And they were in attendance for a thrilling game. Edmonton came from down three goals in the first period to win it 5-4 in overtime, tying the series 2-2.
Kelce, a Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is a known hockey fan along with his brother Jason Kelce. And ever since Swift and Kelce began their high-profile romance in 2023, the 14-time Grammy Award winning singer has been known to pop in on big sporting events — including the last two Super Bowls — and cause an excited frenzy for fans.
There were rumblings ahead of Thursday's game that the couple might attend the final.
A helicopter landed near Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, ahead of the game. The VIP entrance to the area was also closed off and the media elevator was not available to be used for a period of time before pregame warmups began.
The pair was shown on the television broadcast during the first period of the game.

ATLANTA (AP) — With Michael Harris II finding his power stroke, Ronald Acuña Jr. hitting .375 after missing almost a full season and Marcel Ozuna fighting his way through a hip issue, the Atlanta Braves are hoping their offensive recovery has not come too late. Harris has hit homers in back-to-back games for the Braves, who have won three of their last four games at a crucial stretch of the season. Harris hit a three-run homer to tie the game and Ozuna added another three-run shot to give the Braves the lead in their 12-4 win over Colorado on Friday night. It was Ozuna's 11th homer, despite the sore hip. The Braves trailed 4-1 before recovering to beat the lowly Rockies after winning two of three games at Milwaukee — their first series win since May 16-18. The Braves (30-38) still have much ground to make up in the NL East. Scoring six or more runs in each of their most recent three wins has given manager Brian Snitker renewed reason for optimism. The Braves, who won the 2021 World Series, need a dramatic recovery to extend their streak of seven consecutive postseason appearances. 'These are big games, all of them,' Snitker said after Friday night's win before acknowledging it won't be easy to save the season after falling 10 games below .500, most recently at 28-38. The Braves are 14 games behind the first-place New York Mets and tied for third in the East with Washington. 'As we know, we've done it before (but) not this far back,' Snitker said. Acuña doubled on the first pitch from Germán Márquez and scored on Olson's sacrifice fly. Acuña added singles in the third and fifth innings for his third consecutive three-hit game. When asked what Acuña brings to the lineup, Harris said 'Energy. He's an MVP. You know the talent is there. He brings a lot of energy at the (leadoff) spot.' Acuña stole second base in the fifth on his first attempt since returning on May 23 after missing almost a full season following surgery on his left knee. 'I was wondering if he was on a restriction,' said Harris of Acuña's wait for his first steal. 'Obviously, the speed is still there.' It was Acuña's first stolen base since May 25, 2024 at Pittsburgh, a span of 385 days. It was an encouraging sign of confidence in the surgically repaired knee for Acuña, who was NL MVP in 2023 when he hit 41 homers and had 73 steals. 'He's hit the ground running since he's been back, that's for sure,' Snitker said. 'His at-bats have been not like he missed the significant amount of time he missed.' Harris, hitting only .238, has driven in 41 runs. He has hit three of his six homers in the last six games. Locally-made emotional support chickens land on Prime Minister Mark Carney's desk

(Photo: The Prime Minister's Office) Prime Minister Mark Carney now has his very own emotional support playoff chicken to hold onto when things get tough on the ice for his hometown's team. Carney was recently given a pair of bean-filled blue-and-orange chickens made by local crocheter Ashley Sinclair. Sinclair started making the soft, squishy 'emotional support chickens' during the 2024 playoffs to help with mental health during what can be a stressful time for hockey fans. 'They give you something to hold onto while you're trying to make it through overtime without having a heart attack,' Sinclair said. 'A little emotional support for what's been just a crazy roller coaster for fans.' The chickens took off quickly after she posted them to social media in April and she's sold hundreds since – with demand higher than ever. 'Everything kept snowballing and getting bigger and bigger,' Sinclair said. 'We're coming up on 1,500 chickens.' 'And then this week, I get this photo of Prime Minister Mark Carney with a chicken and I'm like gobsmacked,' she added. 'It's crazy.' Carney was gifted the two chickens by Senator Kris Wells, who bought a half-dozen earlier this year. 'He was very excited,' Wells said. 'Obviously we're both from Edmonton here, we grew up here, we're die-hard Edmonton Oilers hockey fans.' 'I said, 'I want you to keep one in the office and take one home, and so when you're watching the game, like everyone else in Edmonton and across Canada, you'll be able to take out some of the stress out on this chicken.' Wells said Carney was already aware of Sinclair and her chickens from watching the news and kept it close by during Thursday's heart-rate raising performance. 'I asked him if he threw it at the TV like I did,' Wells said. 'He said, 'No. He was much more restrained.' But he watched the game with the chicken nearby in case of emergency.' Edmonton Oilers support chicken Crocheted Edmonton Oilers emotional support chickens can be seen in Ashley Sinclair's craft room. She has sold almost 1,500 since posting them online earlier this year. (Amanda Anderson/CTV News Edmonton) Sinclair said it's been great to see the response the chickens have had. To help keep up with orders, she's enlisted seven more sets of hands. 'I have all these other crocheters that are now benefiting from these chickens and being able to provide that kind of opportunity where it's flexible work for people that need it, and it's having a huge positive impact,' she said. The team has also been giving back to the community. 'One of my crocheters also is a talented illustrator and she made an emotional support chicken sticker that we were selling with proceeds going to the Ben Stelter Foundation,' Sinclair said. 'On the day of Game 3, we were able to donate $1,018.' Orders for emotional support chickens can be made through Sinclair's Instagram Page.
