This achievement, the NOC reported, is the culmination of a series of recent successes by NWD in recommissioning and reintegrating the No. 13, 12 and 33 rigs into the company's fleet, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the readiness of all rigs and enhancing their operational capability to increase performance efficiency, increase the company's revenues and enhance its competitiveness in the local markets.
Sonatrach's A-65/2 well – EPSA 2008
It will be recalled that Sonatrach had obtained a license to explore and share production in the public tender round (EPSA) held in 2008, resulting in the commercialization of the A-65/2 oil discovery in the Ghadames basin. AGOCO's HH91-65 well in Masala field returns to production with 2,400 bpd
Libya's state Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced last Wednesday (13 August) that it has realised a new technical achievement represented in the return of the HH91-65 well in the Masala field to production at a substantially high rate of 2,400 bpd, after its production was limited in the past. The company said this comes within the framework of the National Oil Corporation's (NOC) plan to increase production rates.
