BREAKING: Calvin Harris suffers heartbreak as pet 'murdered by idiot neighbour's dog'

Calvin Harris has shared his outrage following the death of his beloved pet as he claimed they were "murdered" by his neighbours. The DJ, who recently welcomed his first child, shared a photo of him holding Smokey as he shared the sad news. He paid tribute to the cockerel alongside a snap of him topless in his large garden. Calvin wrote: "RIP Smokey we love you. Raised this lad from chick to a majestic cockerel." The music star fumed: "Murdered by the idiot neighbours grimey dog. Absolutely gutted." It comes just a week after Calvin revealed he has welcomed his first child with Vick Hope. Last week, he shared the happy news the couple had welcomed a baby son on July 20. He shared sweet snaps from their home as they have been wrapped up in their love bubble. One Kiss hitmaker Calvin shared the very first picture of his newborn son and announced the beautifully unique name the couple have chose for their first-born child. Alongside an adorable photo of the couple's newborn baby cuddling into his dad's chest, Calvin wrote: "20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah." In the collection of photos Calvin shared announcing the birth of Micah, it was revealed that Vick had a water birth as she was seen in a blue birthing pool surrounded by candles. The new mum gave birth to her son outside on a balcony, and with an incredible view in front of her as greenery and trees surrounded them. One sweet picture showed Calvin kneeling down beside his partner seemingly just seconds after Micah was born. The Scottish DJ's Instagram post also featured a 'jump scare' as he posted a picture of Vick's placenta before going on to post more pictures of how the couple preserved it. This technique involves steaming, dehydrating, and grinding the placenta into capsules for consumption. Calvin and Vick chose to keep their pregnancy under wraps for as long as possible before finally announcing the happy news back in late May. Vick broke the news to her fans while finishing her last BBC Radio 1 show before heading on maternity. She said: "I should say that this is my final week. "I wanted to share that with you because we've had such a lovely time over the last few weeks. That time is coming to an end for a bit because I'm going on maternity leave next week." Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing piped in "You're an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you're just going to be an amazing mum." Vick then went on to share why she didn't formally announced she was expecting a baby. She explained: "This is not an announcement, by the way. People keep saying are you going to announce, are you going to announce? And I'm like, I'm not the King. I do not see the point, it's not for me. I'll be honest, I struggle with anything that's personal or private. "I will tell you a story about eating a kebab out of a bin, that's one thing. But there's a line and so I've never been that big on sharing. Particularly because I've just been enjoying this privately and quietly."

More info Tens of thousands of Edinburgh Oasis fans have queued up at Murrayfield ahead of the Gallagher brothers final gig in the capital. Oasis' Supersonic run of shows at the home of Scottish rugby will come to a close tonight with their third show in the capital after the Mancunian rockers played their first show together in Scotland in 16 years on Friday and Saturday, reports The Record. Over 200,000 fans will have attended the sold-out shows once tonight's performance ends and eager oasis-lovers have already began queuing to get the best spot possible before the doors open at 5pm. Around 67,000 more Oasis fans are set to pack the venue tonight. Those queuing have been pictured decked out in Oasis merchandise from bucket hats, which are being sold from vendors outside the stadium, to football shirts branded with the band's logo. Excited fans who have travelled from across the world, including as far as South Korea, spoke to the Record earlier as they waited in line for the "biblical" gig. Civil servant Meeho Lee, 33, and data analyst Ra Young, 31, came from Seoul to witness their favourite band play in Edinburgh. Meeho said: 'I was a huge fan of Oasis since I was a high school student. After I heard they were reuniting, my friend and I got tickets to come here. 'It was a lot of preparation with plane tickets and hotels. It was expensive but it's been worth it. 'Edinburgh is a very attractive city and the beer is delicious.' Support act Richard Ashcroft is set to take the stage at 7pm followed by the main event at 8.15pm. A curfew for fans exiting Murrayfield has been set at 10.30pm. ScotRail is advising fans to make their way promptly to Haymarket station after the show, where a designated holding area is in place on Haymarket Terrace to manage crowds safely and efficiently. They said: "We're encouraging everyone to plan their journey in advance, make the most of the extra services, and soak up the atmosphere of a great night in the capital."

The huge estate produces fruit, vegetables, eggs, and wine, and represents Harris's shift from a jet-set lifestyle to a more rural affair. At the time, a source told The Sun that Calvin "employs an expert team, including farmers and chefs". But they added that he is very "hands-on" at the ranch and "regularly gets involved in planting and other farm activities" And one of the things he enjoys doing is looking after animals. Over the last three years, Calvin has raised a beloved cockerel, raising it from when it was just a tiny little chick. Raised this lad from a chick to a majestic cockerel... Absolutely gutted. RIP Smokey, we love you Calvin Harris He named the rooster Smokey and has shared numerous photos with it with fans on social media. Calvin Harris reveals he's become a dad for the first time after wife Vick Hope gives birth and shares first snap of son He posted a photo with the rooster on his Instagram story with the caption: "RIP Smokey, we love you. "Raised this lad from a chick to a majestic cockerel. "Murdered by the idiot neighbours' grimey dogs. Absolutely gutted". Calvin used the same photo with the rooster to promote his new single Blessings back in May. The beaming dad, 41, shared snaps holding his newborn baby to show fans the new addition to the family. He told loyal followers that the tot was born on July 20 in the adorable post, which was shared last week. The radio host joked: "Calvin, welcome to the 40s club." Calvin replied: 'Ah, thanks very much mate, yep. Cheers. Feels good. My Mrs, she's got so much energy, I'm trying to keep up with her. "So, yeah, but you know, it feels good. It feels good. I like, I like the age. I always said that once I get past 50, I can't see me DJing, man.' However the producer added that he isn't ditching the industry completely and opened up about future projects. He said: "I think I prefer to be, like, in the studio making tunes. But maybe I'll just make someone else's tunes, do you know what I mean? "Like a ghost producer sort of thing or mix down for people. I will do that when I get a bit older. I think that is where the majority of my talent lies, is making something sound good. "So, I would like to make other people's records sound good.' "We love you so much Micah".
