Sébastien Pocognoli not changing Union St Gilloise's preparation ahead of title deciding clash with Gent
Union St Gilloise can end a 90 year wait for their 12th Belgian top flight title on Sunday. If they side beat Gent, or just better/match the result of Club Brugge, they will win the title for the first time since 1935. Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the sides head coach Sébastien Pocognoli stressed that the side are approaching the game the same way they have approached all their matches this season. Pocognoli said 'It would be a mistake to change everything, because the team has performed well in recent weeks'. The side will do some preparation for the game on Saturday as they do before any game, rather than taking this opportunity to rest the players.
They will be without one of their talismanic defenders in Kevin Mac Allister. The Argentine centre back is suspended after picking up a booking in the comprehensive win over Antwerp last weekend. Options to step into his place are the likes of Fedde Leysen and Ross Sykes. Former Accrington Stanley defender Sykes has come up big for Union in the past, scoring important goals for the side. It would be quite a moment for the 25-year-old English central defender if he is able to do the same this Sunday.
All the games will kick off at 6.30pm Belgian time. Club Brugge travel to Antwerp for their final game of the season.

Bears newcomer Grady Jarrett excited to work alongside Gervon Dexter
The Chicago Bears made some impactful moves this offseason, including the signing of defensive tackle Grady Jarrett. Not only does Jarrett bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, but he'll serve as a leader in the defensive line room, including for someone like third-year pro Gervon Dexter. Dexter impressed during his first full season starting last year, most notably with Andrew Billings with him along the interior. He set career highs across the board in total tackles (51), tackles for loss (4), sacks (5.0), QB hits (19) and fumble recoveries (2). Advertisement For Jarrett, he thinks the sky's the limit for Dexter, who he noted is showing growth both in his play and as a leader. Dexter even organized a workout for Bears defensive linemen, where he invited Jarrett to Miami before the offseason workouts kicked into gear. 'I think he has a really high ceiling," Jarrett said. "Run game, being effective in the pass rush and growing as a leader too. When I first signed with the team, you saw us down in Miami working out together, (Gervon) put that together, he invited me. I thought that was a big gesture for him to invite me to hang out with them, spend some time working on our craft. I was able to meet him and Montez (Sweat) before I came in the building. I think that's been good for our relationship even before we got in the building, and that just showed his willingness to try to take that next step." Jarrett is impressed with how Dexter has approached the offseason as he looks to improve in Year 3, and the veteran defensive tackle is excited to play alongside the young, rising star. "You can see him and you can see the work he is putting in the weight room away from the facility," Jarrett said. "He was here early. He spends extra time with coach, I think year three is such a critical time where you could take that big leap. You play some football, you can get more comfortable and now you can know how to apply things and really take that big step. I'm excited to see what happens for him. I think our styles complement each other very well and I can't wait to continue to go hunt with the guy.' Advertisement With new defensive coordinator Dennis Allen leading the charge, expect an aggressive style of defense where the hope is Jarrett and Dexter will be wreaking havoc along the interior. How Bears' Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams will build connection
In order for the Chicago Bears to be successful this season, there is going to have an inseparable bond between head coach Ben Johnson and second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. That bond and connection is one of the main reasons why Johnson was hired by Chicago, given his offensive intellect and ability to get the most out of his quarterbacks, which he'll now look to do with Williams. Advertisement Following his introductory press conference as the new head coach, Johnson and general manager Ryan Poles spoke about rebuilding Williams from the ground up. Although he had a decent individual statistical season, Williams was held back by coaching malpractice and an overall bad season amid a 5-12 record, including a 10-game losing streak. Johnson recently discussed the importance of the relationship between play-caller and quarterback. "I think it goes beyond that, for me," Johnson said. "I brought up (Ryan) Tannehill before, it started with him, and then we had a number of guys that were in that quarterback room in Miami, different quarterback coaches, different play callers. Same thing in Detroit, whether it was (Matthew) Stafford or (Jared) Goff, different guys. You pick different things up out of all of them. I think there needs to be, you use the word accountability, it's like that for every position, but certainly that position. You have to be able to tell them when it's good and when it's not good enough, in front of their peers. We spend a lot of time together, one-on-one, as well. "Some of the best things that I did when I became the coordinator was the quarterback and the play-caller need to see the play exactly the same. You don't develop that trust unless you spend a lot of time together. For whatever reason, if you do it in the room with all the other quarterbacks, sometimes you can get a little defensive, whereas when it's one-on-one, the truth can can come out and no one's feelings are going to get hurt and each person can speak the truth. I guess those are some of the things that I have learned over the years." Advertisement Understanding not only a quarterback's skillset but their personality and how to communicate with be key for Johnson and Williams' working relationship. There was plenty of conversation around the negative discourse between Williams and the coaching staff in his rookie season, but Johnson's arrival has reenergized the franchise with the hope that he can build Williams into a long-term franchise staple.
