
Three men charged after Gardaí seize €168,000 worth of cannabis in Dublin
Gardaí made the arrests as part of an investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (North). During the operation, a male, aged in his 20s, was stopped and searched in the Dublin 5 area on Wednesday. Over €5,000 worth of cannabis was seized.
The man was arrested in connection with the investigation and detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Garda Station in the North Dublin area. He has since been charged, and is due to appear before the courts at a later date.
During follow-up searches at a number of locations in the Coolock, Dublin 5 area, cannabis with a value in excess of €163,000 was seized.
Two men (aged in their 20s and 40s) were arrested in connection with the investigation, and detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Garda Station in the North Dublin area.
They have since been charged, and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ No. 1), this morning, Thursday August 14, at approximately 10.30am.
The seized drugs are subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI). Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.

Wicklow gardaí renew appeal for information on missing Wicklow man
Today at 06:28 Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the public's assistance in locating 50-year-old Jason Kenna, who has been reported missing from Greystones, Co. Wicklow since Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Jason is described as approximately 5'10" in height, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be travelling in a silver Ford Focus bearing a 09WW registration. Both Gardaí and Jason's family are concerned for his welfare.
