Melbourne woman vents about terrifying crime scourge forcing her to move after two stolen cars and attempted break-in
Chrissy Skye, from New Zealand, has made headlines after posting a series of videos on TikTok in which she claimed her home had been broken into and that she has had two cars stolen.
While the video exhibited her Kiwi humour, Skye said she had felt so unsafe that she wanted to move.
'I'm getting the f**k out of here,' she said in the video, telling viewers she was going to put her house up for rent.
'You will feel unsafe at night, that is just what it is.
'I've had one person try to break into my house so far and I've had two cars stolen.'
Skye said she was going to go live in an apartment after feeling 'so unsafe at night' because of the crime epidemic in the Victorian capital city.
'It's disgusting,' she said.
'And the government don't care.'
In another video, Skye said the bail laws were 'too lenient' after five 'African boys' stole her $100,000 car and were released. Skye claimed the same five had been stalking her house at night.
In a third video, published on Saturday, Skye said she would be moving into an apartment in less than a week.
'I'm just so excited, because I'm getting the f**k out of here, finally,' she said.
Skye said she had no one to move into the house and would therefore be paying off her mortgage while renting the apartment.

Melbourne woman vents about terrifying crime scourge forcing her to move after two stolen cars and attempted break-in
A Melbourne woman has vented about the untenable level of crime in her suburb, near Altona, which has left her with no other choice but to move into an apartment. NRL star questioned by police, stopped at airport
Don't miss out on the headlines from NRL. Followed categories will be added to My News. South Sydney star Brandon Smith has been stopped by Queensland police after arriving in the Gold Coast. As first reported by Code Sports, the 29-year-old was pulled aside by police after players arrived at Coolangatta on Saturday afternoon ahead of the side's clash with the Titans on Sunday. 'Queensland Police had cause to speak to a 29-year-old male at Coolangatta Airport,' a statement from the authorities said. 'The male was later released without charge. Police have no further information to provide.' The Rabbitohs have confirmed Smith will still play the fixture against the Titans. Smith was expected to be presented with his jersey by Kiwi great Issac Luke ahead of his 150th NRL appearance. Details of the incident were reported by leading NRL journalist Phil Rothfield, speaking on Triple M. The veteran reporter said Smith and his teammates were walking towards the baggage collection area when Smith was pulled aside. He said Smith did not join his teammates for a 'considerable' period of time. Brandon Smith of the Rabbitohs. Photo by. The Rabbitohs have made the NRL Integrity Unit aware of the incident. The reason why Smith was questioned is unclear at this stage. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing. Rothfield said there was no suggestion Smith had in anyway acted inappropriately on the flight. It has been a tumultuous period for Smith with a messy contract saga resulting in him making a mid-season move to South Sydney after a disastrous period with the Roosters. After dealing with long-term injuries and reported dramas inside the Roosters dressing room, the Kiwi international was shown the door by Roosters coach Trent Robinson, who openly admitted the team wanted to spend its salary cap space somewhere else. Before the Roosters and Rabbitohs cut a deal, the cult hero known as 'Cheese' was dropped to train with the Roosters' reserve grade squad. The former Melbourne Storm hooker said in May it had been a tough period. 'I'm trying to hold myself together. I've got a great partner who's helping me out with everything,' he said. 'My partner Isabella has had to call the Bunnies while I'm doing all my other stuff, and she's been dealing with other people while I was at training yesterday. I'm very lucky I've got her by my side. 'All you can do is hold your head up high. I wasn't feeling great when I went into training yesterday, but you've got to do it.' Smith only made his Rabbitohs debut in Round 18 before he suffered another cruel knee injury. Prior to that game, he had not played at NRL level since Round 17 with the Roosters in 2024 as a result of another knee injury. More to come... Influencer's son drowned as dad ‘watched sport, placed bet'
New details have been released about the circumstances surrounding the death of influencer Emilie Kiser's son Trigg, including allegations his father, who was looking after him at the time, had placed a $25 bet on an NBA playoff. Brady Kiser was looking after the three-year-old and the pair's newborn son Theodore when Trigg was discovered floating in the family pool on May 12. Social media star Ms Kiser, who is known for her lifestyle content on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, was out with friends at the time. A police report into the tragedy obtained by People reveals Trigg was in the pool for about seven minutes before Mr Kiser found him floating unconscious in the water just before 6.40pm. The toddler died in hospital six days later. Emilie and Brady Kiser with Trigg. Credit: Instagram Police initially recommended Mr Kiser be charged with felony child abuse over the drowning death, but Maricopa County attorney Rachel Mitchell later confirmed prosecutors would not be proceeding because there was no 'reasonable likelihood of a conviction'. Mr Kiser told police he lost sight of the toddler for three to five minutes before he found him. He said Trigg had gone to the backyard after he had finished eating. Mr Kiser said he saw him playing near the pool, which was not unusual, but was 'soon distracted' by his newborn. Mr Kiser told police the next time he saw Trigg, he was in the pool. He jumped in to save him and, distraught, called 911. Video evidence collected by police cited in the report showed Trigg 'was in the backyard unsupervised for more than 9 minutes, and in the water for about 7 of those minutes'. The toddler did not go into the water intentionally, rather he tripped and fell in while playing with an inflatable chair. Police also alleged that Mr Kiser had been watching an NBA playoff game and had placed a $25 bet on the outcome around the time of the drowning. 'Brady's statements do not match what is seen on the video; he did not accurately describe one thing [Trigg] did after he went outside. This leads to the conclusion that Brady was not aware of what [Trigg] was doing and was not watching him,' the police report reads. 'The combination of these factors led to drowning, and a remedy to any of the contributing circumstances could have prevented the outcome.' Trigg Kiser drowned in a backyard pool. Credit: Instagram Ms Kiser had launched legal action to permanently bar the public release of certain records about Trigg's death. A court on Thursday ruled in her favour, removing two pages from the Chandler Police Department report.
