Two women are in critical condition after a two-car crash on the A82 in Stirling.Police Scotland said the collision, between a Ford Mondeo and an Audi A2, happened near the Falls of Falloch at about 13:40 on Saturday.Officers said a 35-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. A 60-year-old woman was also taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley following the incident, which happened between Ardlui and Crianlarich.
PC Ian Marshall said: "Our inquiries are continuing to establish the cause of this crash. I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact us."I would also ask any drivers on the road with dashcam from around the time of the crash to review their footage and please contact us if it holds anything relevant."

The alleged victim was found seriously injured in Glasgow last Friday. The 15-year-old was found hurt in Denbeck Street, in the city's Shettleston area, at around 10.30pm on May 29, 2025. ‌ He was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and has since been discharged. The 15-year-old suspect was charged with attempted murder when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday. ‌ The boy from Glasgow, who cannot be named for legal reasons, did not enter a plea. The alleged incident is said to have unfolded in Shettleston in the east end area of the city on Thursday, May 29. Police scrambled to the scene at around 10.30pm after the alarm was raised over reports of a knife assault. The boy was found bleeding on the pavement by shocked neighbours who rushed to his rescue while they waiting for emergency services. The boy was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. Police have now confirmed that a teenager, also 15, has been charged with attempted murder. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court sometime today. A statement from the force read: "A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Glasgow. "Around 10.30pm on Thursday, 29 May, officers received a report of another 15-year-old male having been found seriously injured in the Denbeck Street area of Glasgow. "Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with what were described as serious injuries. He has since been discharged. "The boy is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 5 June, 2025." Officers earlier appealed to anybody who may have witnessed the group to come forward. Detective Inspector Lesley-Ann McGee, from Shettleston CID, said: "This was a violent attack that left a teenage boy with serious injuries, and we are doing everything we can to trace those responsible. "I would urge anyone who saw what happened or noticed anything suspicious in the area to get in touch with police as soon as possible. "We're also keen to speak to anyone who may have private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage from Denbeck Street, Shettleston Road, Wellshot Road or the surrounding areas on Thursday night. "Any information, no matter how small, could help us as we continue our enquiries." Chief Inspector Ross Aitken, Area Commander for Shettleston and Easterhouse, said: "We recognise that this incident will be concerning to the local community. "At this time, we believe it was a targeted attack and there is no information to suggest any wider risk to the public. "There will be additional patrols in the area over the coming days to provide reassurance and support the ongoing inquiry. "I would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to our officers."
