The first Motorola Edge (2025) discount is here to make a solid value proposition even better
$50 off (9%) 5G, Unlocked, 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, 6.7-Inch P-OLED Display with 2712 x 1220 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Processor, Android 15, 50 + 10 + 50MP Triple Rear-Facing Camera System, 50MP Front-Facing Camera, 5,200mAh Battery, 68W Wired and 15W Wireless Charging Support, IP68 and IP69 Water and Dust Resistance, Military-Grade Durability, Vegan Leather Finish, Pantone Deep Forest Color Buy at BestBuy
As you can imagine, this is the first ever Motorola Edge (2025) promotion offered by a retailer like Best Buy, and no, Amazon and the handset's manufacturer cannot match the $50 price cut at this time. You don't need to activate your new 6.7-inch device on a specific US carrier to save that money, mind you, or jump through any other hoops. You also don't have to be a My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total member to take advantage of the unprecedented offer despite what may seem like suspicious timing on the retailer's part. At $499.99 with no strings attached, the Motorola Edge (2025) is... still not a perfect phone, going directly up against a Google Pixel 9a, for instance, that promises superior long-term software support while sporting a much smaller display and a far less impressive build. If that doesn't already sound like a tough enough choice, our Motorola Edge (2025) review makes it crystal clear - this is an absolute stunner with excellent battery life, blazing fast charging, but also underwhelming overall system performance and a camera system that tries to do too much. So should you or should you not pull the trigger here? I believe you absolutely should, as the strong points outweigh the weaknesses, but with Amazon's Prime Day festival around the corner, there's clearly a good chance you'll be able to save more than 50 bucks soon. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL announced with Tensor G5, new telephoto lens and bigger batteries
Michail, 20 August 2025 A brand-new chipset, larger batteries, and a new telephoto camera. These are the key new additions to the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The pair is visually identical to their predecessors but now comes in Moonstone (blue-gray), Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white) and Jade (green) colors. Google Pixel 10 Pro 5G 128GB 16GB RAM € 1,099.00 € 1,099.00 1TB 16GB RAM £ 1,449.00 Pixel 10 Pro (Jade) and Pixel 10 Pro XL (Moonstone) Pixel 10 Pro is equipped with a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, while Pixel 10 Pro XL gets a 6.8-inch diagonal. Pixel 10 Pro gets a 1,280 x 2,856px resolution while the 10 Pro XL comes with a 1,344 x 2,992px resolution. Both panels also offer a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The maximum local screen brightness is 3,300 nits, and you also get Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. You also get a 42MP selfie cam and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL The more important new addition is the Tensor G5 chipset. It's the first Google chipset fabbed by TSMC (instead of Samsung), and it claims to bring improved efficiency that should finally see Pixels on an even playing field with the Snapdragon flagship Android crowd. Tensor G5 features an updated CPU, which is 34% faster than the Tensor G4, while AI tasks should run 60% faster. The new chip is also the first to run Google's newest Gemini Nano model, and it is paired with the Titan M2 security chip. The Pixel 10 Pro series comes with 16GB RAM as standard. But Pixels are known for their cameras and the new Pixel 10 Pro series is offering some iterative updates. The 50MP main (1/1.3" sensor) and 48MP ultrawide (1/2.55" sensor) modules from last year are here again and they are joined by an all-new 48MP telephoto (1/2.55") lens. The new telephoto offers 5x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. You can also record videos at up to 8K resolution and 30fps. Pixel 10 Pro features a 4,870 mAh battery with 30W charging, while the 10 Pro XL boasts a 5,200 mAh cell with 45W speeds. But that's not all, the new Pixel also supports Qi 2 wireless charging with 15W speeds on the Pixel 10 Pro and 25W on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. That's all, thanks to Pixelsnap, which is Google's take on MagSafe. On the software side, the Pixel 10 series comes with Android 16 and Google's new Material 3 Expressive UI. That's backed by 7 years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates. Google Pixel 10 Pro XL 5G 256GB 16GB RAM £ 1,199.00 £ 1,199.00 512GB 16GB RAM £ 1,319.00 Both new Pixels are IP68 rated, and come with Wi-Fi 7, Ultra-Wideband and Bluetooth 6 connectivity. Pixel 10 Pro with 128GB storage starts at $999/€1,099/£999/₹109,999. Pixel 10 Pro XL with 256GB will start at $1,199/€1,299/£1,199/₹124,999. Pre-orders start today with deliveries scheduled for August 28.

As a recovering iPhone addict, this Pixel 10 feature hooked me for all the right reasons
Say what you will about the Pixel 10 lineup, and honestly there are a lot of things that could be said about it, both positive and negative, but there's one aspect of it all that Google truly nailed. See, I'm a recovering iPhone addict that rediscovered the beauty of Android in 2025, who still misses some core iPhone features, with the most essential one being MagSafe. As any other iPhone user, I've accrued a multitude of MagSafe accessories over the years, ranging from portable power banks, car holders, wallets, to popsockets and desk stands. You name it, there's a chance I have one. Point is, to use my MagSafe accessory collection with Android, I always had to resort to the tedious process of sourcing a third-party MagSafe case for the Android phone I've been daily-driving. Be it the outstanding Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, or the Vivo X200 Pro, it was always a day-one purchase from the jam-packed Chinese retail websites. The reason for that is simple: MagSafe is outstanding, and no Android had an alternative. Until now. The Pixel 10 range comes with PixelSnap, which is built on the Qi2 standard. Unlike some previous Android phones that were Qi2-ready, Google's new phones actually feature the embedded magnets inside the phones that allow you to quickly and easily attach your Pixelsnap and MagSafe accessories to the back. That's a default feature: you don't need to put on the Pixelsnap case to make use of the feature; you might as well use your Pixel 10 naked if you wish (though I'd always recommend getting a case). It took Android some time to finally come up with its own answer to MagSafe, and it's not technically a competing standard. It's a product of a collaboration between Apple and the Wireless Power Consortium to align MagSafe and the Qi standard back in 2023. Ever since, I've been patiently waiting for Android devices to score Qi2 devices with the magnets built-in so that I can make use of all my favorite accessories without having to resort to questionable third-party cases. Is that enough to hype me up for the Pixel 10 series? Yes! I admit, the earlier rumors and leaks didn't hype me up about the Pixel 10 even one iota, but as soon as the Pixelsnap murmur started making the rounds, I kept an ear close to the ground. As soon as I laid eyes on the embargoed materials and saw that Pixelsnap is definitely happening, I immediately knew that this would be the signature feature of the Pixel 10 series, Magic Cue and Pro Res Zoom be damned. *** Good news everyone!
