CLASSIC sitcom Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em has been slapped with a warning by the BBC for its Christmas Day special from 1975.
The seasonal special of the second series was titled Learning to Drive, and aired prime time at 6:55pm, featuring festive scenes of Frank Spencer working in Santa's grotto dressed as a pixie.

But when iconic character Frank performs to children and introduces himself as 'the Chief of the Pixies, the friend of all the little boys and girls', a young boy heckles him on stage, shouting: 'Oh no you're not, you're a poof.'
Frank, played by Michael Crawford, responds: 'I beg your pardon? Block your ears. I'll remember your face - you needn't bother cleaning your chimney this Christmas.'
His typically calamitous performance as a pixie, in which he plays a bugle and a magic flute, is criticised by Mr Wheeler, played by George Sewell, who gets laughs from the audience for making several quips about 'fairies', which may also be considered outdated humour due to the term's connotations.
The episode now appears on iPlayer with the warning that the episode contains: 'Discriminatory language which some may find offensive.'

The episode also sees Frank attempt to pass his driving test, and show off his shoddy DIY attempts to Any Questions? host David Jacobs when the BBC invites him to appear in a home improvements TV show.
The beloved series ran for three series from 1975 until 1978, and only one episode contains a warning to modern viewers.
Previously, viewers of the The Fast Show have been warned about 'discriminatory language' in a Suits You scene from an episode which aired in February 1996.
It could concern a scene where the series' lusty Middle Aged Guys declare women who rebuffed their advances 'lesbians'.
The Office and Only Fools and Horses are also screened with warnings about their appropriateness for modern audiences.
Channel 4 has previously been branded 'humourless' for flagging a series of Father Ted episodes on its streaming service, and ITV has a similar caution on 1970s comedy George & Mildred.

Myleene and Graham are parents to two daughters - Ava, 17, and Hero, 13. Whilst Graham has remained tight-lipped about his alleged infidelity, he has recently opened up about being estranged from his children for years. Graham, who is currently based in Ibiza for work, told Fathers4Justice in a recent piece: "I haven't seen my kids in years." He went on: "I've thrown so much more money at it [trying to see his daughters] and I can't afford much more. I've spent £20,000 and am probably further away from them now than I've ever been. It's like banging my head against a brick wall. I've missed so many birthdays and Christmas days. I'll never get that back." He also claimed that his parents and other relatives have been cut off from the children as well. During their marriage breakdown, Graham stated that Myleene attempted to suggest her finances were left in tatters during their divorce proceedings. However, Graham now maintains he walked away empty-handed from any settlement. He claimed: "I got no financial settlement at all. All I got from the sale of the house was the money I'd put in. In fact, we sold it at a loss. My eldest used to say to me, 'daddy, did you take all of Mummy's pennies?' and I'd have to explain no. She got the easiest divorce ever. My lawyer at the time said I could've demanded a lot more, but I didn't want to. It would be taking away from my daughters." The Mirror has contacted Myleene for comment.

The Traitors champ Meryl Williams has revealed she has finally buried the hatchet with her former on-screen rival, Maddy Smedley. The reality star, 28, who shot to fame in the hit BBC show's first series in 2022, walked away with a share of the huge cash prize alongside fellow winners Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski. But during her time in the castle, it was her fiery bust-ups with Maddy that stole the headlines. After the first snap, she added a mirror selfie, explaining how she was having hairline lowering surgery. Meryl shared a snap of the mapped out lines on her forehead, where the surgeon would operate. Meryl confessed that to her, it has been worth it. Alongside the emotional transformation, she penned: 'Sharing my forehead reduction / hairline lowering surgery journey [sparkle emoji]. 'Not a lot of people know I under went the surgery it was something I have wanted for years & dealt with one of my biggest insecurities my forehead #surgery.' She was greeted with overwhelming support from fans in the comments, who shared how they admire her confidence and that she is looking 'radiant'. Meryl has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia which affects the growth of cartilage and can lead to a larger forehead. Meryl's new-found confidence comes some months after she was forced to hide in a toilet after being targeted by feral teenagers on a London-bound train. The TV star won a share of the BBC show's £101,050 cash prize after appearing on its first series in 2022. And she admitted to being an 'easy target' for a gang of four youths during a January trip to London - after admitting she has only just gained the confidence to travel by train. Addressing TikTok followers, she admitted she had retreated to a nearby toilet in a bid to escape their verbal abuse. 'Living with this condition is something that you can't hide,' she explained. 'People see you straight away; they notice you straight away, you're just an easy target. 'I got on the train, they sat opposite me because I'm sitting on the seats with tables, and so far they've said that I need a stepladder to get on the train, I'm a midget, they've watched dwarf throwing, they've taken videos of me, they've taken photos of me, they said I've got sausage fingers, and they've laughed at me.' The Scottish influencer admitted she was staying in the toilet until they left the train, and condemned fellow passengers for not stepping in. She added: 'This is all in the space of 10 minutes. I'm on my own right now. Everyone around me has witnessed this, heard this, and no one's said anything. I don't know what to do. 'So I thought, I know they're getting off at Durham, and they got on at Newcastle, so if you know these people, let me know, four teenagers… so I'm gonna wait in the toilet until the Durham stop, then I'll go out.'
