Amber Davies lets rip at 'selfish' audience member who 'ruined' West End performance
Angry actress Amber Davies launched a furious tirade at a 'selfish' audience member who wrecked her West End show.
The former Love Island star is appearing in The Great Gatsby Musical in London and she had a lengthy rant after someone in the stalls decided to film the production. Amber explained in detail while recording from your seat is such an issue - and it doesn't just irritate those who pay to see the performance.
Amber, who has also played Vivian Ward in the stage show of Pretty Woman, took to Instagram to make her point, and the Welsh star didn't hold back. She told the woman filming to think of others as well as those performing - and says she'll get security to act the next time she sees a person doing it. It comes after Katie Price worried fans with appearance in family photo after explaining her weight loss.
"This is a PSA," she said in a video on the social media platform. "The closer you are to the stage when you're watching a show the more obvious it is when you're filming. This is the entire stalls. If you're filming in the stalls we can see you!
"From someone who's on stage, I just wanna tell you a little bit about what we see. So we see like a dark canvas and outlines of people's heads. If you're filming, the reflection from the lights bounce straight back the back of your iPhone onto us on stage. So it is the one thing we can see.
"So to the woman filming New Money tonight, you distracted absolutely everybody on that stage. And not only that, it takes us out of the Gatsby world because you're filming and you've basically ruined that moment for everybody else who was watching the show tonight."
Amber went on to ask: "Please don't be selfish. Stop filming shows. If someone is filming during a show know that this is the consequences that it has to the people on stage and tell them to stop because honestly it's annoying.
"Also, I single-handedly will count how many seats back you are and tell our stage manager where you're sitting and what colour hair you've got, and trust me, in the interval they will come and ask you to delete the footage so you've basically done it for nothing. Okay, I'm gonna enjoy act two now."
The 29-year-old has since gone on to build an impressive career as a West End actor, landing roles in everything from Bring it On! to Back to the Future. Amber is now using her public platform to raise awareness of drink spiking after she fell victim to it years ago.
She hopes that by sharing her ordeal with others, she can help people recognise the signs of it the criminal offence and protect themselves and their loved ones. The Love Island recalled the terrifying incident during a night out in North Wales in 2018, which she has since called an "out of body experience."
Amber shot to fame in 2017 as the winner of the third series of the ITV dating reality show alongside her then-partner, Kem Cetinay, after the pair delighted viewers with their adorable relationship. However, shortly after reaching huge reality fame, Amber's drink was spiked during a night out which "took a turn for the worst" and she was rushed to A&E.

'I think if someone put my daughter through that level of scrutiny or pressure...' Although she admitted that things have got a lot better since then, Myleene went on to add: 'Some of the experiences that we went through we were in no way equipped for it. 'We were just five kids in a room at the end of the day - not unlike these five kids in a room and that's all you have.'

In recent years, Ozzy had been battling health conditions, including Parkinson's. His official death certificate lists 'acute myocardial infarction' and 'out of hospital cardiac arrest' under the cause of death section. It also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction as 'joint causes' of his death. The certificate also described Ozzy's occupation as a 'rock legend, songwriter and performer'. Kelly Osbourne has thanked fans for their 'support' during the 'hardest moment' of her life following the death of her father, the Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and died at the age of 76 on July 22, surrounded by his family. Since his death, tributes have been pouring in from fans and friends around the world with thousands visiting the Black Sabbath Bench in the musician's home city of Birmingham to lay bouquets, wreaths, posters, balloons, candles and cards. The Osbourne family visited the bench in Broad Street last Wednesday to lay their own flowers during a cortege procession. Kelly, 40, who starred in the 2000s reality series The Osbournes, shared a post on her Instagram story on Monday thanking fans for their support. She said: 'I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough… but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 'The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain. 'Grief is a strange thing — it sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be ok for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. 'I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind. Thank you for being there. I love you all so much. – Kelly #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever.' On Monday, Birmingham City Council began gathering up the tributes so they can be stored before being handed over to the Osbourne family. A handful of fans watched from behind barriers, took photographs and hugged each other as officials in hi-vis jackets collected all the flowers and tributes which had been laid in front of the bench and on the railings behind it. The council said the mementos would be gathered and preserved 'respectfully' in agreement with the rock star's relatives and then stored 'with the utmost care at a secure location, ensuring they are protected and treated with dignity'. The council said: 'In due course, they will be passed on to the Osbourne family, so they may keep them as a lasting reminder of the public's affection and support.'I n a statement released through the city council, the Osbourne family said: 'We are deeply moved by the heartfelt tributes that have been placed at the Black Sabbath Bridge and at the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street in recent days.
