Bahria College Karsaz Blue defeated Blasters Ballers Club with a score of 10-2 in the first match of the day at the Shuhada-e-Traffic Police Trophy Girls Basketball Tournament at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court in Aram Bagh.
From the winning team, Raheema scored 4 points, while Dua and Kanza Ali contributed 2 points each. From the runner-up team, Fatima managed to score 2 points.
In the second match, Blasters Ballers bounced back and defeated Bahria College Karsaz Yellow by 7-2. For the winning team, Humeima scored 4 points and Fatima added 3. From the runner-up side, Urooj scored 2 points.
In the third match, Bahria College Blue comfortably beat Bahria College Yellow by 20-6. From the winning team, Mahjabeen scored 10 points, Raheema 6, and Katrah Ali 4. For the runner-up team, Dania, Fatima Imran, and Maheen each scored 2 points.
At the start of the matches, the players and organizers were introduced to DSP Saeed Arain of the Police Sports Board. Notable personalities including Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Tariq Hussain, and others were also present at the occasion.
The tournament is being held under the auspices of Firdous Ittehad and with the permission of the Karachi Basketball Association (KBA)and under the patronage of the Traffic Police.
Technical officials and referees for these matches included Aamir Sharif, Zahid Malik, Muhammad Ashraf, Zaeema Khatoon, Nasrat Afzal, and Muhammad Usman.

PHOTO: APP Bahria College Karsaz claimed a resounding victory in the final to lift the Shuhada-e-Traffic Police Trophy Girls Basketball Tournament on Thursday night after defeating Blastik Ballers by 25-15 at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court in Aram Bagh. Standout performances were seen by Saleha Noor (10 points), Dua Batool (8 points), and Raheema Irfan (7 points) led Bahria College to victory. For the runner-up team, Fatima Idrees scored 8 points, and Urooj added 7. Organized under the patronage of DIG Traffic Peer Muhammad Shah and hosted by Firdous Ittehad with support from the Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA), the tournament paid homage to the martyrs of the traffic police. The final match was witnessed by a large, enthusiastic crowd of basketball fans. In the awards ceremony following the match, Dua Batool was named Girl of the Tournament while Saleha Noor was declared Girl of the Final. Muhammad Saeed, Secretary of the Police Sports Board, graced the event as the chief guest and distributed trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes among the players. He praised the organizers and commended the players for their sportsmanship and skill, announcing that the tournament will now be held annually to continue honoring the legacy of traffic police martyrs. Also in attendance were Shahida Parveen Kiyani, President, Firdous Ittehad, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Director Sports, Commissioner Karachi, Rotarian Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed. In his remarks, Ghulam Muhammad Khan extended special thanks to DIGP Peer Muhammad Shah for not only sponsoring the event but also contributing generous cash prizes and gifts for participants. He offered a heartfelt tribute to the fallen heroes of the traffic police. To conclude the ceremony, Shahida Parveen Kiyani presented a souvenir to Muhammad Saeed on behalf of Firdous Ittehad, in recognition of his continued support for youth sports and the legacy of public service.

PHOTO: APP Aram Bagh Club defeated Youth Club 8-4 while Scout Club outplayed Karachi Youth Club by 22-6 in the opening matches of the Shuhada-e-Traffic Police Trophy Girls Basketball Tournament which kicked off at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court in Aram Bagh on Wednesday. In the first match, for winners Aram Bagh Club Anabia scored 4 points, while Atiqa and Amna Ashraf scored 2 points each for the winning side. For Youth Club, Sara and Fabiha scored 2 points each. In the second match, winners Scout Club were led by Nimra Amin with 10 points while Iqra Shafiq scored 6 and Zara Arif contributed 4 points. For the losing team, Umm-e-Hani, Sara Ashraf, and Fabiha Tariq scored 2 points apiece. In the third match, Scout Club narrowly defeated Aram Bagh Club 4-2. Zara Arif scored all 4 points for the winning team, while Anabia scored 2 for the runner-up. Earlier, the tournament was formally inaugurated by SSP South Traffic Suhai Aziz.
