Sebastien Ibeagha scores in stoppage time to rally Dallas to 3-3 draw with Cincinnati
CINCINNATI (AP) — Defender Sebastien Ibeagha scored in the second minute of second-half stoppage time as FC Dallas rallied for a 3-3 draw with FC Cincinnati on Wednesday night.
Ibeagha's goal came with assists from Patrickson Delgado and Ramiro Benetti after Gerardo Valenzuela scored his fourth goal — unassisted in the 86th to give Cincinnati the lead.

It was the first goal this season for Ibeagha and his fourth in 171 career appearances. Delgado's helper was his first this season and Benetti's was the first of his career in his 14th appearance.
Cincinnati grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute on Pavel Bucha's first goal this season. DeAndre Yedlin notched his third assist and Luca Orellano his second.
Kévin Denkey scored on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute for a 2-0 advantage at halftime. Denkey's ninth goal came after he was fouled by Dallas goalkeeper Maarten Paes.
Dallas pulled within 2-1 five minutes into the second half when Petar Musa used an assist from defender Shaq Moore to score his fourth goal this season and his 20th in 42 career appearances. Moore's assist was his first of the campaign.

Anderson Julio found the net for the fourth time to tie it 2-2 in the 68th minute.
Roman Celantano totaled two saves for Cincinnati (9-4-3).
Paes saved five shots for Dallas (4-6-5) and had the only save in the first half.
Former captain and 2023 MVP Luciano Acosta returned for the first time since being traded to Dallas after four seasons in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati is 5-0-2 at home this season and 8-0-2 when scoring first. The club is 14-4-5 all time against Western Conference opponents under head coach Pat Noonan.
Dallas made its first trip to Cincinnati after posting a win and a draw at home in the first two matchups.
Dallas will host the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. Cincinnati plays visiting D.C. United on Saturday.

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine is ready to resume direct peace talks with Russia in Istanbul on Monday, a top adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, following days of uncertainty over whether Kyiv would attend a meeting proposed by Moscow. But Ukrainian officials have insisted that the Kremlin provide a promised memorandum setting out its position on ending the more than three-year war, before the two delegations sit down to negotiate. 'Ukraine is ready to attend the next meeting, but we want to engage in a constructive discussion,' Andrii Yermak said in a statement on the website of Ukraine's Presidential Office late Thursday. "This means it is important to receive Russia's draft. There is enough time – four days are sufficient for preparing and sending the documents,' Yermak said. Ukraine and its European allies have repeatedly accused the Kremlin of dragging its feet in peace efforts, while it tries to press its bigger army's battlefield initiative and capture more Ukrainian land. Kyiv's Western partners, including the U.S., are urging Moscow to agree to an unconditional ceasefire, something Kyiv has embraced while the Kremlin has held out for terms more to its liking. Ukraine's top diplomat, Andrii Sybiha, also told reporters on Friday that Kyiv is waiting for Russia to clarify its proposals ahead of a next round of talks. 'We want to end this war this year. We are interested in establishing a ceasefire, whether it is for 30 days, 50 days, or 100 days. Ukraine is open to discussing this directly with Russia,' Sybiha said at a joint news conference in Kyiv with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. Stars coach Peter DeBoer under fire for controversial decision in season-ending loss to Oilers
This attempt at a spark fizzled out, and instead, Stars coach Peter DeBoer is now under the microscope. DeBoer shockingly benched starting goalie Jake Oettinger roughly seven minutes into a win-or-go-home Game 5 for Dallas on Thursday night after the Oilers scored two quick goals. The controversial move did not provide the desired result — Jeff Skinner netted a goal less than a minute later against backup Casey DeSmith — and the Stars were ousted from the Western Conference Final in a 6-3 defeat. 4 Peter DeBoer's gamble backfired. Getty Images DeSmith did not galvanize the team in his second appearance of this postseason, and Dallas has now lost in three straight conference finals under DeBoer, including back-to-back years against Edmonton. 'I didn't take that lightly and I didn't blame it all on Jake,'' DeBoer said. 'But the reality is, if you go back to last year's playoffs, he's lost six of seven games to Edmonton, and we gave up two goals on two shots in an elimination game. So it was partly to spark our team and partly knowing that the status quo had not been working. That's a pretty big sample size.' Oettinger did not play well entering Game 5 and did little to inspire confidence by yielding two early goals, but pulling your starting goalie less than halfway into a potential elimination game is still a jarring move. Edmonton scored 2:31 and 7:09 into the game to grab a 2-0 edge, although both goals did not fall strictly on his shoulders due to the scores coming on a power play and a breakaway. The goalie stopped just 93 of 109 shots (.853) in the series after posting a save percentage of .909 during the regular season and playing well in series wins over the Avalanche and Jets. 'He is your guy, but you can't stand here and do the same thing,' Ferraro said. 'You need to jolt your team. Somehow, you have to jolt them. You can only call a timeout, you can only change the line so often.' Some labeled the move as one of panic and desperation, and that it backfired raises questions about DeBoer's future in Dallas. While the team has reached the conference finals in all three of his seasons, it's fair to wonder if he's the right man to get the team to the Stanley Cup Final. DeBoer is now 2-6 in the conference finals, including six straight losses in the round. 'I think it's possible to be two things at the same time. I'm really proud of the resiliency of our group through the first two rounds … and I'm also disappointed that we didn't find another level, another gear here, another way,' DeBoer said. 'I think our group needs to go, coaches, players, and reflect in the summer what we can do better when we get to this point against the best teams. 'But there's no doubt the two best teams are playing for the Cup.'
