kelce told GQ. "She is the most engulfed fan now. She knows what the injury reports look like. She understands what special situations are, third and short – all these things because she just naturally loves to hear about my job."
