Israel to resume aid airdrops to Gaza, vows safe passage for UN convoys
Israel's military said Saturday (July 26) that airdrops of aid to Gaza would resume overnight and that it would establish humanitarian corridors to guarantee safe transport for UN convoys of food and medicines. "Tonight, the (Israeli military) will resume the aerial airdrops of humanitarian aid, as part of ongoing efforts to allow and facilitate the entry of aid to Gaza," it said, adding that the first drops would consist of seven pallets containing flour, sugar and canned food provided by international organisations.
